  1. It's kinda unfair that you cleanse and then bless at the same time of the Hexes. It should take double the time or cleanse it and then bless or skill check. Also, killers should be able to kinda get back their Hexes, it's not like boom cleansed and forget.

  2. So killers can't even destroy these? You're telling me that survivors can have uber powerful perks like this and the only downside is it's within a certain area and you need to take like 5 seconds to activate? Which actually makes it even more powerful because you have full control over where this area of effect is placed, unlike hex's which can cuck you by placing them in perfect line of sight from every angle. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO THIS GAME?
Edit: Okay you can deactivate them, but then they can just be reactivated, unlike hexs.

  3. Everyone is crying over the boons haven't played at all. It takes 2 seconds to get rid of they are easy to find and thrill of the hunt is a straight up denial of boons, you guys need to relax and stop overreacting. It's always the same shit anytime something new comes out both sides bitch and moan 🤣 it's like clockwork. After several games on ptb these don't really change things too much. And if you as a killer actually let 4 boons pop up just uninstall your game bc thats just sad. Yell need to chill and actually go play the game for yourself to see shit

  4. Sad for the killer nerfs but happy Plague and Trapper were buffed, especially Plague. She’s one of my favorite killers. Hoping they show other weaker killers some love with the next round of killer buffs.

  5. Now surv can cleanse your hex by applying a boon, hide within the specific area and heal without a medkit and without fear of ever being found. This forces the killer to cleanse the boon, but then the survs can reapply the boon.
Amazing. The killer essentially has more gens to deal with.

  6. I can already see multiple problems with the Boone totems. # 1 when you bless a hex totem it automatically takes it over and the killer does not get a notification it should either transfer it to another totem or when the killer stomps it out the hex for the killer reactivates. So the survivor has to make a strategic decision at that totem either cleanse it and get rid of the hex or bless it. # 2 you can use them infinitely it should be like the killers and be a one-time thing. # 3 the killer does not get a notification when you bless a totem besides the sound they should also get a visual notification like when you cleanse a totem. # 4 it gives the killer another objective now they have to worry about totems and survivors it's a 4v1 they should not give the 1 more objectives.

  7. Disclaimer: I play 90% of my games as killer.

At the moment, I have two concerns: 1) the inability to permanently cleanse a boon totem – that is to say that it can be infinitely relit – and 2) being able to remove a hex and cleanse as a two-for-one.

To the first point, I don’t think that the killer should necessarily be able to take down a boon totem and poof you’ve immediately lost the use of one or more perks for the rest of the game. I’m looking for a middle ground that hopefully would be acceptable to the significant majority.

So, how about each boon perk starts with a set amount of tokens and each time a killer cleanses your totem you lose one token from each associated boon perk and any perk that has zero tokens is lost?

Here is a hypothetical perk build on a survivor:
Slot 1: Boon perk with 2 tokens
Slot 2: Boon perk with 1 token
    Slot 3/4: non-boon perks

If a killer cleanses the boon totem of this survivor, their first perk has one token left and the second perk has zero. After cleansing the totem again, they now have zero tokens on the first perk and have lost the second perk for the rest of the trial.

To the second point of blessing a hex totem, a potential mechanic that overrides the aforementioned mechanic: the survivor can either cleanse a hex totem as normal or add the blessing on top of the hex – it is now a blursed totem – so that the totem continues to convey the hex benefits (or fails to trigger in the case of retribution or haunted grounds) but also the boons. The killer can cleanse blursed totem, in so doing the hex benefits are lost AND the that survivor’s boons, regardless of tokens remaining, are gone for the rest of the trial. Likewise, any blursed totem may be interacted with by any survivor to instantly cleanse the totem, in such a case the survivor that blursed the totem loses one token per boon perk or loses any boon perk with no remaining tokens. ALSO, if there are no dull totems on the map, any boon totems can be affected by NOED (or other such endgame hex perks), becoming a blursed totem.

  8. Not a joke: boon effects stack. Meaning if you stay in the middle of 3 boon totems survivors will heal faster than killers can hit. Info from recent Zubat video

  9. The fact that Boon totems not only eliminate Hex totems, but can also can be reused once destroyed instead of losing the perk for the rest of the match like a Hex is absolutely ridiculous.
I hope that gets changed after the PTB to make Boon totems fall in-line as a true equivalent to Hexes, but I won't hold my breath.

  10. What really annoys me about this is that we know for a FACT that the devs are listening, because they're taking up ideas that we've SUGGESTED for killer in the past. Placeable totems, and the fact that they don't disappear. But nope, they give it to the survivors and give them possibly the most powerful buff in the GAME thus far.

It's so blatantly obvious that they're biased at this point because they simply cannot have not seen our outcry. Every day, being a killer main seems so much more unfeasible- one day, they'll just drive away a massively important player base, leaving Survivors to sit in their lobbies alone permanently.

  11. Before this update game was most balanced for killer in whole 5 years, know it is much worse, they are so blind or whatever to see that decent/good swf can win almost any games…..
