Hey everyone, today we’re going to be looking over your ideas for new Boon perks. A few days ago, I put out a community post challenging you all to come up with ideas for Boon perks. This was quite a tough one I feel, but there were some great ideas. Let’s get into it!

Chapter 22 has been released! With this chapter we have a new killer, The Artist, a new survivor, Jonah Vasquez, and a new map, Eyrie of Crows, part of the new Forsaken Boneyard realm. It’s great, and I’ve been having fun so far!

  1. Boon: Snake’s Coils
24 meter radius, basic boon stuff
While the killer is inside this boon’s radius, their aura is revealed to all survivors and their movement speed is reduced by 5/10/15%. Additionally, if the boon is broken by the killer, their aura is revealed for 3/4/5 seconds and they gain a 5% speed decrease for 5/10/15 seconds, but can see the aura of all survivors within their terror radius for the same duration.

  2. Hex: Rebirth
One per match allows the last Hex destroyed to reappear at a random location on the map after 100/90/80 seconds. As Boons evolve Hexes will need to evolve as well to keep them in check.

  3. Boon: iron man

Effect when entering the boons radius while injured, you gain the endurance status effect until you leave the boons radius. If you enter the boons radius while healthy and then get injured, ironman doesn't activate.

  4. Boon should break when you step on it period. Not snuffed so survivors can spam boons. It's like if killers could spam hexes. Also it make no sense for a bone totem to just be snuffed after stepping on it instead of breaking like bones would do IRL.

  5. BOON: 4 leaf Clover

You randomly found a 4 leaf clover on the ground but its almost withered but you decided to keep it anyway.

Once blessed on a Dull or Hex totem near a hooked survivor, the hooked survivor gained 15/20/25% luck to their escape attempt every 15 seconds on the hook. Once successfully unhooked yourself, you gained the endurance status effect for 7 seconds

Just came up with this it like a self borrowed time

  6. I got a list of perks (only two) that I came up with
    1. (Whatever u wanna call it)
If a survivor is on a hook all the other survivors suffer with the oblivious status effect when the kill is more than 20 meters away from the hook.
I think this would work well because it encourages the killer to leave the hook and give survivors a chance to save their teammate, and the killer would have an easier time getting close up to survivors without them knowing, plus it encourages the survivors to get rid of the negative effect on them.
    2.
Whenever you hook a survivor you gain a token, each token increases you vault, damage, breaking speed by 1%,2%,3%.
If you hook the same survivor two times in a row then you lose a token (to prevent tunnelling)
I feel like it’s great because at the start of the match you start weak but get stronger as the match goes on, kinda like the perk fire up.
I also think it would work great with bamboozle and fire up as near the end of the match you could cut down the time it takes you to do simple things like vaulting and breaking pallets

  7. Boon: Skill Check
Soft chimes ring out in a 24 meter range. Survivors in the boons range gain these effects:
    – Good skill checks are converted into great skill checks. Great skill checks yield 5% more bonus progression.
-Miissing a skill check regresses the action by an additional 20/15/10 percent. Cannot be prevented by other perks. (Bite the bullet/Technician)
    – Removes the skill check warning sound.

"We've been doing this for years, guys! We should be extremely proficient at it by now!"

  8. Only issue with the trap boom one that stun and show aura isn't that boom can be place on their own totem but all boom stacks together, so if you use the current 3 with this, you have a super strong area and the killer is punished for taking it out, which is insanely strong

  9. Boon: continuance
When a survivor is hooked within 10 meters of this boon and the killer is within 10 meters of this boon the entity progression is blocked until the survivors is unhooked or the killer leaves the range

  10. Hey Azhy,i got a theory, you know how in the trailer in which the trapper is in we see some survivors who aren't in game? What if they are the people who's names are written on perks that don't have a owner? Random example: Dark Sense

  11. Boon: Stunlocke
If the killer is within 25/36/40 meters every 5 seconds, the killer gets stunned for 4 seconds
The stun is decrease by 1 second overtime and gives 30 seconds cooldown when left in the range
