  1. Honestly I love this killer, I'm super excited for her to come out. Probably going to be one of my favorite killers in the game. The only thing I'm iffy about is the name The Artist, it just seems like they wanted to incorporate the ink arms, but couldn't figure out how to make a power around art. I still really love this killer though.

  2. Couple of fun things worth noting about The Artist's power:
    A) If you don't use all your crows, the cooldown is much less punishing. If you're confident, using only one and going for an accurate hit will pay off more. Equally, leaving crows idle until they dissipate will give you the power back almost immediately. Managing those nuances with the charges and finding the best way to use them in any given situation is going to be key to mastering her.
    B) One of the best uses for using all three charges is to use them as traps at loops instead of as projectiles – if you run shack smart, you can block all three exits and by the time the survivor has ran into a crow's head and gotten swarmed, you nearly have the power back up to go for a ranged hit if you need it.

  3. I am not a huge fan of the killer yet, but I think that is because of my limited play time with her. I think she is a killer that is going to take a bit to figure out and play at a high level. Her perks though I really do like. The scourge hook I feel replaces Pinhead's generator blocking perk, and her new hex perk I feel like could become one of the strongest perks in the game if used correctly. I feel it is a lot like devour hope. In some games it will not work well and be fairly useless. But, if you get it to work in a game it could be so oppressive that it just ends the game for survivors. That's just my initial opinion though. I am curious to see how thoughts and playstyles evolve with this killer as she makes it into the game.

  4. Her rekindled totem perk might see a nerf. Having 30% slower gen progress for having a single rekindled totem is far out and ahead of other slowdown perks. Because the broken totems are highlighted for the killer you can easily sneak one in an area near a completed gen, making it less likely for survivors to pass through the area again to scout it.

  5. I really hope she ain’t clunky to play on console. There’s a reason I don’t play Trickster. I am just glad she is a 115 killer so at least till I get used to her power I can use STBFL

  6. Is the hit validation of each launch from Birds of Torment instantaneous, or is there a delay/pause? I'm curious to know if you can line up a set of birds aimed towards a generator across the map (which set off an notification via Discordance and/or Tinkerer), and hit the same survivor multiple times; first to tag with crows, second to injure, and third to possibly down them. If that's possible, my butt-cheeks would be in constant clench mode while repairing a generator.

  7. Damn she seems so intersting and strong as well

But I don't get her power. When do the crows injure someone and when to they like… "infect" them? I guess they injure, when a survivor has crows around them but I I'm right, Red downed survivors with crows that weren't "infected" by crows at that time. I'm just confused man

  8. The new killer looks like she will be a lot of fun to play. The name bugs me though. Like, what does being an artist have to do with the crows? It’s like her and Trickster have nothing to do with their names.

  11. A couple things: 1) why does she break pallets with both of her legs one at a time, looks really funny. 2) Seems like there's something missing from her kit after pinhead who had the box which added an extra survivor element. Seems like she's as close to an M1 killer you can get without that actually being true. Somewhat underwhelmed.

  12. You can tell The Artist was most likely inspired by moded DBD games where survivor skins were used on tall killers bodyframes. There was a particular one where Laurie Strode had an elongated neck with slender limbs. It was both hilarious and actually disturbing lol
