some things i would want for year 7 more interesting design changes/tests the 2 tests that i can remeber are the sbmm and bloodlust. but for simplicity sack im refering to tests that fall in lines with bloodlust i have a idea for a test they could see if adding bloodpoint insentives or even gameplay insentives to not focus on the survivor hooked lead to better game satisfaction. tldr more game tests that have a dynamic impact to the game like exstra perk slots,less perk slots. etc and for the people who don't want to they can toggle it with beta tab and connect to people not using that beta
It's always fun to make wishlists, so i have decided that these are the changes/things i want most.
1: Perk tier rework, maybe make it so that it's challenge based like the rifts.
2: Reworked bad perks, but not as in "This perk is now meta" but "This perk is better in this build than meta", so that instead of just having a stock 4 best it's more varied.
3: Optional bloodpoint objectives in trails, just a way to get extra for extra so it's not "A > B" but "A > B/C > C", also lowering the grind.
Maybe give luck an effect in it that aspect too, the mechanic is really in a coma.
4: An option for voice chat, or proximity based voice chat, if games in 2010 can do it BHVR can also.
And it can so easily just be a toggle, it will make the game so much more fun, and make it so solo can compare at least a bit to swf letying BHVR buff killer.
5: Better and more varied offerings, seriously, it has so many possibilities that just aren't there right now.
6: Better item balance, i can't remember the last time i saw a map with my own two eyes.
7: A health update, it feels like the devs are always going forward, but never looking back is what's hurting them most of the time.
People will understand if there's no new killer for some time because maps/perks/bloodweb/everything is getting fixed, i would be more than happy if that were the case.
Let's say 50% of the content right now is never used (Perks, items, etc) if they took the time to fix that it would give people so much more to mess around with.
Anyways, that's just what i want, i'm not everyone after all so yeah.

they need to do what blizzard is doing with overwatch 2 right now. *COMMUNICATING*. why would you call it a community if you don't communicate anything you're doing with them?

My idea is just random.
1. Have a mode where u take five people in a lobby and anyone of those could be the killer but it’s random. Then once in the game EVERYONE just has random perks. This would make it feel more like a party game.
2. Take 3 months for no new content but just fix all the core issues and bugs. No reason why new perks are affecting old perks 4 years ago.
3. Take out SBMM, make boons a “one and done” like hexs, nerf NOED and DH because that’s the biggest survivor and killer complaints
4. It’s obviously possible to have an offline mode because there’s a tutorial. Have an offline mode where people can try out perks before they spend all their bloodpoints on something they might like
5. Fix ur hacking/cheating problem by buying better security
6. The devs gotta be better at communicating issues instead of just ignoring it and hope it goes away or banning things on their forums because they don’t want to talk about it.
Year 7, just want more balance so we can all have fun perks, not the usual meta, actually wanna be interested in diverse perks. Devs actually need to use there power and effort to rework the whole game mechanics. Unhealthy game creates unhealthy community that turn on each other because of game balances and exploits. Killers shouldn’t have to resort to unfair/shady gameplay, survivors should have a chance to actually enjoy the game, so should killers without worrying about 3 gens popping. I wish the best for this game, but I’d be lying that it’s imbalanced and haven’t been playing as much cause I’m enjoying other games that know what their doing and aren’t in such a chaotic state.💯🙏🏽😌⛩🗾🏔 I actually care about my mental health. Lol
Honestly, at this point, the only thing I want from BHVR is either bots in custom matches or a straight up vs. AI mode. I realize that there are a billion more important things that need fixing and tweaking in the game, but I would honestly be satisfied with just that. Even if it's just backporting the mobile bots into the PC/Console version, it would be enough for me to stop complaining. I know I'm in the minority here, but that's really the only thing I want from DBD at this point: just a mode where I can fuck around and have fun with this game without having worry about meta or bm or gen efficiency or hackers or any of the other nonsense that ruins the experience for me.
These are what I thought of.
Adjust map sizes, add side objectives that give more bloodpoints, add different objectives besides gens like collecting parts or memories left by the observer to help progress, for killers they could do a ritual in the center of the map to trigger a cutscene and the entities claw comes out to stab the ground to trigger an early game collapse, remove everything that increases gen speeds, killers cant be blinded while locker grabbing, two pallets shouldn't be able to spawn near eachother like Gideon meat plant for example, remove breakable walls, boons should have a cooldown when broken, make hex spawns more hidden, everything in the bloodweb costs less, rework perks like noed, hex ruin, ds, dh, etc.

For me, it would be reduce BP grind, improve optimization,combine perks, there's no reason why Premonition and Spine chill should be separated, for the ones that aren't combined, buff them, fix boons. Why are hexes one and done while boons are infinite? (Yes I know pentimento exists, but thats 2 perk slots for one perk to work, boons are one for unlimited). Now stick with me on this one, cause this one is gonna be controversial. Make a lot of perks base kit, like insidious. That should be base kit, monstrous shrine should be as well, then we should make perks base kit under certain situations. Like if a killer has been blinded more than 2 or 3 times in rapid succession, give them mini lightborn. Same for survivors, if they've been tunneled, give em a mini DS, id also like to see a perk that allows survivors to pick each other up on the floor when slugged. That would be nice, but yea, I have some other ideas but forgot em. Thats it for now

This is my idea on how to rework breakable walls.
What if breakable walls had to be built by survivors. So basically my idea is that after a killer breaks a dropped pallet a survivor can pick up a wood fragment. After a survivor has picked up a certain amount of wood fragments they can build a breakable wall in a doorway. I am not sure how long the animations should be. There should definitely be a limit to how many walls a survivor can build.

Here is another idea that I want them to talk about in The Anniversary live stream, I want them to fix the ridiculous grind of the game. There are a lot of killers, play styles and builds that I want to play but the grind in the game to unlock Killers, survivors, add-on, and (mainly) perks is horrendous. Especially for someone like me who only has a least 5 to 10 hours a week to play the game, because I am not a full-time live streamer on Twitch or a full-time YouTube content creator, I am an average guy with a nine-to-five, with a family, side business and life in general. So I don't have the free time to grind the ridiculous bloodweb . The bloodweb needs a rework badly, plus just make every perk tier 3 because Tier 1 and 2 is useless, because that right there would definitely help the grind

I just want to they add way to upgrade bloodweb permanently. I have a million blood points for now, but I am tired yo spend them every time. I just want one button for that, and i am okay with that loot, perks and addons would be random. I don't care.
To also mention. There has been COUNTLESS bugs caught by DStrike and Boom or Boon here on YouTube ever since the latest mid chapter patch update. Most annoying is the rubber banding, and my god that pisses me off so damn much. This game needs to fully test things in ptbs before they bring it to live servers.
Honestly this is going to sound a bit controversial but I think a lot of perks shouldn't be teachables in the game, moreover for survivor but also killer. But with survivor, perks being teachables removes the idea of a survivor having a specific playstyle if their perks can be transferred over. It makes survivors skins and moreover takes away an interesting team aspect that could've been in the game.

While I do agree with your points. I think we all need to realize that what we're asking is something we could ask 3-4 years ago. When Development team had passion and ''WANT'' to make this game. Recently I don't feel this passion, I see simply new skins to buy. Since the Tencent influence, the game sadly went into more marketing and money making path, than passion and fun.
For balance changes I want powerful perks nerfed bad perks buffed and same for killers so it becomes more enjoyable

I think you should make a longer video going into more detail about one of these topics if not each of them. I know you been talking about these issues for a long time, but I think if you focused on the useless perks I would love to hear you go through why you feel these perks bring no value to the player or why this map hinders gameplay with poor design choices. Don't get me wrong I hear you these issues suck ass. But considering how long you been playing dbd I would love if you made a longer video exploring these topics.
The longer vid could help you out too, you seem to get irritated when you talk about some of these issues, for example you don't ever want to bring up the artist. But if you go into detail about the artist you could then reference the video in your live chats.
Just some thought I enjoy your content im interested in hearing you develop your thoughts more is all.
