WARNING PREPARE FOR A LONG RESPONSE
As excited as I am for the next chapter I do have to be honest, I am extremely happy to hear the next two chapters are licensed, they're my main squeeze. I do fully agree with you on Alien, I feel as though "End Transmission" is very clearly covering some of the themes of Alien itself(the killer is legit a Bio-mechanical horror like the Xenomorph) already so it'd be weird to have Alien coming in August right off the heels of this one. I could see The Evil Within but I sincerely hope it's F13 and Victor and Sean could see eye to eye on this one and just how much money they'd make. I can also see IT finally coming in if they've gotten more relaxed on the license but, that one is a bit up in the air.
The November chapter though… like. come on now, that could VERY easily be Springtrap. The movie is coming out around that time and, I might get some hate for this but I've always thought FNAF/Springtrap would work best as a single release/paragraph. There's not a big overarching main protag really, the pizzeria's are too small to be a actual map and the fan demand is for Springtrap and not anyone else. Them adding Springtrap around that time would legit be like printing diamonds and oil at the same exact time because the hype is going to be at a fever pitch.
There are a couple other options though, like you said, the Tall Man and Candyman but, I do have some counter arguments. With Tall Man, I'm sorry but I think he might be a bit too niche. I know the main license holder has said he's completely up for a deal with really any video game but I have not seen really any clamoring for Tall Man except for a very small portion of people. I even remember hearing that MCote basically said in a interview before that he considered someone like Pinhead to be niche but still fairly popular but, that was about as niche as they would go. Candyman on the other hand, I just feel like, if they did get that license it'd be for a full chapter and, honestly, I think Candyman would make a bomb skin for Artist. She works exactly I would have imagined Candyman would work and now, since they're adding unique mori's with Legendary skins I can 100% see Candyman as a skin for her.
Candyman would love to see him finally after soo long that way Jason, Alien, Pennywise are left on the list wich fair enough is good for me as long as I can see 1 of those 4 on the list
I don't really feel like fnaf it gonna be the November chapter because we have seen this happen with Candyman and it was wrong. Also, if we were gonna get a fnaf I wouldn't make sense to not have a map or maybe survivor because we have Mike Schmidt face now.
I feel like re getting Friday the 13th as the first chapter as it’s the last chapter that is extremely iconic. Makes sense to get the full treatment with a survivor and map. Luckily video game and streaming rights are not effected like the movie rights for the franchise.
The 2nd chapter for me I think is between these 3. Reminder that it will be just the killer and no map. Because of this these are the 3 killers I could see being in the game without the full chapter treatment. Candyman, Pennywise(I hope not since I really want the Derry Swears to be a map.) and maybe just maybe Springtrap. Not too confident on Springtrap but who knows.
With two licensed chapters coming back to back after anniversary only means the next anniversary will be original too

if the single killer chapter is fnaf, thats kinda disappointing. i wanted fnaf to be an entire chapter, new survivor, new map, new killer. who could be the survivor you ask? what about the guy playing the security guard in the new fnaf movie. idk, getting just springtrap with no survivor, and especially no map would be really upsetting. but i feel like people are so desperate for fnaf they wouldnt even care

The only big license that’s really left (that can be a big chaoter) is chucky, I know they keep making up reasons as to why he isn’t in the game but maybe just maybe they were saying that so we wouldn’t expect him? Could be an option, not likely but definitely not off the table.
When I think iconic horror movie villains that we don’t have yet. Any universal monster, Jason, candyman, pennywise, or jack torrence, for the killer paragraph, easily spring trap. I’m sorry to characters like art the clown but when I think license with a capital L, it has to be one everybody knows. And there are some niche license that would be cool but it’s not their time yet. If I had my way it would be jack Torrence, mainly because I want the overlook hotel as a map, and spring trap because fnaf over the course of ten years has built itself up to become a modern icon of horror.
They also say that this is their first OWN sci-fi killer so there have to be more coming like Alien or Predator

I really really hope Springttrap but i'm really not sure. Because the owner of FnaF is homophobic and it was a big controversy, so it's not that it wouldn't infect the FnaF license. And Dbd is literally the no. 1 go to game for the gays, and we all know Behavior want to have their name to be clean. Wo i'm really not sure that he will come. But let's see. It would fit because FnaF not really has a iconic survivor. I think Jason will never come, and tbh i'm happy bout it, because he is basically Trapper, and he is just a guy walking around and killing people, nothing spacial. I would be disappointed if he would come, also he doesn't really have a iconic survivor. And Candyman would be cool but he is basically the Artist, and ofc we got Leatherface and Bubba, but that was at the beginning, where no one played dbd. So i don't know if they would bring another killer, with the same Power again just because of the license.

The whole Springtrap thing is very possible because Blumhouse is also working on the DBD movie. Which are currently about to release the FNAF movie.
Honestly, releasing Jason in October would be perfect since it goes under a Friday 13th in the calendar

Im seeing lots of comments saying that some licenses wont make it since its not popular enough even though the devs themselves had said that they dont discriminate horror licenses based off popularity. While yeah I dont know if Art is in this certain year. But I still want people to understand that just because a license isnt popular doesnt mean that it doesnt have a chance at all

I don't see the argument "FNAF is for kids" working as an excuse as to why Springtrap can't be in DBD.
Springtrap is a child murderer who was trapped in a robotic suit for 30 years, left to rot, came back to kill even more kids, and was given his own personal Hell for what he did.
That kind of character doesn't really give a off kid friendly vibe does it?

You made some really good points narrowing down what the licenses are, but I’m still hoping for an Alien chapter this year. The fact we just got a sci-fi horror chapter is slightly worrying though, and I had the exact same thoughts as you. Not a fan of FNAF or Springtrap by any means but I’d be fine with a FNAF chapter – it’s just that I know some people in the community will be really angry about it and it will cause a lot of drama which makes me slightly dread it if it does happen. Still, I think it would be an opportunity for BHVR to bring in a large young fanbase to play their game and the drama would be worth it for all the money it would bring in.

Btw. BHV is collaborating with Supermassive to create a spinoff game. Theyre the ones that created Until Dawn, and that game was very iconic.
