To be honest I like the skull merchant as well. I dont really hate any killers at all. Sure I get annoyed when going up against nemesis. But the annoyance is towards myself because i dont pay attention to were the zombies are at
I'm 1 of those other 5. I'm prestige 16 rn on her. I love playing her. Seeing survivors just dc for no reason is hilarious. I was running a all undetectable build addon and perks too and they just gave up after 3 hooks. They be even more salty when they see you don't even have gen regression but jolt and just try to justify that she boring to play against. 😂

I think she's really fun to play too. I like how many builds you can make on her, and her addon design gives lots of options as well.

Im prestige 100 survivor but plays like potato
Frankly, I don't blame them for giving up. This isn't something that I would blame on Killer players, but rather the mechanics of the Killer as crafted by Behaviour. No one wants to sit in a 40+ minute match, and it's easier to do a quick DC or give up and go next than fight a war of attrition that is weighted a little more to one side. I know of a few SM mains who don't run the coined "Gen Merchant" but her kit and design allow for that style of play to come in and be the quick road to victory (well, quick in terms of getting Survivors to give up one way or another). In all the time I've played DBD, she's the only one that's made me want to also give up on the Survivor side of things. Not Hag, not Nurse, not anyone else. And it's because of the mechanics. I don't find them engaging.
That said, there's others who do. They love the design of SM and that's fine. More power to them. I dunno. She's an odd duck to me.

I played Dbd for the first time since skull merchant got released. She’s amazing holding down a three gen. I absolutely hate it as a survivor…. I’m sure I’ll love it when I play as her 🤣 Ggs man we’ll played
