  1. Long story short the reason save injecting is met with a permeant ban is because you can potentially be stealing money from BHVR by injecting shared for cosmetics. At the end of the day is mainly comes down to money and if people could just give themselves cosmetics they are just losing that money at that point. It isn't about game integrity as much as they might claim that it is.

  2. Save injecting means one can get everything for free, considering Carol had lied about "it was the 1st ban." I wouldn't be surprised if they lied about what they save injected, and since you can get everything for free, you're essentially stealing, which impacts behaviours revenue so of course from an objective standpoint save injecting is the worst offence one can make.

  3. I would've just hooked Ada and been done with it. Survivors hiding is nothing new and sadly they will get away with it bc its easy to blame the killer or say 'well my teammate should've done something.' / 'I was scared.' / 'I had a hatch challenge.' Survivors get way more excuses than killer does and I think the reasoning is that killer is supposed to b the 'person in control' if that makes sense. The killer's job is to find, chase, and kill survivors, while survivors r supposed to do gens, evade, and escape (if possible). Some ppl want to say that killers control the whole game and survivors have no way to combat them which is bs. I personally think all 3 ppl should have a ban and b done with it. Those survivors did nothing until they had to and the killer could've killed Ada when they found them. Just dumb behavior on both sides imo

  4. when i heard about this stuff, it honestly reminded me of what happened with me & YouTube back in the day. i use to do vlog videos, bur with audio only. and i was doing a review of a game i had just recently completed an episode on. then out of nowhere, someone flags my video. for reasons unknown, then i get a warning. then sometime afterwards i get suspended on YT. and my account was good standings to.

seeing this situation. it's totally fucked up, specially if the survivors who held the game hostage didn't get into any trouble. i do agree that i would of slugged those 2, and then maybe hooked them followed by a smack on the hook. BHVR does need to deal with the much more bigger issues though for sure

  5. He shoulda just hacked down Ada and gone on with his hunt.
Instead he acted a fool and got slapped down for it. Then it brought up the past actions where he was literally hacking items. Not surprised he is perma banned.

Just because there are worse hackers out there doing worse cheats doesnt mean his shit dont stink.

  6. but save injecting is just actually cheating, why does davood make it sound like he isnt an actual cheater? (not to say everyone else (transphobes, homophobes, racists, other cheaters, ect)) shouldn't also be banned as well

  7. Why should behavior have to go in and remove stuff from an account that basically has stolen content though? And yeah people make alt accounts but if someone is a known toxic griefer AND save injects regularly, punish them, ban the account that they let themselves get caught in, and make them do all that again on a new account that they will eventually fuck up and get themselves banned over again.

If I was a game dev and I was told "Hey this person save injected over a hundred addons on different characters that they didn't even buy, your next ticket is to go in and remove all these items and get it done before their ban ends next friday," wouldn't that fucking suck? I am not a game dev unfortunately so idk how easy or how hard it is to get these things removed but I would hate to have to expend any effort at all and then feel like I'm getting punished when the player who actually violated the rules of agreement, got off with 2 weeks of no dbd and a slap on the wrist.

  8. I once got a 2 day ban for farming with survivors since I just wanted to grab my red glyphs and move on, bhvr don't care.

If there are survivors not body blocked and the game is still able to end it shouldn't even be a bannable offense since it's not holding the game hostage, it's petty yes but bhvr could just make survivors able to walk through the killer when they have 3 crows if it's that big of a deal.

  9. Save injecting was something the great Noob 3 was banned for. He wanted his legacy 3 Nea back, which he lost because of a bug caused by behavior, btw and they didn't give it back, even after video proof showing he had it. If you wanna know about the Bug. There was a save file bug where it completely wiped your game back to basically a brand new account. It just kept your DLCs. This bug came back in the turtorial when it first came out where if you played the turtorial, you lost everything. The only way to stop this bug was to back up your game files, safe them on your pc, and reload it after the bug happened.

  10. my problem with this isnt the perma ban (that person perma ban evaded) its with the fact those 2 survivors prob didnt get the holding hostage ban when they where holding hostage first also about your comment about the racists and phobic people not being banned dont forget those who also send death threats

  11. This is just strange. It’s petty but it didn’t make the game impossible. I don’t think this was deserved. BHVR is so inconsistent istg. Sometimes they care about other details, sometimes they don’t. Always with a lack of context. The fact you can’t appeal bans or find out exactly what got you banned too is just plain dumb. I get it when it comes to hackers. If someone was hacking then yeah, don’t give them shit. But over in game mechanics that anyone with a single braincell could do or even accidentally do? Come on.

  12. The worst thing bhvr has ever done to dead by daylight was give out the game for free/put it on xbox gamepass. The game has horrible anti cheat and a more complex report system than most paid games, and still the company allowed hackers to get an inifnite supply of accounts.

  13. My interpretation of the situation is thus:

    >the two week ban was a given. BHVR is extremely petty and will take revenge on any instance of embarrassment. In this case, the spirit bodyblocking to hold Ada hostage, showing two flaws in the game system (a lack of contingency of both if a killer holding a game and survivors holding a game hostage). I don't think the survivors were in the wrong too much because it felt like they were just being scaredy pants, which sucks for the killer but doesn't mean the killer should be a shitter about it. I still feel that banning at all is a bit extreme for a one-off instance, but BHVR are, themselves, shitters. And they have the power to be as shitty as they want.

    >the permaban was pure revenge because the freecloe or whatever was trending and BHVR kept getting publicly humiliated so they looked into any possible excuse to exact revenge. it's not the first time they exact revenge, it's not the last.

  14. they cant tell what exactly you've save injected. they know obviously he save injected BECAUSE of the add ons on characters he didnt own, but they cant tell whether he save injected other things (iri shards for example) or whether he got those things legit. so just removing 60 of each add on isnt gonna solve the problem if they cant tell whether or not everything else was obtained fairly. also, its not bhvrs responsibility to fix your mistake. so saying they should take time out of their schedules to remove things by hand that you shouldnt have when they already have hard time fixing all the bugs in their game is a comepletely unreasonable expectation. just my 2 cents.

  15. They won't ban for what he did to the Ada, because as happened the other survivor is fine to finish the generator and leave. The only way they would is if the last survivor bled out and the hatch was open, only then would he be holding the survivor hostage. I know this might seem weird, but I was once held hostage by a killer just as that Ada was and BHVR directly told me that no, the killer will not be banned as the other survivor was able to finish the generators and open the exit gates, ending the game.
