  1. To properly nerf/"fix" eruption is to either 1. Like Spooky said, add a radius on it. 2. Reduce the time incapacitation lasts on it. (Let's be honest, 25 seconds is WAY too long.) 3. Make it so it does the initial explosion on the effected generator and not regress it. This is coming from a person who doesn't main survivor or killer I play both equally and I'm more on the survivors side with this eruption, it's really not fair that people are just not allowed to do literally anything for 25 seconds because of a perk. If survivors were able to completely disable the killer from swinging because of a perk they would absolutely lose their minds over it.

  2. The talk at the end was very agreeable. Twitter is not at all enjoyable to be on because every other post is someone complaining about the aspects of a video game. If it bothers you so much, either don't play the game or use a build to counter the meta.

  3. As someone who quit DBD a ittle over a month ago I can say the biggest problem was just simply how boring the killers meta perks were. Having killers focus on gen regression rather then chasing was just unbearable. It's sad because I honestly enjoyed the old meta more even thought it had major flaws. I feel like ANYTHING is more fun then slowdown perk spam.

  4. Im a killer main but eruption is a massive problem because it just stomps solo queue and has no counter play other than not doing the gen, which just means you lose. Even bhvr admitted in their recent roadmap changes that theyre gonna look into changing eruption, because its clear its too strong. Before the nerf ruin was a much more interactive perk because it was a hex so it came with high risk high reward, and it encouraged killers to actually spread pressure and push survivors off generators to get value. Now people just stop mid chase to kick a gen in their 3 gen that has like 10% progress just to prepare eruption, its boring. A much healthier perk is corrupt, it gives killers a meaningful advantage at the start of the game when they always have no pressure but its also not too oppressive on the strongest killers

  5. 0:15 saw this happen live on Otz' stream and some people mentioned it happened to Spooky aswell. I was 100% conviced that was a hacker but man this one looks more clearly like some weird bug. Funn both clips involved a pallet being dropped before the killer.

  6. I don't think the current meta would be as bad if it didn't lend itself to the boring "go to gen, kick it, hit survivor, abandon chase to do it again to a different gen" playstyle. It's just stale and makes games take way too long. When a game that should take like 12 minutes takes 25 because the killer refuses to try and engage in a chase to end it and hook people it's just boring.

  7. Idc about killers running 4 gen slowdowns, but when they have 3 kicking perks you know they're going to hug a 3 gen and refuse to commit to chases. It's so fucking boring.

  8. There are people who still complain about Lightborn being "too OP" even though it literally just makes you immune to blinds and that's all (maybe the few seconds of the aura of the survivor as well, like with I'm All Ears)

    That alone should be enough to tell you to not care what others say and bring/play what you want. If it's in the game and not reportable, you can do it. Don't worsen your experience by letting the people who wanna police how you play walk all over you. You'll never win with them
