  1. People keep forgetting that Spirit is, regardless of nerf or not, capable of switching from base ms to 176% and vice versa within almost an instant. She's basically Wraith on crack (with more movement speed and less uncloak time) so I think getting actual indicators of what she's doing during the phase is a fair nerf that doesnt necessarily warrant a buff to compensate. She will remain strong enough for sure. In my opinion the Spirit nerf's definetly not over-the-top and not in need of a buff for compensation. I could see a compensating buff being justified if they'd nerf actual values but adding indicators to something that should've had indicators since the very beginning just because of how strong it is…Not too certain about that.

But overall I'm in love with this mid-chapter patch, dozens of interesting changes, regardless of Killers, Killer add-ons or Perks. Now they just gotta nerf healing time on medkits lol
But just as you mentioned yourself tho, it do be kinda sus, that patch is almost too good for BHVR standards.

  2. A physical indicator to see where the spirit is?
Come on devs…the spirit can only listen now and can have no collision
Make the killer fair, not straight weaker
    Survivors complain all the time….
Directional sounds if done well – happy with that
    But remove the physical indicator!

  3. Great video, just one thing though. If they made Vigil take away exhaustion while running, it would be WAY too strong. Imagine 4 really good survivors all running Sprint Burst and Vigil. You get away from the killer, get to a loop, drop a pallet. After ~30 seconds, thanks to Vigil, your SB is already back, and you can get away from the killer again. Obviously this depends on what killer and map, but generally I feel like it would be too strong since a good chase should only last <a minute. Even though it might not be the strongest perk after the change, it will be stronger and used a bit more often I think.

  4. Why don’t they make Spirit send out an AOE pulse that makes her foot prints appear just a little more clearly for each pulse that the survivor is hit by or something similar. Or maybe give her an echo location thing while she’s invisible that lets her see survivors but they can hear the pulse that hits them?

  5. BHVR so concerned about killer balance but will never do anything about the glaring survivor balance issues. Classic. Spirit was balanced before, maybe not in mid/low level play, but nobody even knows what they're doing in mid/low level play, so who even cares.

  6. Lest we forget this is 'Part 1' of the proposed fixes they'll be releasing in the near future. That implies a 'part 2' is coming. Likely a few more addon, item and perk fixes, and (hopefully) console optimization. If they pull this off without bricking the game and/or their servers, I'll say 'hurrah' and pray they stay on this path.

If EA can turn around and fix their shit, BHVR has a chance. Let's hope they can keep this up, and prepare for the possibility of failure.

  7. Basically spirit is not invisible no more and now survivors in control of the killer talk about a handicapped, even if she the fastest killer in the game people will still know your coming, they can just camp pallets and windows until the see dust or hear you and this is without iron will

  8. wait.. is the power of pinhead considered an attack? if so the synergy with hex blood favor might be interesting…
on clown and doctor it would be good aswell.. maybe less on doctor but still would open the window of antiloop of it's power… if badly timed, as long as it's casted before then reach the pallet.

  9. These are great! Some actual quality of life changes that the game needs more of.
Problem: This is so not like Behavior. This has to be the work of some other development team who broke in and made these changes without Behavior knowing. its the only way to explain this.

  10. Finally some much needed nerfs to spirit. I started running fixated, spine chill, and iron will just to counter spirits, but would still get wrecked by them faking their power which always felt really bad losing the 50/50. Definitely will try coming back to the game after this patch.

  11. I mostly disagree with making vigil recover exhaustion while running because it could make loops even more annoying ( especially with sprint burst) I like the idea of having to go out of your way to recover it. or repair a gen while its recovering
