Skinwalker killer?
These audio files only confirm one thing for me, the killer is certainly a gyatt.
It honestly kind of makes sense to move the lunar new year event back. The Christmas/New Year and Lunar New Year events were basically back to back. This gives them more time to breath and plan between events. That said I'm hoping they still give us some themed lunar new year skins. A dragon Oni skin would have been really cool.
I don't usually listen to my gut, but something tells me this next chapter will be one of the best implemented chapter they've ever made, as in there will be basically no bugs, but will bring a killer that some people find annoying while the other half of the community finds fun to play against

I'm mainly only disappointed that we didn't have a lunar event just because of the points. Im all down for new modes tho
I personally think that the new survivor coming with the killer is the main character in the story teaser. The girl whose perspective we are seeing at the diner. They didn’t state her name or her looks so they obviously wanted her to remain ambiguous. Not only did she escape this skinwalker, but she got trapped in the diner unable to leave, most likely this could be when the fog swoops in, to take her and the shapeshifter into it. Also the map is probably Green Peaks, as that is where this is all happening(Judging by the ladies post and names on the audio recordings). It’s just my take on things though
We need an event with BP. Sucks they didn’t bring in the lunar event. Was looking forward to it.

This doesn’t seem like aliens and multiple killers. Understand the watchers leak was different from the story leak. The story is clearly one creature mimicking the voices and words it heard. Ashley’s form was slumped against a tree stump so I think she’s dead. The other figure was the monster. The audio also sounds like one monster. I don’t think it’s the watchers.
The story sounds similar to one I heard on TikTok about a 'skinwalker' incident. A worker taking out the trash and hearing/ seeing who they thought was their friend, but wasn't. This would be a cool idea, though I wonder how this will work in dead by daylight. If they brought a skinwalker in, would they be able to shift into survivors? And if not, what would be its power?

My immediate thought: The "Death Angels" from the film: "A Quiet Place". Or, the Jütunn creature from the film: "The Ritual" (folklore horror; my favorite). DbD could be clever enough to appropriate a creature from one of Zdzisław Beksiński's hellscape paintings (the nightmare artist; Polish painter).
Whats kinda interesting to me as someone whos done a little bit of digging for info about blood moons, we are actually getting an IRL blood moon towards the end of March. And there are a ton of mythology things worldwide of what the blood moon means my favorite one i read being that a jaguar attacked and tried to eat the Moon.

I've thought about the new event alot lol unfortunately the blood moon doesn't always fall on march the next march blood moon is next year but there's 3 annual things it could be based on the worm moon ,the spring equinox, or because pegans celebrate an Easter kind of holiday on the spring equinox maybe a dbd egg hunt sense the only eggs in the realm would come from crows

You are getting more hacker because of the lower player base. It seems them and sweaty players are the only ones who play the game anymore. Really wish this game would take a less competitive approach. Because it has literally brought out the worst in all players. With them always nerfing something I paid money for and I feel like my product is cheapened
