  1. One thing that could be done for specific killers is granting them points for doing specific things with their powers. Such as for huntress points could be granted for landing long range shots, we can define this by where the survivor was at the time, either outside of the terror radius or the lullaby. Or points could be awarded for only using a killers power if it damages instead of using m1s, like a nemi or Pyhead only going for power hits.

  2. I don't agree with the tunneled modifier. It gives survivors the power to take 2 points from killers, on demand. Give more incentives instead of punishments to other side. Like, +0,4 points for starting a chase 30s or less after hooking a survivor.

  3. I would love to see some modifiers around chases! Perhaps something relating to the number of times through a loop before using a pallet, or the number of pallets the killer can get the survivor to drop in x amount of time. Something like that would help discourage the "hold w" style of chases

  4. You need to have some sort of points system with the killers because rn, there's no incentive to not run like, Nurse, Spirit etc. If your whole point is having interesting games. Perhaps an idea is a sort of "Base points" system. Like say clown starts off with 6 points, but spirit has 1 or no starting points. Something like that would incetivize people who know those lower tier killers to run them as a sort of like, risky play because they knew they can get 5-6 hooks on them and the extra points would help them.

  5. Modifiers- itd be hard to track but maybe lose a point on killer if a survivor is slugged for a certain amount of time (half/ a quarter bar)
Survivor should get a point if they escape from the killers grasp (exclude ds, include power struggle flip flop etc)
+1 point as survivor or +4 as killer if you run an adept build( all 3 teachables, for stranger things cast use what used to be their tecahables) on that killer /survivor

  6. A modifier specifically for each killer would be nice, like, "a long ranged down with huntress, +2" or "2 downs with main event on trickster, +3". That would incentivise killers to do wonky shit. For survivor too, I don't know, something like "hot potato: drop a flashlight before going down and a teammate flashlight saves with that same item, +4 points" something dumb like that.

  7. maybe a modifier about using low amount of pallets, like " amount of time in chase/ amount of pallets used" and you'd divide that by something to bring it to the terms of the other modifiers.

  8. For Killer: Double Whammy Downing a survivor while carrying another survivor: +2 points
-Survivors can risk they're lives to save a wiggling teammate in order to get points, but it comes with a risk

For Survivor: Blessed Grounds All totems were cleansed/blessed by the end of the trial: +2 points
-Gives survivors another objective instead of just gens

For Killer: Bane of Boons Snuff out 3 boon totems by the end of the trial: +2 points
-Makes survivors think critically before setting up a boon

For Survivor: Showstopper Hit a CJ Tech: +3 points
-It would be cool to see in a tourney for style points

  9. If the first four hook states are on two or less survivors (-2 points), if you save someone during the endgame collapse and you both escape you get 3 points instead of 2,
As a killer if 3 or more survivors are alive when the last gen was popped you get 1 extra point for every two kills, if a survivor wiggles out the killer loses one point (incentivizes more dynamic and altruistic gameplay from the survivor side), cleansing all totems before the last gen is popped or more than halfway through gives the survivors 1 extra point, for the killer reaching the blood points cap in two different categories grants an extra point (deviousness doesn’t count) and if you max out the categories then you get two points or something like that and maybe the same for survivors

  10. What about some kind of modifier for blinding/stunning the killer in three different ways such as flashlight, flashbang, blast mine, head on stun, etc. This would incentivize survivors to use a wider variety of perks and give value to perks like blast mine that otherwise would never be used.

  11. Survivor:
Vault 5,10 times while in chase (+1,+3)
Successfully pallet save a teammate (+5)
    Cleanse a hex Totem (+2)
Stun the killer while in chase (+1) maybe .5
Remove yourself from the hook (+10)
    Go down 0,1,2,3 times (+3,+2,+1)
    Take a protection hit (+1)
Be in a continuous chase for 1,2,3, etc. minutes(+2,+3,+4 etc.)
Blind the killer at anytime (+1)
    Sabo save (+3)
    Miss a skill check (-2)
Unsafe hook (-1) (meaning they don’t get the “safe unhook” pop up)
Letting a teammate hit struggle on first hook (all survivors -5)

    Killer:
Successfully down a survivor within 15-20 seconds of starting the chase (aka chase music ig?) (+3)
Grab a survivor off any interaction (gen, window, hook save, locker) (+3)
    Kick a generator above 90% complete (+2)
Hit a survivor while carrying another survivor (+3)
I can’t think of many killer reduction modifiers lol
Also all values are just examples I’m not accounting for balancing issues

  12. Im gonna be cheering for your Elden Ring gameplay and take that path myself. Good to see you will get out of that viscious dbd circle and i hope alot of content creators will do the same.

  13. I actually thought your point system was going to be the more trash the perk you use and survive the more points you get. Obviously can only use one per point but do you go less points for more meta builds or risky high point dog shit builds?

  14. Rattle 'em : the survivors do 3/4/5 totems.
Hidden treasure: survivors open 3 chests or the basement chest.
Happy ending: all survivors get hooked in the basement at least once.
No mither: gain 1 perk point.
Low tier flex: play a low tier killer and somehow dominate.
What's a gen?: keep the first gen up while you get two or more hook states.
I'm a farmer: get max bps.
(How would hook states work with mori's/devour hope?)
    Wake up: Scott
    You need: to wake
    Up.

  15. i like the idea for 10 spendable points for perks but id suggest building the values around 12 points since the game is balanced around 4 perks
also a point modifier for chase duration could be cool too

  16. When I saw the perk point system, I initially thought that it was a "You get X amount of points for bringing X perk" kind of system, not where you have an X amount of points to spend.

E.g. bringing deadhard might give you 1 point tallying up to a final score whilst buckle up might give 5 points. Where the higher amount of points wins. I'm not sure if that's a better system or not though.

  17. Create a modifier with helping a Survivor that is being Carried by the killer.
    Something Like this:
Sabotage the Hook in a 7 Meter Radius of the killer carrying a survivor

And a Killer modifier could be:
Avoid a about to be sabotaged Hook.

This would incentivise a Playstile to Help your teammates when they're Carried, but Not Just braindead Sabotage to Farm Points. Because the killer can avoid the Sabotage Play when they See the survivor at the Hook and leave immediately to gain Points instead.

  18. Killer specific mods would be cool but that would be too much to track for the player, unless theres a list for each killer beforehand. But a good one would be like a quick down mod where if you down someone in the first 3 mins or 2 you get an extra point on the down

  19. As someone who can't just play one game I really don't get the concept of taking a "break" from one game to play another. When Elden Ring comes out only play DbD for and hour or two then spend the other four or five hours or however long you normally play DbD playing Elden Ring instead. I'm bouncing around between nine right now, that is games I devote a couple of hours two often, with another four or five that I'll get back to for short bursts of time intermittently.

I mean, I do understand that not everyone is like that but, well, if you enjoy playing a game I don't see why you'd just outright stop playing it for a while to solely play another game you enjoy playing.

From what I've seen of it so far I'll enjoy Elden Ring content. I might even pick up the game myself and add it to my list of games I'm playing off and on. Maybe I'll go back and finally finish up the last achievement in Dark Souls: Prepare to Die and finally install and play Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Maybe a lot of things… .

I don't really have any ideas for the tournament, but I do wish you luck with it.

    Thanks for the video Scott.

  20. Modifier idea: From the top rope – If killers start their secondary power from an elevated place, and land it on a survivor who's on a lower level, that's X amount of points. Probably wouldn't apply to huntress and regular-vomit Plague

  21. I think this is a really wonderful idea!! Ive personally always wanted to get into the DBD competitive scene but with how incentivized boring gameplay is and bans on so much stuff its been very discouraging to say the least. Im incredibly interested to see what comes of this! I think a point and modifier system will make tourneys not only more fun to watch but more fun to play too, i love it, cant wait to see more

  22. There should be some tech modifiers. Cj, 360, dumb tech. Have a modifier for cross map sniping for huntress and billy. Maybe 360 hits with huntress as well.
Maybe a “hide in plain sight” modifier for survivors where they hide in an easily seen spot but are not seen by the killer(this doesn’t apply if you wear super dark clothes, cosmetics should be easily seen)

  23. 26k+ bloodpoints earned +1 point | Taking protections hits + .25 points (a non whole number for this because body blocking a hook isn't always fun to watch, but a risky play is.) | not bringing an offering: +2 killer, +1 survivor (whole survivor team mustn't use an offering) | specific killers gain specific points, i.e. : huntress not reloading until all hatches are gone, but hit every hatchet in her ammo pool +1 point, trapper traps a random place not in front of loops / windows / pallets, and trap traps someone +1 point, if nurse blinks and pulls someone off a generator (not window or pallet) +1 point, wraith downs someone while being uncloaked entire chase +1, hillbilly chainsaw hits survivor after 15+ seconds of use +1 point, Myers pulls someone off a generator in tier 1 +1, 3 hag traps trigger on the same survivor within 2 seconds of the previous +1 point, all survivors madness 3 while a survivor is being carried by the doctor +1, downing 2+ survivors in one chainsaw sweep +1 (if he downs 3 survivors gain an addition .5 points, 4 survivors, total of +2 points), freddy teleports to a generator and downs a survivor within 3 seconds of teleport +1 point, if pig has 3 traps on survivors heads, gain +1 point gain another if 4 survivors have traps on their head (iri addon excluded from said points), if clown speeds himself up to pull a survivor out of any action excluding unhooks +2 points, if spirit pulls a survivor off a generator +1 point, if legion has all survivors in the deep wound state +1 point (max 3), of plague has all survivors fully sick +1 point if plague has all survivors sick and doesn't use her power to down them +5 points (must have all survivors be sick, all survivors must be hooked for +5 gain, the idea is to make her more fun to watch considering most players don't like her play style), if ghost face gets 3 survivors fully marked in one night shroud +1 point (max 3, stalk progression cannot be larger than 1/4 of total stalk before night shroud) if Demogorgon disrupts portal cleanse and injures said survivors within 10 seconds of teleporting +1 point, if oni downs 2 or more survivors in his power +1 (increased by .5 for each survivor downed after that, must be done in one power), if deathslinger reels someone off a highground +1 point (max 4), if pyramid head injures 2+ survivors in one judgement +1 point (max 4), if blight uses 5 dashes and downs a survivor +1 point (max 3), If the twins downs a survivor while victor is on another players head +2 points ,if trickster injures 2+ survivors in one main event +1 gain +.5 for each additional survivor injured during one main event, if nemesis tentacle hits a survivor and a zombie injures them during their speed boost +1 (max 4). if cenobite finds the box 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 etc times +1 point, if the artist his more than one survivor with 3 crows +1 point +.25 for every survivor hit additionally (max 4). This would make killers use their powers in more interesting ways, some killers dont have that much of an interesting power to begin with so the ideas there are limited (myers, hag, freddy) but adding this stuff would make the killers have way more incentive to play other killers to gain specific points for different teams, and maybe even make some of the better killers not want to be played as often since they don't have that much of a bonus when on said character.

  24. I like the point system for perks. However, I think it would be better to just say, each survivor can only use 1 perk from each of these Category’s, and one 1 per team.
Per your example a survivor can only run one of your 6 point perks. So they either get Dead Hard, DS, CoH, or BT. And only one survivor per team can use each one. Cause I feel like even though you set up a point buy system I still feel as though a survivor team would most likely just have 4 Dead hard, or DS.
