The Current State Of Dead by Daylight…

In today’s video we are discussing the current state of Dead by Daylight with the insane amount of content we have received in recent times, as a content creator and huge fan of DBD and someone who has 5k hours in the game, I definitely think this is a positive thing overall, however even I get overwhelmed at times with all the buffs/nerfs as well as new content, this must be especially overwhelming and hard to keep up for those who just play DBD casually. Let me know what you guys think!

  1. Its too much my opinion, let us have like a few months before a big change cause like so much within a month is great but oh god, way too much for me 😅

Note: they need to make SM fun at least and not nerf her to the ground, like bring back the 2 line sight but make it so that they need to be scan like 6 times then 3, something to make it reasonable and enjoyable then having free injures, sorry off topic lmao

  2. The problem with having too much content too fast is that the devs can have trouble coming up with new perk ideas and then we'll get perks that act similar but have different names or that outshine their other perk. (This is shadow from stream Nay btw lol)

  3. They will design the game for people who play consistently, cause they are the ones who pay money for the content, as evident in this video where you got a $$$ skin for each character.

Anyone can play this game, but it isn’t being made for everyone.

  4. My biggest issue with the amount of content is that it can take hundreds of hours just to get yellow perks on all the characters. That barrier to entry on a supposed party game is way too much for people. The game needs to be more user friendly so that new players don’t feel completely overwhelmed and quit before they even get started.

I bought a PC 6 months prior to cross-progression, and the grind to get my favorite perks on survivor and killer was too much that I quit the game until cross-progression was introduced.

    The game needs a rework.

I would absolutely support the devs slowing down releases to improve quality of updates and limit the bugs. Skull Merchant is a perfect example of maybe rushing out content that wasn’t the healthiest thing for the game and community.

  5. for new players how can you possibly learn all the killers or how to play against them? if youve got the hours you know already and when theres a new one its easier just to focus on the new character

  6. I think dbd suffers from lack of content. i do not see a problem with changes happening to perks. Most people don't even use 10% of the perks in dbd so a lot of that change are like non-existent. The killer that often get changed don't really shoot up in power-level or change drastically. the stronger killer remain popular while all others get left behind.

  7. I played the game all the time from 2020 to 2023 and then I took a few months were I didn’t play that much and coming back I feel so lost. I feel like before I basically knew how everything worked but now I am just confused most of the time.
