IMPORTANT NOTE: The original people talked about in the video have settled their differences, this video was recorded, edited and uploaded before they announced they no longer have beef, however the overall discussion around whether or not bleed outs are considered holding the game hostage is still a valuable form of discussion and that is what this video is mainly about.

  1. so, for the bleed out situation for adept. it doesn't help towards that goal. you literally have to 4K if you're adepting a killer. i've gotten conformation from BHVR themselves, and also experienced it as well.

as for bleeding out people. it shouldn't be reported, but rather called out perhaps. if it's early game & the killer is bleeding people out, then i'd say it's acceptable to call'em out for it. but if it's end game well. it's kind of a different story. i'd say it'd even go for those who wanna run to deadzones just to prevent the hook kills. hence why we're getting the hook respawn function in this newest update. and honestly. i think that's a good thing

  2. If it is cringe to slug for a 4k is it then equally cringe if you as a killer had a match where nobody died and during the endgame you down somebody and the other 3 survivors do everything possible to get a 4 man escape? At this point they should just bring hookgrabs back and remove the hatch mechanic.

  3. The only thing that I am sure about is that the Fog Whisperer could be removed from the Fog Whisperer program for making threats like that.

Also, no, bleeding out should not be reportable or bannable in and of itself. Sometimes it is the only option. Luckily with the hook resets coming, it will or should be less of an issue.

  4. When I watch killers, I don’t understand why they don’t bleed teams out if all 4 are slugged: if none of them are running Unbreakable, they’ve lost. Meanwhile if you pick them up they could have Decisive Strike, Flip Flop & Power Struggle, Boil Over. And if you hook them they could have Deliverance, or Wicked.

  5. Ill be honest I have not played DBD since the BS gen regression limit, I just dont like survivor gameplay and the regression limit was the last straw in nerfing killers into the dirt for me. I say this to let you guys know my opinion might be a little outdated. The issue with bleed outs is contextual, if you can get someone to a hook and your choosing to bleed them out instead then your an ass not breaking any rules but your an ass. There is however a long list of reasons a bleed out is basically required, bully swfs sending you to a map with no cover to pick people up then abusing the hell out of flash lights, maps with large constant dead zones, Decisive strike baiting, Head on spam, losing to much time to gen rushers, those are just the one I can think of off the top of my head. To me this slugging/bleed out complaining is exactly what ruined the game for me, toxic whinny survivor mains complaining their asses off and demanding to have a constant advantage at all times despite needing to be weaker for an isometric game to work. This game used to be so much fun but toxicity has just run it rampant affecting everything down to the balance of the core game.

  6. I use spies from the shadows I can easily find the 4th so yeah Ima slug to get my 4k. I want it. If you think how I play a game is based on my personality then you my guy are the problem. So because I I like to play killer I must have a level of crazy since hes saying how I play must determine what kind of person I am. If you wanna slug for the 4k slug.If you wanna be pig and head trap slug and 4 man bleed out why not youre a killer youre role isnt to be nice its to kill survivors in anyway you can. If 4 man bleed out is your fun then okay. To each there own say it cringe but dont judge their character when you dont know them based on a game where it wants one role to make the other suffer. Some actually wanna do that.

  7. some archive challenges litteraly require 4k. And hatch litteraly punishes you for not slugging the 3rd survivor. Again killers get blamed for something that is a design error on devs side. Either find something else to the hatch mechanic OR just stop making 4k challenges. I dont care much about how many sacrifices i get as a killer, but i do care about completing the tome challenges.

  8. I feel that if they keep running back into the dead zone after I can’t reach the hook just because they know I can’t hook them im just gonna down them in their corner and leave them there so they can’t help their team.

+ then one more has to waste time walking into dead zone and help them up. Though if you down 3 ppl and they lay in the same dead zone corner it’s not me bleeding them out… its themselves.

If you just slug to slug and never hook that I imagine be pretty boring.

  9. the thing I saw being kept out of this dicussion a lot by other creators was that, it was on the ANNIVERSARY EVENT, how can you be invested in getting a 4k so much but at the same time not care to pick up invitations to get remote hooks wich are a huge advantage, it could 100% be avoided by the killer

it was a really shitty behavior but it shouldn't be bannable as well(the whisperer had worse behavior), if Behaviour doesn't want bleedouts they can add something like giving up on hook to downs

all the "toxic" killer playstyles can be used as tools to counter certain bad survivor plays
-camping counters survivors not respecting you near the hook and not waiting you to go away
-tunneling counters when people try to use the endurance to body block instead of running away
-slugging couunters people trying to pallet or flashlight save, and not having hooks nearby

when those tools are abused to make the game less fun it's Behaviour's job to put mechanics in place to avoid that and not to ban the players

  10. I mean some survivors will report you for slugging when 9/10 they are the ones causing that issue. They deliberately run these hook sabo builds and boil over so you can’t do it and they get upset for not you not bothering to hook them. It’s a wild cycle.

  11. I just submitted a clip of me slugging the last survivor. I was going to let him wiggle out and have another chase after I close hatch. Of course RNG decided to spawn hatch underneath him but slugging for the 4K is incredibly unfun for everybody.

  12. Something else about bleeding out survivors is that some ppl quite literally just force the killer into a situation where they have to bleed out. Such as sabo squads. Or those boil over squads. There's a few gameplay styles survivors do to prevent the killer from killing and bleeding out is the only option. Sure those styles are rare, but they happen

  13. If bleeding everyone out had no bleed out timer, i could MAYBE see it as a bannable thing, but BHVR would add the timer eventually meaning that it would be pointless to ban someone over a feature that's built in the game.
