  1. I changed that a while ago. I have item now on square and doing gens button etc on r2 and vaulting windows/pallets on r1. I cant use flashlights anymore but i never used them in the First place so yeah…

  2. BHVR watching this video: “yeah whatever”. Specially since they won’t even let console player use M&K like 99% of the other crossplay games. So, no, BHVR won’t do anything about it.

  3. Not only that but have you ever tried to heal your teammates on a pallet? Ever tried yo CJ tech and accidentally start healing your teammate instead of dropping the pallet and you get slapped in the fucking face because of it?

Get this, on console there is an option to change the buttons around but it’s completely greyed out. So the option is there but they don’t allow you to use it for some reason

  4. I've had the puzzle also spawn by a pallet and I had the prompt to pick up the puzzle but it vaccumed me to the pallet and made me drop it even though the puzzle prompt was still on my screen.

  5. What I don’t understand though why do survivors not just change the button layout?

There are so many unused buttons in dbd especially for survivors. When I first started playing dbd after like 5 times where I accidentally dropped a pallet while I was trying to heal a survivor under it, I instantly changed dropping, vaulting and entering to square (x on xbox) instead of R1.

It’s a easy fix there’s no need for the devs to do anything literally change it yourself. I mean behaviour literally solved the problem from the start by giving you the option to change the setting yourself, there’s literally nothing to complain about, but it’s scott jund so what can I expect.

  6. You can change the controls on console, I take out the chains with L1 and throw pallets and jump on them with X, it's also useful so you don't accidentally throw pallets when healing someone under a pallet

  7. I dont get why they went with the awful bindings depsite having 10 buttons they could use. was it so hard to have vault on A, and general interaction like removing chains, working on gens, etc on right bumper or whatever and then whatever other binds they have as default?

  8. just change the button. I did it when I started playing dbd because it was so annoying when you wanted to heal someone in the palette you dropped it instead of healing it. I changed actions to "a" and it's very convenient
    I'm playing on Xbox btw

  9. i dont get it. why can't console players just change the bindings? i played on console for over 1500 hours i dont get what the trouble is about. people say that bhvr binds so many things to one button but then y not change them?

  10. I like this community if this was any shooter game community (apex, warzone, fortnite) and the console versions had lag They would be like "lol buy a PC" or some other dumb shit but this community makes it aware so devs can see it (even tho bvhr probably won't do shit) I love this community ❤️

  11. My whole layout of my controller for ps4 is everywhere my L2 is running, R2 is crouching, R1 is to repair, remove chains, and mending, square is to vault and drop pallets, L1 is to use items and right button on the d pad is to drop items, circle is to do skill checks, and triangle is to activate secondary ability like making flashbang and dead hard

  13. Can confirm, bin playing for two years with default settings, after pinhead release I've now remapped my buttons to avoid the issue Scott talks about, but my muscle memory during an intense chase let's me down when I press the buttons from before I remapped 😂
