dbd need to nerf toxicity from survivors, like just nerf their negative personalities, I don't care how they do it, just get it done.

base kit corrupt would be great, nerf toolboxes a little bit, nerf perks like lithe and windows, and those perks in general that require you to do nothing to activate them.
A MMR system that counts hooks instead of kills, and score level instead of escape for survivor. Just shut down the sweat from both sides and Dbd will be better.
Honestly they just need to stop babying the survivor mains. Stop holding their hands, stop nerfing killers start making them having to learn how to loop again. I remember when the game first came our you needed to greed every pallet memorize the tiles know how to run them. Now it's pallet city every map and run from pallet to pallet. Bring back the days when both sides had broken shit. Those were fun. Stop releasing strong killer chapters getting all the money you can from it and nerfing them into dirt. Its literally false advertising at his point. I paid for a product I should be able to keep that product I shouldn't be paying for a product having it taken from me after a month and replaced with a lump of shit. I play both roles equally survivor is boring because teammates give up because they're entitled af and it's just a gen simulator. Give them more objectives and shit to do. Get rid of bp caps in matches this will make both roles feel more rewarded when they have a rough match. Change the meta every chapter and no don't nerf perks release better perks in the next chapter that changes the meta for both roles to the point you don't need to gut perks and killer powers. It won't be a balanced game ever. So stop balancing it. Just make it fun for everyone. It's not a competitive game like cod. It's literally a party game.
Lets hope bhvr will buff pop and pain res again like they did in the past and buff more killers like ghostface or xenomorph. Those 2 are my fav next to chucky. Monitor stays on my xeno builds for those free hits and catch survivors off guard.
Being onest everything will probably keep going this way until either there will be 2/3 bad chapter, so that people won't get hiped and distracted, making the killers focus on the problems of the game (but it's unlikely because behavior is doing a good job and getting lots of licenses) or either when the game get so survivor sided that the killer community will stand up/rage and leave in masses.
Best case scenario behaviour see people like you who try to go for balance and not for making the bigger group of player happy and things will slowly get better, but that is more a wish than a possibility.

To be honest with you I think the most problems with DBD are these reasons
1 the community
2 gen speed
3 the games feels extremely survivor sided and which it is (survivor sided)
4 the majority of killers feels too weak in high MMR/SBMM
but the most complaints I see coming from the people I hear are mostly the community in my opinion I think DBD is the most toxic community I’ve ever witnessed and it’s pretty obvious that BHVR do not play their own game because playing killer in most of my games feels like shit gens fly too damn fast to where I can’t even react
Tbh i am usually a survivor main but this is the first time in the game that I feel like I don't hate playing killer.
It’s insane how survivors are given buff after buff after buff, and they STILL demand more every patch because “Oh my SoloQ isn’t as fun as SWF”. How they fail to grasp that it NEVER will be, because SWFs inherently have almost every info perk available basekit, is beyond me.
I think the main problem is there is not really a single license they could add that would add more players as we've seen with alien bleeding players instead of gaining them
prove they self, with resilience, overzealous and hyperfocus, with a toolbox you can easily do a gen sol in about 30-40 secs,
I play both sides, and I'm going to be honest. Playing killer feels like a chore. When i play survivor, i actually have fun, but when i play killer, suddenly it changes. I'm not having fun. Gens go boom fast and anti hook with anti slug team are everywhere. This is why I'm taking a break from dbd. I'm trying out different games such as Monster Hunter and Metal Gear Solid.
The game is only survivor sided if every survivor plays optimally, with the right perk combos and the best items with best addons and them being a swf. This is not the case for like 90% of matches where most survivors are solo queue
Constant survivor buffs is killing it for me, a specific killer getting a buff and a buff to something in the survivor kit is so much different
It's been survivor sided since the beginning. Which I don't understand, it's supposed to be horror but there's 0 threat from the killer. Survivor perks are so op and never get touched killer perks that deal with any slow down " because gens FLY " was nerfed. The killers go with aura and they are going to nerf it soon. It just doesn't make sense.
Killers do have some extremely strong options to win like nurse or blight, so i'd propose another route to balanve the game: if bhvr doesn't want to change maps, survivor perks and items another thing could be to just skyrocket the power of let's say B tier and below killers
to win the game as a killer is just mandetory to tunnel 1 person out as fast as possible. i mean tbh this is a problem already for years BUT it was only the problem by weak killers in the way of killer power is weak OR the player who cant really handle the killers power. NOW since the killers got everything take away from them….gen regression etc… there is no other way to win the game (win equal 3-4kills) if u dont tunnel 1 person directly out. i love playing killer and i like to win , the same as a survivor. when i play killer i tunnel.. and when i play survivor i gen rush the shit out of the match. so the thing is…. why they dont give 3 hook stages and 1 or maybe even 2 more gens per match? or 3 hook stages and 110-120 sec gens? more objectives or longer objectives for both sides gives more room for comebacks on both sides.
i think bvhr is looking at extreme overpowered combos at top end and nerfing them and their compensation is buffing killer that are weak/underperforming. the problem is that the weak killer stay weak while strong killer which were viable become less enjoyable/ less viable.
No one can say that Blight with Pop+Pain res+Corrupt+Grim embrace was balanced. that is why they nerfed pop, pain res and grim embrace and nerfed blight but at same time, buffing nemesis to have some crappy hindered isn't gonna do jack to make nemesis get played over blight. the killer design that they have for weak killer is simply weak. 3 hits is just stupid mechanic. i am sorry. that is truth. Instead of bvhr trying fix low tiers, they give them plaster fixes that don't matter and then even when they buff a killer to viability like onryo. they just straight up nerf it so it really doesn't make much sense. they're nerfing billy next few patches, they're nerfing plague which doesn't need nerfs. they're gutting skull merchant because entitled survivors. so even their "killer redemption don't matter" because survivor just killer nerfed by d/cing or whiny xyz mechanic. they're nerfing weave attunement. I am afraid survivor favouritism will just continue and killer will just get weaker and weaker. BVHR will justify with high kill-rates. simple as that.

i played for 120 hours
and i can say, playing killer is so much more fun than survival even tho i don't like to play killer
killer there perk that are unthinkably broken against survivor
i've been my last game vs a doctor having the cannibal perk to remove your item if your damaged
then have lightborn so we cannot save with flashbang
then devour hope which is busted as fk
your a beginner to the game, how do you find a totem ?, well of course every player should GUESS to watch an freaking hour of tutorial on where they are
guess what ? jill valentine have a perk to find totem, but it cost money, what about the 4 store thingy with 2000 cristal shard, well you have like 0.5 % chance of having it for the 2 slot and wait every week for it
its so frustrating
dead by daylight give you kind of a bonus to play with friend and only let you play as competitive as possible
there no place for begginer, no place for fun, its all having the best perk in the game do all the work
they are completly lazy, and made a game that as the same problem as yandere simulator and probably fallout 76
which is a crap devlopper design cause they didn't know it could be such a big game

survivor with random is hell, but with friend it become a bully squad or ultra competitive to hope to win and i tell that as a begginner, i had 20 death in a row, first to die, trying to save other with flashbang, with all the perks i could have
what about killer?, they can tunnel one survivor, then try for the next one and when there is 2 survivor left, they can do the 3 gen strat as a last result and the game is basically over
there also the basement strat
there some issue with killer for a lot of them
the powerful can win a game easily without even a perk (skull merchant)
and you have the hag and suffer with even good perks cause she's slower then any killer and his a less good traper
there also the same problem with nemesis having bad addons and being..a less good wesker
yet its true that as a killer, you have the problem of OH FRIENDLY CUTE PEOPLE, mohww
AND THEN boom bully squad with 10000 hours without a shower a week doing anything to make your whole life miserable
i..i just don't get it, its been years and i've gone recently trough the game and could tell every problem from the first hour and understanding why people complain
That and in my opiniok there should be an speed penalty when 2 or more gens are being repaired at the same time cuz adding 10 or even 20 seconds to overall gen speeds those nothing when u can do 3 gens at the same time whike the killer is chasing someone, in the 90 seconds they currently are setup (and maybe remove that penalty when you kill someone cuz it might be insane too) also i would like for them to remove map offerings but that is another debate
Removed strategies: Camping and tunneling
Many dbd players say it's survivor sided, but it's only true if you're up against a good swf and they're bringing the best items (Green toolboxes with good addons and insta heals). They seen to forget that the majority of the player base plays soloq and many times they go empty handed into the match. If you played soloq you know how frustating it is, even a Trapper can destroy you lol
A lot of the problem is the maps, always has been. Eeyrie is torture with almost every killer and garden of joy isnt far off, they "reworked" them but its made hardly any difference at all. The worst feeling in dbd is when you load into either of these maps and you just know its a loss or a real struggle ahead
The game CANNOT be balanced around one eye for another. The game is the best its EVER been balanced and this is just another rage bait post to get survivor and killer players at there throats. Stop. Nothing needs to be changed and yes I play both sides.
If I’m being honest this is one of the best videos I ever seen talking about this and he is right about pop and lithe if pop is “easy to activate” then they should have at least nerf windows or lithe and one of the most questionable nerfs is deadlock which they nerf that bc it’s easy to activate which it is bc survivors complete gens so fast I’m fine with good killers perks getting nerf but ONLY IF good survivors perks also get nerf bc in my experience as a p64 wesker main seeing these changes makes me question about what are they thinking I wouldn’t be surprised if they buff distortion than they are showing that they don’t really care about the other half of the community
You are ignoring plenty of the good things Bhvr has done for killers.
Since Alien, every single Killer has been a good addition to the game in terms of fun and strength.
Killers like Doctor, Huntress, Singularity, Clown and Hag got tweaks and/or addon passes which strictly improved their gameplay. Hillybilly received an entirely new mechanic which helped make him one of the most powerful killers in the game.
And plenty of killer perks have been buffed to make them useful for some characters and even to the point where they are meta: Coup de Grace, Gearhead, Grim Embrace, Crowd Control and Oppression to name a few.
Oh, and I almost forgot, they got rid of the Hell that was Fractured Cowshed.
But Bhvr has also made horrible changes. The Twins rework was a tremendous fiasco. The Knight changes were slightly positive on the PTB then they scrapped the good parts and left with the worst parts.
And maps, maps have been a trash pile for years and years. Whether they are killer sided or survivor sided, bhvr's 1st pass on maps are always straight garbage. They toss 40 pallets on 30 unsafe loops, 4 safe loops, 4 jungle gyms and 2 god loops and call it a map. Nostromo is the best first map they have released in the past 4 years. And it's Nostromo, it isn't even that good.
There's a lot I didn't mention and more I probably forgot, but overall I don't agree Bhvr is making so many changes to the detriment of killers. There are definitely a sizeable number of killer buffs, whether they are equal in number or impact to the survivor buffs is uncertain to me; however we shouldn't ignore the good changes just to shit on bhvr or to reinforce our biases.
After mft came out I stopped playing as much, before I had put 1k hours in happily, now I hardly touch survivor when I play and I don’t play killer for hours on end anymore, I stopped putting money in except for vecna but I completely stopped caring about the skins or new chapters because the base game was so horrible, being unable to tell when gens would pop or when survivors would heal actually made me lose interest. now I can only hope that they actually try to save it and make the game enjoyable again. I’d love for the devs to stop making chapters and focus on the core game making every bit better and more enjoyable to play. Dracula had me really hyped but if the core game doesn’t get any better than I don’t see any growth potential for the player base
