I only ran iron will because I used to main Jane and she is VERY loud
Iron will did NOT need to be reduced to 75%. The exhaustion condition is enough imo.
Never forget they released Mettle of Man with the DLC that would be the hardest to sell (at the time, $8 for one okay looking survivor) in a completely overpowered state, then when the sales finally died down they nerfed it into the ground for years. It was basically a 'pay $8 for an additional health state for a month'
Pain res and pop nerfs were 100% unnecessary

Seeing these nerfs, particularly Ruin, makes me wonder just what the hell those in charge of reworking them were thinking

I think the worst meta by far is away (gen kick) for killers but the worst meta ever just began for survivors, thanato doesn't exist anymore (apart for legion and plague) and there is almost no penalities for being injured most of the games(resilience,made for this,adrenaline,delivrance, ect, ect) and most of the killer can't even punish it because they take 1.15 times longer to catch up to mft and the slow ones take 1.3 times longer, the speed stacks (whitch is dumb).
The game is balanced around ( in my pubs match in all cases ) the A – b+ tiers killers (from otz lastest tier list) , meaning i lose 40% of my matches, tie around 20% and win around 40% with killer ranging from spirit to deathlinger (2400h btw) and i don't bring the strongest shit ever, and i nearly lose 60% of my matches, tie eround 5% and win around 35% with killer under A tier and win around 75% of my matches as blight or nurse (still not bringing the strongest shit)…(a win is either a 3k or 4k, loss is 0k or 1k, 2k is neither a win nor a loss)
There's a few things that bother me about behaviour, they never told us where they would stop, but they absolutely should now, alien is coming out, and they just have to listen to a few people to balance the game and make some Qol changes ; reworking myers, freddy, twins (and let us know about it) addon pass for demo and pyramid head, blight addons nerfs, and add a new gamemode. But i fear they are too capitalist to do that… maybe they don't have enough dividend to do that kind of thing …
But im still crying about the new perk from cage … i wanna bring beerstalker in all my matches, it frustates me so much…

The iron will nerf broke my heart. An unnecessary harsh change. Deactivation while exhausted? Fine. But the 75% only works on certain characters and its not many. The devs have a hard time with balancing. They dont balance, they just kill perks. And just because a perk is picked a lot, doesnt mean it needs to be nerfed. We should have good strong perks.
Im pretty new to dbd but i followed the game before i played and i wish i could have used some of these perks before their nerf

Okay y’all need to here this. You saying things like “just do bones” or “hexes are easy to remove” you seem to forget, in a higher skill lobby, EVERY second is valuable. A totem takes 14 seconds to cleanse, the issue is the time it takes to FIND it.
Many times I’ve been in a 4 man swf when plaything and pentimento come out, I am dedicated cleanser, I spend multiple minutes cleansing hexes, that is literally an extra 2 gens worth of time where I can’t help in chases or unhooks or protection hits or gens themselves.
Ruin being disabled after one kill is perfectly okay, ruin against a 3 man makes gens impossible. A 3 man usually goes 1 on hook or being chased, one getting rescue or helping with gens, then 1 on gen. When there’s a hook, there’s one on gen, and it loops to only being one person on gens, meaning multiple cannot be worked on and when you have to leave it to save and trade places, ruin destroys the gen. There isn’t time to go cleanse it, ruin against a 3 man is the most oppressive shit, it going away after a kill is completely fair. I agree 100% is too weak make it 150%
Iron will had a interesting history of being buffed MAJORLY before being nerfed. At first Iron will was an Additive(or rather subtractive) effect. Meaning that If the killer used Strider which increased all survivor pain noises by +50% or they were using freddy who has addons that increase their noise then you'd still be 50% quiet. They later changed this so that all sound noises would be multiplicative in 5.1.0 which broke the perk. as Anything times zero is zero. Making iron will have no counter. This made Iron will climb the ranks from a B teir Perk to a S teir perk. It should also be noted that there has been sound changes to DBD where objects muffle noise slightly. if the survivor/killer don't have a direct line of sight to each other the sound gets muffled by a small percentage and moves towards the closes bit of geometry to the killer/survivor. this could happen multiple times but they fixed it to have a set limit on each object (because for a while on large loops spirit was impossible to tell which side she was going even with good headphones)
Deadhead also got a similar type of buff PRIOR to its first nerf. That is when Bhvr decided in their INFINTIE WISDOM to make hit registration favor survivor point of view over Killers point of view. It used to be that killers being the ones that attacked got hit registration priority. To explain hit registration for people who don't know game networking. when computers connect to a server they feed information to a server which the server then shares with everyone else. When a killer does an attack it sends information to the server that it hit at x. The server then looks at the survivors computer and asks if they were at X in the last .010 seconds. if yes then you were hit if not it would say your missed. Initially When Killer computer said it hit someone the server would most likely agree with the killer. This lead to survivors throwing hissy fits because killer managed to hit them through a window or hit them after they activated a perk like deadhard even though to the killer actually hit them first. Then in 2020 they changed it so that hit registration favored survivors AND DEADHARD BECAME SSS teir. No long was it wishy washy as to being a counter perk infact the most popular hack for a long time was the insta deadhard hack which would see if the killer would hit the survivor then inject the survivor deadharded before the killer hit them. Now imagine first iteration deadhard with hit reg favoring it. It was RAGE inducing.
Honestly i still wish Deadhard was nerfed MORE.

The fact that original Off The Record wasn't even half bad but was considered one of the worst survivor perks goes to show u just how insanely broken "good" survivor perks are. So many killer perks punish u for playing well its actually crazy, Ruin, Thana and Corrupt being the prime examples, 2 of them punish u because u killed… as the killer? And the other punishes u for getting a quick down. As for survivors perks like Spine Chill and Iron Will were never a problem but got nerfed into the ground but MFT can stay as broken as it is when it has no condition and no punishment

My thoughts on everything
iron will: funny how they buffed iron will to counter stridor that countered iron will only for them to nerf iron will so strider can counter iron will again
Ruin: The regression speed for sure should be around what you recommend, especially since CoB nerf proves that even slower regression isn't bad.
dead hard: only thing I miss about old version is free STBFL stacks.
decisive strike: I think disabling perks to prevent free escapes in endgame is a fine enough nerf by its self.
object of obsession: nothing to say.
self care: if my teammates were more competent with healing or gens, I'd run it less. doesn't matter if it's solo Q or a SWF who only cares about their own
gen kick perks: Funny and stupid how before big perk rework, CoB was fine. not to strong, not to week. after a few weeks tho with the Overcharge buff, BOTH got nerfed instead of just reverting Overcharge buff. every other gen regression perk was justified nerfs and I even liked the Eruption one.
BBQ and WGLF: I'd be ok with losing against toxic survivors who don't leave until the last second or toxic killers who slug everyone and never hook IF I had these BP perks.
thanataphobia: low percentages wouldn't be that bad IF they did more then gen slowdown. like add back the anti heal or add more like slower vaulting speed, chest/boon/cleanse speeds, etc.
Some of these changes and others I didn't mention probably shouldn't be effected by the double penalty if all are injured.
Calm Spirit nerf was one of the most stupid change

I feel like DS would be good if they reduced it back to the stun being 5 seconds but under the same rules as today's DS that it deactivates in the end-game and after doing a gen or any other action

Imo, they should have never changed dead hard recently, i genuinely miss the mindgames and viability of it in the first chase.
Also, DS should be buffed back to 5 seconds, but stay inactive in endgame. If Off the Record can be this good, why is DS not?
Imo the worst nerf i've ever seen in a perk is 100% gonna be pop . Pop legit rewarded you for playing good with tons of regression. Like 25% of gen just gone becuz you played well is fair. Everything in that perk was fair. But then it got one of the worst nerfs i have ever EVER seen in dbd's history. It became from 25% of total gen progression gone to only 20% of CURRENT gen progression gone. Wish means if you want ANY value out of it you have to kick a gen that is like 99% almost done in order to have decent value and even then survivors would just get it back so easily. Like who thought it was a good idea to take a perk that acually took skill to use and neft it so incredably Bad that it became from S tier to like C tier at best. And they were fine with survivors having circle of healing wish was an an infinite heal just by booning a totem for like 6 seconds . Fine with deahard wish at those times was basiclly free distance becuz it didn't matter if killer hit or not. It was on the survivors favor. Fine with gen rushing toolboxes prove thy self players. Legit fine with every single thing with survivors just becuz their thought it was FAIR becuz survivors can't fight back. I can't understand how did this happen how?

I wish they would've had Iron just not be active when exhausted instead of what they did since the perk is pretty gimmicky now. I only use it when doing full stealth builds.
DS have had a huge fall from grace since it is quite situational since if you are caught out in the open some of the killers can get you instantly.
Several other perks lost the BP bonus as well like most recently Prove Thyself.
You forgot about Boom: Circle of Healing.
