  1. I hope we can queue into duplicate killer lobbies
    And to be able to change our killer.

    and the player who decides to swap off of the killer they queued as will get bonus bp and potentially a priority requeue.

    That way even if you didn’t get to play as what you wanted you’ll get a game sooner to make up for it.

    And it would also incentivize people to maybe swap off the killer they initially queued as.

    I could see it being abused sadly as I can’t play huntress so I’d just queue huntress and swap off to get more matches.

    It’s difficult but yeah I think letting killers be able to queue up with dupes and having to swap would help.

    I think another thing that would help is just having 2v8 available as a custom game. So people can still play 2v8 streamers and content creators can invite their whole community and everyone will be able to enjoy the mode more easily!

  2. There really isn't any good solution tbh. They could force you to queue as survivor if too many are queued as killers (killer queue is full). Or they could try a BP incentive for each individual killer, so if nobody is playing billy, you get a BP incentive if you queue as billy.

  3. I think the only way BHVR can fix the queue times for killers to make all killers available to play in 2v8 to fix the queue times. I’m on PS5 and i waited for damn near an hour and got absolutely no luck so making all killers available will likely fix the problem I haven’t even played killer yet on this mode because of the queue times and I really wanna play killer in this mode

  4. people really can't grasp the idea that survivor has the BP incentive in this mode because there are for example 10 000 people playing killer and only 2 or 3000 people playing survivor when you need a 1 to 4 ratio killer survivor for fast search times. Proving the average player is not informed or smart. BHVR can not fix this issue by simply throwing BP at players

  5. What also increases the queue time for killers is the fact, that there are only five available killers for that mode and there cannot be two same killers in one game, yet you must choose a killer before queuing up.
    Since killer abilities in that mode are not customizable, will giving an option to queue as a random killer help things?

  6. i think the bp bonus for surv should be higher honestly like it wouldnt fix it but it might help a little regardless me and alot of other people included with still queue killer alot no matter what

  7. I know it can't be done for this Session ….. but my idea is to make it a 2 v 6 instead…. but each survivor has to be caged 4 times.

    8×3=24
    6×4=24

    That way less survivors needed …. but you have the same number of Downs required.

    Also bring in a cool mechs that survivors might wanna try that is special to this mode ….. for example….. Repairing Pallets … that takes two survivors doing Yellow Glypth Skill Checks at the same time to achieve.

  8. They could +800% survivor BP and it still wouldn't help the killer queue. Probably introduce a token system. Play 4 times as survivor in 2v8 to get 1 token to play killer. Something like that…

  9. The queue times have quite literally made 2v8 unplayable as a killer. I’ve sat in lobby as Billy waiting for a match for several hours combined and haven’t gotten a single match. Really ruins the fun of it.

  10. for shorter queue times bhvr could change the mode to 2v6 and remove the new remote hooking.
    give the survivors more classes for protective plays and killer interactions.
    maybe this way the modes can perma co exist

  11. Now this might be a bad take but idc i'm saying it, what if, and hear me out, they just make it so you can't queue with your friend on killer? Would that help? Maybe. It'll def help with that killer duo who's going around slugging in a gamemode since the devs won't stop them.

  12. As this situation keeps going, I feel very strongly that Survivors should receive an XP bonus incentive in addition. I don't think any more Bloodpoints is going to have a noticeable impact.

  13. Id say give each killer based on pick rate different blood point bonuses this way less used killers are rewarded for being picked and it would help with que times as it would help with the double stacking issue of ppl wanting to use stronger killers

    Both sides should always be getting bp bonuses at all times with the larger amount being the less played side but both should get a chance to earn more at all times instead of just the base amount

  14. There's no amount of bloodpoints that can measure up to the fun of playing killer with a friend. You've got to give survivors a CRAZY reason to play, I'm talking iri shards are special survivor cosmetics or more visually engaging abilties for the survivor classes.

  15. I wouldn’t say that que times were introduced when the game was massively survivor sided. I could be wrong but I think the gen kick meta has been in place already.

  16. I'm not enjoying this mode as survivor at all. It probably would be fun if I had enough friends to play with, but with randos…just no. I agree though, it's fun as killer with a friend, but yeah….queue times.
