  1. Yeah no downtime editing is definitely preferred unless there's something going on such as a survivor following you or a sabo; even if that diversion doesn't really change the gamestate and you walk to hook without getting a hit. (Playing around a failed sabo save or a potential breakout is still intresting gameplay imo)

  2. I say it depends on if you're saying something. But if you're just picking up, and have no other ideas to say, I say edit it. But if something was to come to mind, and you were to say, I would rather keep in the downtime.

  3. I feel like a mix of both would be the solution. Show hooks that happen early on in game. Edit down the one’s that aren’t impactful, like game ending hooks after slugging 1 or 2 survivors then the extra footage doesn’t really detract from the overall gameplay viewing experience but allows for time editing. Great vids so far, been watching for a few weeks now, keep up the good work.

  4. I think I prefer to just leave it all in, when it comes to editing. I watch your vids for entertainment, but also the learning experience. And sometimes I like to see if I see something you didn’t see, which probably would most likely occur during a carry and hook phase.

  5. Really enjoy the commentary and watching the whole chase, hearing how you know here people are and why you switch off from one person to next. So no editing!

  6. I enjoy your edits they are always smooth and not jarring or take you out of the video, that being said I don’t mind if you don’t edit out either.

I’m just happy to see your videos ❤️

  7. I appreciate seeing full games as it shows importance of timing and helps me learn alongside watching the video. Thanks for giving us content to watch almost everyday!

  8. I personally like how you've been editing out downtime, there's often enough shown downtime that extra you edit out makes videos nice, fast and snappy so I say keep doing it how you've been doin it!

  9. Feel like it depends. The edits are clean and it does keep the game flowing especially with sneaky survivors and whatnot. On the other hand though I think I kind of like less editing because you usually explain what you're doing from hook placement to the ideas you're having on searching for the survivors, the counting survivors in your head, etc.

  10. I don't mind you cutting to the end when you have all four survivors down but I do like seeing you carry the survivor to the Hope especially when they have certain perks like boil over and things like that

  11. if we can see the hook you're takin g them to before hand skipping is appreciated but sometimes watching the routes you take to specific non scourge hooks or information you're tracking while carrying a survivor is nice to know.

  12. To answer your editing question, I don't mind seeing the extra footage since it's usually not a significant portion of a video's overall length, but I do appreciate removing the footage if there's nothing much to see. I think a god criteria for removal would be if you have impactful comments that you feel would help viewers understand the game better so they can improve while playing, but aside from that, yes, feel free to remove empty space.
