  1. The name of the video clip he is watching is called legion_frank_2, this could be a subtle way of Scott, who we know is closely tied to the dev team and actively changing the game, to hint that legion is getting a shadow buff this update. Thoughts?

  2. I still don't understand that what is the devs target of the spirit change? Spirit Add-on is the weird things of these change( nerf the killer power but buff the add – on). Billy is that good example of the nerf.

  3. It's easier to balance around now.

Instead of thinking about Perks Survivors bring, or the Survivors Audio (Footsteps, breathing, which are more edge-case) you just need to look at the Spirit's Audio/Video from Killer instinct.
Deafen the Killer Instinct audio and require it to be Visual only. Increase the range so it's less "lunge-distance". Increase the delay between each pulse, etc.

  4. With enough investment you can absolutely bring in Iri and Purple add-ons every game. Just look at someone like CoConut who has hundreds and thousands of every add-on and offering on huntress. Clearly that is an extremely example but the average player could absolutely (in theory) only play spirit after getting the add-ons and then switch back to a different killer (or even survivor) when they don't have them to earn the bloodpoints to get them again.

  5. How bad would it be to make Mother Daughter Ring even faster, but remove everything: scratch marks, auras, killer instinct, loud noise notifications, all survivor sounds, blood. Everything. (I know some of those are removed with base kit, but if they ever change it, MDR still removes it)

  6. No offence, but you were healing yourself with the boon totem active and you THOUGHT you were healing someone else, I don't think you possess the necessary skill to even opinionate about what's stronger or not on anything about this game…
Update: just played with this build after 3k hours of spirit only, and recently in rank 1 with 10-20 consecutive wins in High MMR, You're totally wrong, spirit is useless I got 2 kills at best which does not define "strong" in my opinion, a trapper with no brain that uses noed can get 2-3k if lucky. Spirit is useless

  7. Each of them is fine.
Its because both have the same downside. Making using both giving you a single downside, causing the combo powerful.

One of them should have a different downside. And problem will be fixed.

  8. gotta love when they make a good rework and them reintroduce not 1, but 2 of the old massive problems spirit had just in addon form (Making her a guessing game/collision)

MAN i love that im just waiting for VHS to come out these devs are just dumb

  9. These add ons encapsulate the very essence of most killer mains and why I usually side with survivor mains on issues. Killer mains want to just be able to turn their brain off. They do not want the survivors to be rewarded for their good play. Survivor mains ARE the more toxic players, but killer mains are the more entitled.

Take a look at the complete evolution of just the trap door mechanic. At first killer mains had no problem with it. Then after awhile they complained about keys so the devs nerfed it so it only shows up in the map after a certain amount of gens are done. Then it got nerfed to the current # of survivors plus 1 gen is done and it shows up. Then there was the end game collapse they wanted. Then they wanted to be able to close the trap door. And now finally, it will only spawn with one survivor left AND there is a time delay before they can reopen it with a key.

    Why?

Because killer mains feel entitled to that final kill. Doesn't matter if the survivor outclassed, outsmarted, and outplayed them the entire match. That player feels entitled to killing you in the match because reasons. Thats the evolution of killer main entitlement which is why killer mains will not call this combination overpowered because any combination which allows them to turn their brain off is "the way the killer should always work and be base kit"…they "shouldn't need add ons to be a good killer"

    Gets off soap box

  10. 1. This isn’t news, MDR was always strong.

    2. The instinct isn’t gonna do shit if you don’t understand survivor movement anyways.

    3. Why aren’t add ons allowed to be strong?

    4. Spirit isn’t stronger than she was. Are u kidding lmfao. You can hear where she is. Literally removed the main thing that made strong survivors vulnerable.

    5. Can’t wait for Scott to get another killer thing nerfed. Loving the survivor bias.

  11. One thing Scott didn’t mention is that survivors can now hear Spirit and know roughly where she is while phasing. There are examples on streams of survivors doing 360s against phased spirits for instance because they know when the spirits has gotten close and what direction they’re in. One reason this combo is so effective, in addition to the killer instinct telling you when to unphase, is that the massive movement speed also gives survivors much less time to react to the sounds – they can probably hear the Spirit coming but there’s very little time for them to do much about it with that speed boost.

Whether or not this combo is overpowered I have no idea, but I do believe that without this combo Spirit is significantly weaker than before.

  12. The moment I saw the description for Dried Cherry Blossom, I knew it was gonna be a problem. Between this and the pallet add ons, Spirit feels like more of a cheat now, taking less intelligence to play than ever.
