I have to ask if that rare node thing is actually true? I have a prestiged character and I have not noticed anything. I even feel like people thought this was true but DBD people themselves never actually confirmed this. I know websites that any person can put info on like Wiki says sure it’s possible but have the Devs actually said their is any REAL benefit to doing this?
I only ask because I want the cosmetics but does not seem worth it if it is not true. I also like having all my perks at tier 3 in my character making it fun to mix perk builds.
Prestige is just bloody cosmetics lol

Interesting overview but the sound effects are too loud and annoying. They are destracting from your voice.
longtime player here, i just wanted to leave a short answer just in case. it is ONLY worth it if you want the bloody cosmetics or if you just have too much time on your hands. If you have everyone maxed out at lvl 50 then might as well but if not, avoid prestiging. all in all, doing prestiges should be an endgame thing only if you have everything that you really want to do, done. the difference is minor and you can use the bloodpoints you would be using on prestige for other survivors to get their teachable perks. but if you really just want atleast one character p3 lvl50 then yeah that works too!
I only prestige because it gives me something to do Since the game gets boring quick so prestiging will give me something to do so I’m not running the same builds and playing the same character all the time
I prestige on the characters I love to play because I like the idea of having an outfit you can only get through playtime.
There is no difference in the item you get I have all levels available and can see no difference it's just a status thing. Now re leveling I noticed a difference you do get better stuff but at 50 I really can't tell a difference

My journey is basically Claidette and Michael P3 Lv.50 and all other characters Lv. 40 for the teachable
The increase of rarity on your bloodweb is not noticeable at p3.
I do it for the bloody costume and I feel like it toxic for some reason

So far only been trying to prestige Myers (got game to play for/against him as a form of PTSD therapy). Good to know regarding purple/red add ons since they are game changers for him.
I by accidently p1 my Meg when I was survivor main and I just decided to p3 her otherwise I wouldn’t feel complete 😂

Kinda wish they didn't wipe all your crap clean when prestiging. It would make the game much more enjoyable for me at least. I only have my survivor and killer mains P3 LVL50. They're Steve and Freddy (No I didn't choose Freddy because he is OP he's been one of my favorite characters for years).
