  1. A few little extra tips that might help when you're playing Red's playstyle IMO:

    1. You can see how much condemned a survivor has by the visual VHS-like 'glitches' on their character model. If you can see any at all, they're at least 3 stacks, and if they're really shimmering and blocky, they're much closer to 5 or 6 stacks and it's worth it to try to teleport onto them a few times if you can.
    2. TVs will only play the cursed tape if a survivor is within 16m range, otherwise they play static. This is like a mini-whispers. You can even hear this from the TV: if you hear low scary voices coming from the TV, a survivor is within 16m. Otherwise you'll just hear static. (Note: the video WON'T play if only one survivor is in range and carrying a tape)

    That's all, I've tried Red's style and survivors have commented on how effective it is! I really don't think it's too salt-inducing, especially since the goal is not to slug everyone at once and never hook or anything like that. This mindset makes Sadako scary 😈

  2. I love perk builds like this that augment the killer and doesn’t just give massive effects with little effort. Hopefully they add more chase perks because those are the most fun imo

  3. I really like sadako and after testing a few builds, the one I've had most success with is, Spirit Fury, Endurance, Pain Res, and Jolt.

    Basically don't have to kick gens and cuts time by regressing gens on a dowm and hook since she's slower. Spirit Fury allows you to get that hit where other wise the chase would be extended.

  4. It’s been said before, but merits repetition: much like knowing how collision works is crucial to playing Blight, knowing when to abandon a chase is PARAMOUNT for Sadako.
    Red hit the nail on the head when he mentioned that getting that first tap is her strongest suit. After that, see where the survivor is heading and think about a) what further value you could get from the chase, b) how easy that value can be obtained and if it’s worth the investment, and c) where the other survivors are at!

  5. And if there is one CoH then it falls apart, with exponential it is just gg pretty much.
    Not trashing your content, just trashing BHVR for their boon "fix" and releasing such a weak killer.

  6. Everytime I play like this, survivors rage, they don't understand this playstyle is the easier way to play Sadako, and get more kills, but oh well, guess I need to follow the survivor book hein?

  7. Hey Red! Have you seen Otz’s review on the upcoming changes to perks? What do you think? How do you think these changes will affect your videos? Will you be doing new 30 days to try out new perk combinations?

  8. Hey Red, I’m a Sadako/Demogorgan main. I have 2 builds for you to try. I’m curious to see how this turns out. It’s the Pentimento or NOED build.
    Killer = Sadako
    Hex Ruin
    Hex Pentimento
    No way out
    No one escapes death
    Addons = your choice
    If they cleanse your totems, then you have pentimento, if they don’t, then you have NOED

    Build Number 2 = Know Which portal to travel to
    Killer = Demogorgan
    Hex Ruin
    Surveillance
    Barbecue and chili
    Tinkerer
    Addons = Elevans soda and mews guts

  9. Jesus… SO you need almost 15-20 minutes of slugging to get 1 person condemned… Idk, it's not seem fun to me. xD
    Besides… I think you can comndemn them faster just by teleporting to near tv anytime they're running into, The iri tape addon is good for spamming tv's.
    But overall yea… She still need other things to get her condemned status stack, tv's and healing (addon) isn't enough.

  10. 11:38 she’s intermittently visible while demanifested. I always thought it was a dumb gimmick, but it can really help catch a survivor off guard when you catch em in groups and you wanna tag em all pretty quick.

  11. Red i tried this build on sadako and haven’t lost with it yet.
    Sloppy Butcher
    A nurse’s calling
    Tinkerer
    Call of brine
    The idea is to hit and run without losing that important gen defense. You also have to prevent them from healing at all times. The add ons are
    Ring Drawing and Bloody fingernails

  12. Quick question Red, is there a reason you wouldn't use knockout in a slug build to slow down the survivors picking up teammates and thereby creating even more slow down overall? Just wanting to pick your brain and get your perspective. Also, if you DID run knock out, which of the perks you used would you substitute it for and why?

  13. With Sadako i like to Run :

    Call of Brine
    Scourge Hook : Floods of Rage
    Dissolution
    Discordance

    Dissolution is amazing on her, since she is an M1 killer. Sometimes i switch discordance with Jolt and works very well too
