  1. I think the most deceiving one was Pinheads actual teasers. They knew we wanted FNaF so they kept making teasers that could work with both Hellraiser and FNaF. The biggest example was the static TV with 1987 on it

  2. The many Pinhead teasers where the most deceitful in my opinion
The whole build up to pinhead was handled very similar to how fnaf teased its new games
    Hidden letters, cryptic images
    Then the video teaser itsself
Old monitor with a vhs tape revealing static and the year 1987

Yes it's obviously the TV from the first hellraiser
    But why the vhs tape??
There weren't any vhs tapes in the first hellraiser
They coulda easily just had the TV pop on No tape needed
Tapes were quite prevalent in the most recent fnaf game where you had to collect them all to reveal the story
Much like how we were collecting letters to reveal the killer at the time

  3. You know what sucks is that I got DBD do to payday 2 as in there you need to join the DBD steam community group to get some mask and own the game to get even more mask. Now I know it sound lame but mask in payday are everything. But when I got dbd it had nothing for payday 2. Not even a charm or anything

  4. Many will argue that FNAF fans reached too much with the Pinhead stuff. But when you look at how they teased Pinhead, they did it in the many ways Scott would’ve teased stuff or gave lore hints for future games (image brightening, deciphering, opening something as simple as an account icon and a specific year

  5. I remember thinking the twins chapter was either until dawn or the witch from left4dead.

    Was such a disappointment.

Then the pinhead teasers were wild until we got the last teaser which was a pin planted on the fairground part of the church map.

Everything looked like it was a fnaf chapter till the last teaser.

  6. I'm surprised I didn't see the Pinhead teaser with FNAF. FNAF fans got really pissed with Behaviour for putting Hellraiser's release date in a television. It was so stupid. In my opinion Hellraiser would be a better chapter anyway and I'll always love Pinhead.

Don't get me wrong, a FNAF chapter would be sick. Who wouldn't want to see Willy A. running around chucking Survivors on hooks. Just saying that it was a teaser that got a lot of people riled up.

  7. A killer that rewinds time would be 1, overpowered because all the killer has to do is rewind time after a gen is complete and it would be set back to the point where the gen was before at x amount of time, and 2, incredibly hard to get everything to work right. A couple of examples of this would be doing anything with survivors, resetting the pallets, healing and mending timers, resetting gens back and much more

  8. The next killer is going to be Chucky abilities are when you down a survivor you can possess them, and then go around sabotaging generators and making hooks harder to release people from the only visual cue to tell if a survivor has been possessed is if their eyes are glowing.
For his other ability, he will be able to throw knives Also, when you are in the body of another survivor a survivor in front of you is injured you can strangle them from behind killing them it will have skill checks for the survivor he can try to escape, and if they can Chuckies spirit is released back into the doll

  9. I hear you with the Trickster thing but to be honest I think his teaser was actually kind of smart, it was pretty obvious he would've been some type of psycho who records his victims and as goofy as Ji-Woon is I think his overall personality fits the horror of dbd, it is not a classical movie horror style but a kind of new almost manhwa style of horror.

IMO teasers HAVE to be misleading in some way, otherwise there would be no hype around them whatsoever and not only it is a bad marketing move but it's kind of sad considering the community loves to speculate about lore and such and that is one of the things that brings the community closer and invested!
