Elodie was immediatly saving the team and dipping, the game got to a point of 2 gen split either side making it difficult to commit to the end game and just get someone dead. Then Elodie has a pop at me for being mean.

More about Dead By Daylight:
A group of up to four survivors must elude one killer. The survivors’ perspectives are third-person, while the killer’s perspective is first-person. The survivors cannot fight against the killer and can only survive by running away and evading them. They must use obstacles in the form of wooden pallets, windows, and items that they either find inside chests or bring before the match starts to run from the killer for as long as they can. In order to escape, survivors must repair 5 generators scattered across the entire map to power the exit gates, then they must open the exit gates and leave the area themselves or find a hatch to jump into.

Jay is just too good! XD
This community is heavily brainwashed
It's the "cAn YoU eVeN wIn WiThOuT iTeMs?!" of this game.
Trying to kill 4 people makes you mean by default. What is she talking about? 😂😂
"You mean killer! How dare you not leave your only pressure against us! It's not fair!" 👶
dont have to be a mean killer?? whattt lol
Tbh the game is designed to be no fun for either side , if the killer tries to win it will be no fun for survivors and vice versa. Its a cat and mouse game of which there is no winning from both sides.
Bruh, I swear these people are paid across at this point
DBD needs to learn from evil dead the game. No chat. Just move on to your next game and learn from mistakes.
They were respectful enough in endgame chat but they just have a different opinion. Is it ok to have a different opinion?
Man face u seem like a nice guy but if you were to camp person after person it would be mathematically impossible for anyone to escape given the time it takes to do gens compared to time hooked the only reason people get worked up about it is it’s an easy way out for any killer who questions there own skill and it really is no fun for anyone having to sit there watching some random saddo staring at u on hook
Straight up, I will never fault a survivor for using BT or DS. These perks deserve to be top tier when they're a pushback on the strength of camp/tunnel, and largely these are areas of the game where gameplay/interactivity is the weakest and are the least fun for the survivors.
I do caution even criticizing the survivors' perks at all since it's not just "they're bringing the strongest" but that many of the lower tier perks straight up feel bad and don't get value in most games. Even if DH wasn't one of the strongest perks, what it offers (extending chase for more loop gameplay, chance to be rewarded for an "outplay") is much more interactive than the majority. I get it's the story of "they brought strong tools into the match so you shouldn't pity them as much, they were equipped to deal with what I did and it was their mistakes that allowed it" but imo that justifies them facing tougher killers more so than a match becoming focused on a game flaw (imo)
That being said the actual counter to camp/tunnel is comms/coordination, and the knowledge of the right thing to do, but it only takes a single solo survivor to leave it unanswered and result in a complete loss that is boring for the survivor side, this also making it easier to blame the whole team for their downfall because they couldn't keep up. When we're seeking to justify camp/tunnel we can end up applying it to so many situations where it's not actually the situation, but the events leading up to it.
I've heard both ends of "I have a three gen, it is their fault for leaving me with a three gen, of course I'm going to camp to control the area" and "my three gen is gone, and because they did well enough to avoid it, of course I'm going to camp to reclaim the match and secure some kills"
Another example of this would be during a facecamp where either "well they're not coming here for the save and just doing gens, of course I'm going to stay here to secure the kill" and "well they're approaching right in front of me and not doing gens, of course I'm going to stay here to secure the kill"
Then I would suggest that if we finally found a team who really could deal with it, complete the gens, coordinate rescues with multiple people at the right time to trade who is on hook to buy time or to throw enough health states in front of the killer such that they all make it out the gate, in this scenario we'd argue "look how skilled and coordinated this team was, of course it was justified to give me any chance at all". As a side note, not in any of your videos in particular but I've definitely seen other killers complaining that this is a showcase of how OP survivors are that they can just bully the "scary killer role" off the hook unable to do anything.
The reality is that the choice was made by BHVR to not remove it, and by the matchmaking system to pair someone willing to facecamp with a team not prepared beforehand to deal with it, after that it was kind of inevitable and somewhere around 0-2 mistakes/choices made by 1-2 players ingame could have led it to be this way, a facecamp followed by a team that loses to it. Once you're in the match, the killer can "choose" to facecamp for extra efficiency but the survivors can't really choose whether it happens or not beyond straight up not doing their objective and AFK and pray it doesn't happen (though some killers will just camp/tunnel anyways, and you would just be giving them the easy win too)
Going off of what you "should" do, imo the right thing to do is to only bring it out proportionate to how capable the survivors will be to deal with it, getting stomped for 4-5 gens being an obvious indicator for example, coordinated rescues, constant flashlight saves, even just strong looping (and yes, DH/IW/CoH does apply here, blatant BT/DS plays as well, though if they aren't blatant you probably won't know until you've already chose to lean intocamp/tunnel) . The more they display an inability to deal with the scenario the more you should look for "excuses" to stop or lessen it's impact, such as chasing one of the survivors who approaches the hook letting another come for the save. I obviously know this isn't the popular opinion and I understand everyone has the right to play how they want as long as they follow TOS because at the end of the day it's how BHVR has put out the game and said what is okay.
The individual in endgame chat seemed more disappointed than entitled imo. I really don't like the mentality that someone who is opposed is entitled. I acknowledge that the problem being in the game is BHVR's fault, and that everyone reserves the right to play the game how they want to, however I can simultaneously believe that camp/tunnel are bad for the game's health, and that in the majority of cases you "shouldn't" play in that way. We accept some of level of "my fun may conflict with your fun" because the net result should be everyone having fun in the long run, but I don't think that this excuses criticism if it starts to become disproportionate. If we look down on a survivor for voicing their opinion (which I don't think you were intending to do, besides a few remarks you were just disagreeing and defending yourself, but it's the general community message around these kinds of events and how it may be interpreted unless you are explicit otherwise) then imo it's the killer who feels entitled to never be criticized. They expressed their disappointment with how that match and suggested it "should" have been another way, but they didn't really attack you or make any personal insult, included gl next game to be courteous anyways, overall looking for sympathy rather than to put you down.
Overall I wish the community expressed and heard more of "Sorry about that, I understand you didn't have fun with that, I was just trying to have my share of fun as well by winning the match. I still hope your next match goes better and in a way that you prefer, I hope BHVR addresses it so it's not as frustrating" rather than "Don't tell me how to play, stop being entitled, you're ignoring my fun even though you were equipped to deal with the situation, you're what's wrong with the community "
As a killer main on Twitch these survivors are everywhere and so self entitled its hilarious
When they say "fair" they mean "gently".
A small tip for Wraith. The start of the animation for ringing the skull is the same for readying a swing. So if you tap it. It often tricks survivors who are looking at you into using their DH early.. Noticed you do not do that at all and just wait for them to do it. Its fine but some people will wait a very, very long time since they will for the most part only do it if they see a difference in animation.
Next time someone says play fair to you ask them is it fair in pro sports when one team is out playing another and they beating them by a ridiculous amount of points. Should the winning team let the other team have a chance to win? the answer is no always.
