  1. I believe the comparison is that as The Trickster hits the survivors with his knives, they slowly build progress toward being injured/downed. Similar to how as The Plague using your power slowly infects the survivors until they become broken. It's a strange comparison.

  2. The comparison with Plague people keep making is both have a power that as a close-medium range "attack projectile" and you need to hit the survivor with a certain amount of the projectiles to change the survivor's healthstate (ie a certain amount of trickster daggers or a certain amount of seconds plague vomit touches the survivor). The difference is plague doesn't HAVE to hit more than 1 "projectile hit" because you slowly get broken anyway, and plague's healthstate change on the survivor is technically permanent (except for if they cleanse)

  3. Yep "pretty much huntress but her hatchets do less damage" and have a way smaller hit box, has sixty of them, has a higher rate of fire, has less of an arc, has a different projectile speed, can bounce with an add on, but yeah "pretty much huntress".

  4. I wonder if making his knives apply deep wound effect on hit and make the bar go down a bit with each progressive hit would be a better approach to his power… Maybe make it an addon if it's too strong. Kind of like Legion's.

  5. Close-Mid Range projectile to reduce a health state instead of just using M1 in chase.

Of course Huntress makes the better comparison but I can see where people are coming from with that comparison.

  6. True is usually quite logical. Im not sure how he doesn't see the comparison to plague. I guess I can kinda understand the confusion. But it's mostly the projectiles to injure. Which plagues coding is technically rapid projectiles, and she can continue to vomit on someone to progress the meter faster (just like trickster is forced to do)And then they have a power up mode. But a better way to think of it is trickster is just an outright worse "version" of plague in practically every way

  7. I always thought it would be interesting if survivors could kill the killer during the end game collapse by triggering some sort of trap on the maps or something that required at least two survivors to do together. Escape being a option but not the only one. Maybe if survivors and the killer go to the area the trap is at it triggers a sorta 50/50 risk where you either kill the killer or if the killer evades the trap then the entity blocks off the area leaving you locked in with the killer. high risk high reward sort of thing rather than just camping hooks or doing the gates during the end game.

  8. The plague comparison is due to you have to use multiple knives to injure such as plague has to hit you multiple times with her vomit to injure. They are both close to medium range killers. Yes plague dosnt technically have to keep hitting you with the vomit mutliple times because of build up over time effect and that is why she doesnt have to chase as well but that is what makes her a better version.

  9. This might sound weird but I think tricksters power is an odd combination between huntress and oni, gaining a little value and ability charge for hitting knives and being able to throw them as far as huntress, but weaker than a hatchet.

  10. For me, it's a 70-Huntress/30-Plague hybrid. For me, the Plague comp comes from being an M2 Killer whose basic M2 ability doesn't injure right away; you need to puke on them a lot, or, you need to land a lot of knives.

  11. I think they are both pretty bad comparisons.

His knives are way more like plagues puke than a hatchet.

But the rest of his gameplay is more similar to huntress like the lockers the 110% stuff like that.

sure hes huntress with weaker hatchets i guess but thats a very dumbed down way to say it. Hes got so much less cost and risk to throw. missing 1 hatchet is costly not to mention the windup hitboxes and travel time.

Obviously huntress is way way stronger than him tho. But the comparison discussion is just so uneeded. Like is he strong and fun enough to play against and as is the actual question. and right now as is probably no is the answer
