A topic that’s been in my head for a while now. Better late than never I guess! Skull Merchant has quickly taken up my number one spot for the most irritating killer to face, and I finally talk about why in this video. Enjoy!

  1. They should delete this killer. Her design is bad, her animations are bad and her mori is bad. The whole killer gameplay is pure trash, and there are no ways to make her decent. I mean, why they would reowrk completely her power? To save her miserable design? What a treinwreck.

  2. You know a chapter is really R E A L L Y bad when people call a killers design and lore bad. Because dbd people can complain about killer having bad mechanics weather OP or useless its a staple of the game now. But when they say the design of a killer looks bad or say the lore is uninteresting thats how you know the chapter failed.

  3. When it comes to eruption I have mixed feelings, while the perk was definitely over powered I do feel that it was necessary to counter Gen rushing. I think it lasted so long because they couldn’t exactly nerf gen rushing without pissing off most survivors, but those same survivors raged at gen regression perks. It’s a double edge topic where neither side of the table will be happy.

  4. I do play as the Skull Merchant and chase survivors only rarely touching gens, and putting drones at random place on the map, she is my main, and i completely understand the frustration of players going against her, until then i didn't knew she was perceived as "that" annoying (even though i knew her chapter wasn't much appreciated) being mostly ignorant of what happened within the dbd community.

  5. This game is strange to only have one way out of the game, I know friday the 13th is shutting down but I did appreciate the multiple ways out over some generator, the most generic of objectives in any video game

  6. "If you need addons to catch a survivor in chase, that doesn't mean the killer has good chase potential."

And why exactly? Addons are finite, sure, but you can easily earn them with how abundant bloodpoints are. I never understand why people don't consider addons when doing challenges, or builds, or tournaments. They are part of the game. They are part of that killer. If I can get 100 Iridescent Addons on a killer and run them back to back, that is part of the killer's power and the game. It's the same with perks.

So in order to call myself good with a killer, I can run any type of perks I want, but running addons is off-limits? That doesn't make any sense. Survivors can bring whatever they want, and I can bring whatever I want. Addons are part of the game.

Don't ever underestimate BHVR the ability to screw up their game.

Devs don't know what they're doing because Devs do not at all play their own game, so they just release stuff, throw stuff on the wall and hope it sticks.

  8. As usual in DbD, between bugs and completely OP builds / characters is the useless rest that you can't bother to use if you want to keep scraps of sanity. Unbelivable this game still has playerbase, they must all be as addicted as I was before I quit this in 2021. I strongly suspect the mechanics of this designed to break its players.

  9. I played Skull Merchant and FIRST GAME MEDIOCRE PERKS I got 87k points. All iri score.

I love her. But she needs a nerf. She’s a guarenteed 3k every game. I’ve lost ONE game out of around 7 and that was in a custom match where I lagged mega badly.

  10. Honestly I appreciate this video, since it is very level-headed with making your arguments and without any pettiness. I personally actually really like playing Skull Merchant (I like stealth and setting up traps), but I've recently been avoiding playing her, since I don't like feeling like my opponents are not having fun while playing against me. I hope she doesn't get outright deleted or gets the Freddy treatment, hopefully the devs can find a way to rework her in a fun way.

  11. The community has really killed this game. Ever since Knight and SM I swear 90% of my games have been against killers who only camp and tunnel, nodding hitting on hook and waiting for everyone to DC or bleed out. I genuinely don’t understand how they think this is fun. And god forbid if you lead a chase for more than 10 seconds, they target you for the rest of the game because how dare you try to survive as a survivor 🫤

  12. I’ve been a merchant player since she came out and it’s not really the killer that’s the problem it’s the people running her to 3gen and camp all game she is more than that. Chase as her is kinda annoying but you can get results and it feels pretty fair for survivor most of the time. Drone probably needs a shorter duration so you have to waste time going to setup the drones
