  1. i have watched many. many of your videos. But on this Scott just no. And as a dbd veteran you should know. Current Wraith is at his second most weakest state. Before when dual windstorm addons had that REAL boost that was peak wraith.

And btw removing flashlight burn is not a "rework" that is exactly as you said a "number's change"

  2. Honestly my only gripe with Wraith is that I feel like he should gain true invisiblity when standanding still for 2 seconds. Make it so he has the jump scare power of Scartched Mirror Myers

Imagine you’re trying to find a Gen, and you run up to one and start working on it, only for a Silent Bell Wraith to start uncloaking right next to you. That would be a fun, not overpowered, and most importantly SCARY change for what is supposed to be a “horror” game

  3. My favorite is the Bone Clapper and "The Ghost". I spend all match banging my bell randomly, lull them into a false sense of security and WHAMO! Smack 'em like I'm the Honey Smacks frog.

  4. The tldr of wraith add ons I think is that they all change the way you play him, but they don’t change the fundamentals, and don’t break the game in half (like sadako‘s iri)

  5. I think there is a case for Legion being another REALLY good rework: It added lethality to a killer who needed it, almost every add-on is incredible (BBFs sadly isn't that good, but even with that the speed boost can be kinda nice?) None of the addons break the game, but even the browns are really nice: Longer lunge catches people off guard a LOT, the extra two seconds is super nice, recharge is dece (esp if you're new, comparable to hound for wraith), and from there they just get better and better? Susie's Mixtape is contraversal, but it has banging tunes AND can provide you map wide info from your frenzy, which on a killer who can potentially snowball off of a chain hit or two is super scary!

Legion does, of course, still have the inherent weakness of "what if the survivors just don't group up?" But now they're pushed to group up to heal!! Compared to where they started, they've improved a lot. Also the mixtapes layering into the chase music is just such a cool touch.

I do think Wraith's rework is overall the best they've done, but Legion is up there!! Very fun killer to play, enables some silly shenanigans (if you haven't tried Dark Devotion Legion you're missing out), overall just a great rework! Idk how they went Legion/Ghostface Rework into Dredge (full killer) into Wesker (INCREDIBLE killer), into fucking. Knight & Skull Merchant. It's like they did a fucking 720 spin off of a half pipe, were perfectly primed for the landing, and then decided to just jump off the skateboard!

  6. The only thing I dislike about Wraith’s add-ons is that he has one rarity-tier of repeating effects. Nothing to complain about though; DBD’s least egregious crime.

  7. I find Artist has a similar range of add-on variation. I have a nice choice of how I want to approach things. I could snipe better with add-ons to extend birb aura duration and reduced cooldown, or spread varied ailments. See Survivors in loops. Have more birbs or even go stealth briefly with less birbs on hand. It depends on your playstyle with her but she has a good variety to pick and choose from. I often go no add-ons for the grind with Artist but when I do, I have fun with the different options she has.

  8. I’d love a bubba add-on rework. 1. Apart from chilli and beast marks (which you pretty much need for him to feel good to play) they’re all dog shit 2. His pick rate would temporarily spike so I’d play against him more when I play survivor

  9. So I actually did a meme build with "The Beast" addon with dissolution and it worked fairly well. I even had someone DC over it. It REALLY confused people… I suggest trying it out, you only really need dissolution for it to be fun, but can add w/e u want.

  10. I just wish Wraith still had his 1.25 second lunge. He's in a pretty good spot in terms of power right now and his lunge is ok, but I get sad knowing it used to be so much better.

  11. My only real complaint with Wraith is that since he's balanced around cloak/uncloak speed and congesting that animation at pallets and windows, his base power is pretty rough. You really need at least one yellow or above addon to not have a bad time.

  12. What killer you think needs an addon pass the most? I would say someone between ph, billy and freddy. Their addon kit is pretty terrible.

  13. My only complaint with Wraith is that his addon effects repeat and I think that’s boring. The Green Uncloaking addon is useless if you have the Purple one. If you want to stack them, sure, but if you want two different effects, there’s no reason to use the Green over the Purple (other than budgeting I guess). There are actually a few killers that have addons like these – Doctor and Hag come to mind – and I wish they’d fix it. I think they should just combine addons that stack (and tweak their numbers) or do what Annotated Plan/Jigsaw Sketch do for Pig: they both give an extra trap while having other effects to go with them. Giving addons minor bonuses when they affect the same stat is a great way to ensure every addon has some kind of UNIQUE value.
And say what you will about Skull Merchant, but her addons, alongside the addons that came with the Ghosface and Legion reworks, really excite me because I think they show that BHVR is getting more comfortable experimenting with addons

  14. If add-ons were meant to give you variaty on how the killer can/could play the game differently from base kit,
I'm almost sure every killer in the game would legit feel a lot more interesting (and maybe even chaotic fun lol) than as it is now.

Like if you can run into stealth style on a non-stealth killer (obviously not as good/effective as an actual stealth killer) solely due to some add-ons and a build that complement it.
I really do think that kind of scenario with tons of varieties of different styles/ways You could play each killer would make for a far more entertaining experience (at least in some aspects).

  15. Scott: Look at this amazing job that BHVR did with wraith’s add-ons

  16. ngl I never want them to completely rework any killer after learning about what they did to Freddy. It isn't worth doing if you lose the character in the process.

  17. Removing bubbas face camping potential would take him down to F tier. His rework sucked too. His addons are trash except for chillies and his speed movement. Without those addons he cannot loop the most basic tiles or loops against decent survivors. If a killer NEEDS specific addons then they should just be base kit. Like billys engravings. He literally needs them to even have a prayer to use his power on even SOME loops. They should just be base kit.

I agree though they need to buff a lot of killers base stats. The addons should just be like a fun or cool alteration of gameplay they shouldnt be required to use to even being able to compete against survivors.

I wish they would make shadowborn base kit for all killers too. The default fov is terrible. How are you gonna tell me I cant see someone literally running into my face.

  18. Cool rework on the addons but when mfs like pyramid head are in the game with trash it’s like huh. It never adds up with this game. Haven’t played in quite a minute. I hope I find that fun I used to again for this game. Also the homies don’t play anymore so that’s no help 😮
