Remember when tiles used to have two pallets?
This is pretty close to what it used to be like on the regular.
"Surely it couldn't have been worse", you say? Well, instead of just one pallet connected with one pallet connected with one pallet, you would have a jungle gym with two pallets connected with a giant closed-off square that had two pallets (one in each entrance) and that would probably lead to the old 4-lane.
Those single pallet tiles? Imagine copy-pasting another one on each of those and rotating it so that there's a pallet on each side.
Now slow down pallet-kicking animations, extend stun animations, make killers take longer to vault windows, make survivors vacuum from one side of a pallet to the other as they drop it (from like an entire meter away), give them all instant 5-second DS on pick-up, remove the Exhaustion mechanic and make Sprint Burst automatically activate every 30 seconds or so (yes, cooldown was shorter) and turn flashlights back into laser guns that instantly blind you for five years when a survivor just clicks your way.
"Surely it couldn't have been that stupid?" you say? It was, in fact, even worse than that. I didn't even mention the actual infinites and other map design tidbits…

Want people to use pallets? Maybe don't respect them so hard. No really a reason to use pallets if you don't get a stun out of it.

8:22 – It's absolutely the right call to try to get the most kills, especially with an M1 killer, but it sucks that "the right play" here coincides entirely with what you'd expect from "F%@$ you for looping me for five generators, now you die" killer personality. Still kind of wish for a general change to game rules that makes endgame more dynamic and operate more around spacing control than facecamping for a grab. I'll just float my old idea, where two survivors in contact with a victim may perform a "Team Unhook" that is faster, and cannot be grabbed; basically circumventing the high-ping-risk idea of the Grab Game.
Anyway, sorry about the pallets though.

That match alone is the reason why people play less and less M1 killers. Like just in the off chance of getting this stacked map or survivor taking you to one, why wouldn't you play Nurse or another strong anti loop killer?
I honestly thought it would just be a fat shame at the mainbuilding window making it so you HAVE to walk around and a pallet spawning right next to the window too lol.

SWF on a good Survivor map: 1k
SWF on a good Survivor map but with too much altruism: 2k after every gen is already done.
If the Survivors didn't go for risky saves at the end and just left when they saw Scott was camping, Scott would only have gotten 1k and it would have been through camping after destroying more than a dozen pallets and getting every horrible tiles in the same map.
SWF teams's only weakness is altruism for their friends, not even the demi-gods of DBD can defeat the combined powers of map rng not smiling to them and a half-decent SWF team without preying on their one weakness.
