  1. So subbing you inspired me to play DBD again and adopting the looping technique literally had me looking like the Feng Min troll I was born to be my first 2 matches, complete with a rage quit. Feels like I came back too late with this upload. 🥺

  2. The real issue right now is the current meta playstyle incentivized by the balance of the game. If survivors don't waste their time, all gens can pop really quick and the strats of pretty much all killers is to tunnel 2 survivors out of the game and play a 1v2. This whole gameplay loop is stale and boring and unhealthy for the game.

Omg I agree I’m happy someone feels the same way, I actually hope dbd falls off, when a new survivor comes out I always get excited but then overwhelmed like it’s hard to stop playing it because skins for my main come out and events I just want to be part of everything because I’ve been playing for 4 years,🥲 but then dbd has horrible player’s, bad perks and annoying killers….

  4. There is a general softness / pc culture affecting everything. Pokémon games are way too easy and I’m sure many other gamers can shout out their fav games being ruined by trying to be too nice/ coddle the players in order to simply make money off new people. It’s really all about getting attention these days. No good or bad. Just happy to be mentioned or get a comment. I don’t like how much games are making for simply making skins and never addressing the actual gameplay / potential. Stick w what’s safe. Easy quick money for something drawn in 30 minutes.

  5. Looping was an unintended mechanic, as the game was just meant to be like hide and seek originally. Maybe they’re trying to push for that? Idk. I haven’t run into as much fat-shaming spots as some people have, but I’m definitely not good at looping or mindgames, so I’m probably a poor indicator of the general experience.

    I hope they adjust flashlights, because it’s bogus right now. This isn’t related to a “save,” but I had a survivor shine their flashlight at me as I was chasing them out of the gate, LOOKING DOWN THE WHOLE TIME, and they STILL got the blind!!! I know looking down isn’t efficient sometimes for shorter killers like Sadako, but I was playing Knight, who is a tall killer! And sure, locker saves were me retry annoying, but it was very rare that I’d run into a squad like that. I think it only happened to me twice. Both times, it sorta derailed my game, and it was sorta frustrating, but I just took the L and moved on. Nobody really likes getting repeatedly stomped into the ground, but I’m generally happy if I can get two kills in a game, or if the survivors wanna mess around, I’m good to farm instead. As long as I’m not repeatedly getting my butt kicked, I can take a few difficult games here and there.

Imo, at some point, bhvr started to forget that not ALL killers should 4k, and not ALL survivors are entitled to escape; i get it's pretty hard to balance that, but with what updates they've been throwing at us lately, it just seems they don't care anymore. They don't listen to valuable feedback from both killer and survivor mains, they just want to coddle new players and that's it. It's sort of frustrating when you spent upwards of 1k hours in a game to be able to master it, and then you get sat on by a baby killer, or you see an edge map, urban evasion running claudette that gets hatch after they absolutely did nothing in the game. It's sad and boring, and i hope at some point they'll start listening to at least the fog wisperers that give genuine good feedback to improve BOTH sides (at the moment i don't think they care about fog wisperers either).

  7. What the heck!!!!!!!! Nerfing looping ?!?! HOW?!?!? WHY?!?!? As a killer and survivor, that's the most fun!!! I feel like it's challenging and fun!! Behavior has lost their mind. I hate that they nerfed the flashlight! I was trying to learn it and i was trying to learn how to loop too! I agree with you!! I honestly they're aim was to entice us with playing DBD with the hope of looping better and killing better and doing certain techs better. I'm so mad and bummed out by them.

  8. i dont think the fatshaming spots were intended, they probably made a generation for the new map and that affected the rest of the maps. i hate how messy the new map is with no "empty" spots, making killers like wesker have a disadvantage if they want to use their powers, and then join macmilian and get fatshamed by a tree and shack

    No one is talking about how so many good loops were replaced with bad ones. Especially macmillin, like what is that loop thats just 4 walls in a row with 1 unsafe bs pallet??

  10. The removal of flashlight locker saves wasn't necessary at all. It was so laughably rare in solo queue and it wasn't an issue. SWFs will find ways to break the game or be annoying and unkillable no matter what. But what bothers me the most is how easy flashlight saves are now. The fact that it took timing skill made it more fun and impressive, now it's just boring and average. I've gotten some insanely early saves after the latest update. So much for spending hours perfecting the timing and angles. Hell, the knight himself has a very weak power, the only way to use it efficiently requires you to sandwich a player into a loop, which is just boring and takes little to no skill. Not an issue with the new map with the amount of pallets, but it's a pretty horrible experience. Even if it's used normally, the knight's power also encourages holding W, a really braindead technique which isn't fun for either side…
