Hello everyone and welcome to this video going over everything about the Hatch in Dead by Daylight. The hatch is the Survivors last hope of escape when a game starts going south. But there is a lot to know about the hatch that can give you the advantage in a game. I hope this video helps you out and thanks for watching. **As of Patch 4.7.0 both Skeleton Keys and Dull Keys only open the Hatch for 10 Seconds! Also depleted Keys do not open the hatch!

As of patch 5.3.0 the hatch only spawns when 1 Survivor is left. I will try to update the video when I can!**

  1. *As of patch 5.3.0 the hatch only spawns when ONE Survivor is left alive. No more finding hatch early! Also keys no longer open hatch instantly.*

    *As of patch 4.7.0 Skeleton and Dull Keys only open the Hatch for 10 seconds! Keys that have been depleted to 0 charges can no longer open the hatch*

  4. To understand how this works much much easier

    is if the number of generators left is equal to the number of survivors dead
    so if 2 generators are left and 2 survivors are killed by ANY means then the hatch will spawn, so if 1 generator is left and 1 survivor is left then it will also spawn; if there is 3 dead then hatch will always spawn and will additionally be opened for the last survivor.
    (hatch will spawn if the exit gates are powered so remember that as well

  11. here me out, My teammate was getting chased and I SEEN THE HATCH. She had no chance of living and I had no chance of saving her because The Trapper was face camping. Anyways, I hid until the entity got her. I REMEMBERED the hatch was in the next room over, so it opens, I head to the next room and it was gone!! Why lol?

I was on The Game and I couldn't find the hatch anywhere, and the rules were still intact, there was one gen left, I had a key and me and another survivor were trying to find it, but no matter where I looked, it was nowhere, but when jake died, michael was literally next to it and closed it. And i was still trying to look for it since I had a key and I couldn't find it so I tried to open a gate, Michael found me, I died and that was that. I think It was a bug or something because I scanned the entire map.

    In dead by daylight Mobile how many survivors can escape in hatch? if i open the hatch use key how many person can escape from hatch?
