The chains aren’t breaking too quick. You’re just using them from too far away for it to be effective
This guy is chaining people while miles away from him and then says that “chains break too quick”. Obviously they’re going to be able to break out. Chain them when your close to them at loops.

Chains need to either take longer to break or have more chains to break
They should make it when u use his hook power on a full healed Survivor they are injured and they can remove tht add on

here's an interesting suggestion for Pinhead: every successful ability hit accelerates the lament progression of the person who got hit, and when the bar is full, chains will continuously appear and harass that person. Currently pinhead's main ability provides little value or sometimes negative value for the killer. There has to be more reward for using the ability.

Hi true i like the new killer but as always the devs are trash they always seem to keep as u say holding the survivors hands and giving us killer mains less than the bottom of the barrel the chains are useless they break almost instantly and dont get value from them cause of course the devs make it as hard as possible for killers to get anything done if they dont change the chains feature and make it were they dont break as quickly or even buff him alittle i will not be wasting money on another useless killer that cant even play against fairly good players its always the same old story they nerf the crap outta the killer cause in the ptb people go against crap players and they base it off that narrative and also as i always say the devs are swf friendly they aint fans of us killer mains specially on console im beginning to believe that with the way they are going about nerfing killers constantly they should just make them A.I and make it a survivor only game cause thats what it looks like to begin with and im extremely fedup of it i want to enjoy this game but it seems they just keeo giving us very very little and make things as hard as possible for killers so if they don't buff at least his chains and prolong the chains from breaking i will be completely done with this game im so sick of it with these trash devs and their biasm towards survivors i will always support your channel and like your honest views cheers mate 🥃
Honestly he just needs 2 changes. First 1 is of course breaking out of chains takes longer and he should get a windstorm affect after using his ability for like a second like wraith coming out of cloak to benefit more from landing his range hit
I remember Zubat saying he should walk towards the gateway when you use it.
One guy hold the box for whole match and tried to do a Gen solo. With all the chains going after him it took him about 2x the time to finish it. With Ruin it would be impossible, since the Gen regresses while you break free.
And maybe I would add another killer power like if you hit to the downed pallet, it takes damage. Second tim e you hit it breaks. BUt survivors can fast slide from pallets

The Distance you lose while losing the abilty is propaply equally or more then wehen the Survivor is trying to break the chain.
His abilty is sometimes just nonsense to use. The time and Distance you lose while using the abilty are kinda the same time and Distance you will win aftair hitting a Survivor with the abilty. Let's not forget the drawbacks when you miss with the abilty, way to much for a abilty that gives you littlerly nothing to gain the opper hand in a chase.. His counterplay is littlerly simple as fuck.. just jeep Distance and run close to objects, so he will bumb into it while using his power…
He need a buff.
