  5. Old object of obsession was the exception of being an information that was completely and utterly broken. Like old dash hard levels of broken, because it made it impossible for the killer to mindgame anything and let you prerun around the map, and also it meant you could be in a SWF and basically call out where the killer was at all times.

  6. You were way off on survelliance bud. Its when a gen is regressing for any reason (ruin, surge, eruption etc) its shown in white, when it stops regressing it turns yellow. Survelliance has a ridiculous amount of synergy with a ton of perks. Ruin and survelliance was the king combo back in the day when ruin was good, and its still great with stuff like surge, oppression.

  7. You can use whispers to triangulate a survivors exact location. Ohtofu has a whole vid about it. Youre still not wrong, theres other better perks. But whispers shines most at the very beginning of the game and the very end. Survivors will not open a gate if you got whispers on

  9. One thing about detective's hunch is that if you are holding the pink map, all the things that the perk picks up are added to your map. So you can run the addon that reveals what you see from the map to others to the map and additional time to using the map.

  10. I remember when I first started playing dbd, I used Empathy as a killer info perk rather than an ally info perk. rather than, "Oh, my friends injured over there, I should go heal them." Instead it was, "oh, someone got injured over there, I should avoid that area."

  16. Surveillance is an incredible perk with a ton of synergy actually! Any time a gen regresses at all, it turns white, and if it stops regressing for any reason other than losing all its progress it turns yellow, and if it runs out it turns back to red, allowing combos like Surge+Surveillance, Pain Res+Surveillance, Ruin+Surveillance, Oppression+Surveillance, being Knight+Surveillance, and pretty much any other gen regression perk at all that doesn't turn the gen yellow (because that fuck's with Surveillance's ability to work)

A small correction: Lethal Pursuer doesn't increase the time of every aura reading ability by 2 seconds, it increases the time of every aura reading ability with a fixed time length by 2 seconds. In other words, abilities that do not habe a fixed time length such as Undying and Scratched Mirror are unaffected by Lethal Pursuer. The exception to this is Awakened Awareness most likely due to the change from the Wesker PTB where it continued to reveal the aura of survivors for 2 seconds after the downed survivor stopped being carried. This 2 seconds was removed but was likely removed by changing the time to 0 seconds; and so keeping the fixed duration portion of the aura-reading.
