Yeah no downtime editing is definitely preferred unless there's something going on such as a survivor following you or a sabo; even if that diversion doesn't really change the gamestate and you walk to hook without getting a hit. (Playing around a failed sabo save or a potential breakout is still intresting gameplay imo)
Nice
I say it depends on if you're saying something. But if you're just picking up, and have no other ideas to say, I say edit it. But if something was to come to mind, and you were to say, I would rather keep in the downtime.
I feel like a mix of both would be the solution. Show hooks that happen early on in game. Edit down the one’s that aren’t impactful, like game ending hooks after slugging 1 or 2 survivors then the extra footage doesn’t really detract from the overall gameplay viewing experience but allows for time editing. Great vids so far, been watching for a few weeks now, keep up the good work.
Please don't cut these things, I prefer a whole game video
Tier 4 Myers
Bamboozle
Brutal strength
Fire up
Superior Anatomy
Add ons
J. Myers memorial
I prefer no cuts because things happen like gens going off survivors putting a boon totem up and when it cut you dont see/know that happen
I prefer editing but pregame starts when you tell about perk and his power, but chase please no edit)
I enjoy uninterrupted gameplay. Dbd is a game designed to make seconds count. I lose a sense of the flow of the game when it’s edited.
I think I prefer to just leave it all in, when it comes to editing. I watch your vids for entertainment, but also the learning experience. And sometimes I like to see if I see something you didn’t see, which probably would most likely occur during a carry and hook phase.
Trickster is one of the funniest killers
Yes .edit the hooking time . and maybe kicking gens or reloading as well if want to .
Prefer to keep all the parts, for a noob killer like me I'd like to see how you look for survivors and how to plan and manage ur route.😁
Edit off only the end game hooks. There are intricacies in mindgames, pathing and some decision making during early game hooks that I like to see
Really enjoy the commentary and watching the whole chase, hearing how you know here people are and why you switch off from one person to next. So no editing!
I enjoy your edits they are always smooth and not jarring or take you out of the video, that being said I don’t mind if you don’t edit out either.
I’m just happy to see your videos ❤️
No downtime! Take the time to explain what's going on in your head. The more time to learn from, the better.
maybe speed up downtime instead? Some map might be confusing and lose track of position.
I like editing out hooks because nothings gonna happen that we don’t already know
I prefer both when you edit the hooks and when you take them there, reson is why you're slugging I don't want to see you hook them all. However if it's just one person down, I can happily watch that.
I prefer watching the whole game even picking and hooking because I can see the whole play style
I appreciate seeing full games as it shows importance of timing and helps me learn alongside watching the video. Thanks for giving us content to watch almost everyday!
I personally like how you've been editing out downtime, there's often enough shown downtime that extra you edit out makes videos nice, fast and snappy so I say keep doing it how you've been doin it!
I always thought tricksters power went away if you missed the first shot during the main event 😮
Feel like it depends. The edits are clean and it does keep the game flowing especially with sneaky survivors and whatnot. On the other hand though I think I kind of like less editing because you usually explain what you're doing from hook placement to the ideas you're having on searching for the survivors, the counting survivors in your head, etc.
i much prefer the downtime editing, i feel like it keeps the video smooth since only the essential parts are being shown
I like it when you edit out the end game hooks.
that ending made me sub to you XD fake opening closet made me laugh so hard XD
I don't mind you cutting to the end when you have all four survivors down but I do like seeing you carry the survivor to the Hope especially when they have certain perks like boil over and things like that
Taking out the times where nothing interesting is happening would be ideal. Only do that if you feel like it though. No need to feel pressured to overwork yourself.
if we can see the hook you're takin g them to before hand skipping is appreciated but sometimes watching the routes you take to specific non scourge hooks or information you're tracking while carrying a survivor is nice to know.
The editing is done nice but I think it makes the video look too choppy and quick
I love how you are very patient with your blades! Really interesting gameplay/playstyle
Showing some hooks now and then helps us see different routs that can be taken and improve on time. I'm still fairly new so I appreciate seeing the hooks.
I enjoy watching you hooking and your thoughts about why to hook at certain places.
I like the No down time editing as long as nothing is happening during the carrying survivor part.
I like the carry too, the thinking in motion..
I prefer not seeing the hooking etc cause I struggle to concentrate on anything that isn’t engaging to me personally
Trickster is the only killer i’ve ever disconnected against Id rather play against spirit
To answer your editing question, I don't mind seeing the extra footage since it's usually not a significant portion of a video's overall length, but I do appreciate removing the footage if there's nothing much to see. I think a god criteria for removal would be if you have impactful comments that you feel would help viewers understand the game better so they can improve while playing, but aside from that, yes, feel free to remove empty space.
