I believe the issues with this game come from the higher-ups.
Bc if the devs do care about their game, they wouldn't consistently release absolute garbage updates so much.

Lots of people don’t like the update because of desync
Poor BHvr, they really work hard changing 5 perks every 3 months, and if we're lucky recolor a bottle. Good thing that in a $20 game, we have a $10 battlepass, over $150 worth of characters, and $1000+ micro-transactions. I don't hate the devs, but their actions are so frustrating. I love the game, and so do they, but they have massive fucking problems that shouldn't take years to fix.
I wish this game had competition, that way BHvr could be motivated to be more proactive.

10000% agree with everything u said about the ui/movement/bhvr in general. i only started playing dbd around the end of last year and holy fuck it’s depressing the way most players talk about the game/devs. so that little rant was super refreshing, props to u man

The Clown update is literally jack shit lol. the new yellow gas has virtually no usage, and they didn't make his purple gas any better. all they did was make the reload speed better and remove his exhaustion addons, fucking kill me

This is why, despite how specific and difficult Ghost Face's is, The Executioner takes the cake for hardest daily challenge in the game, all because survivors are assholes who would rather die than make the game easier on them just because some poor chap needs to cage you, completely disregarding that it would send you right to your teammates.

I don't really understand the view that the rework didn't address his core issues. Everyone complained about the lack of map mobility (the reload length too) and yet when given a speedboost bottle the general response is "lol how i use this?"
As for people clowning on BHVR, I understand but I don't at the same time. I do kinda agree that the devs could change anything for better or worse (dear jesus the ui isn't that bad you are capable of moving your eyes to gain information) and get angry responses. This is a learned behavior though, considering the constant clown shoes decision making they do. Things like iridescent head have been in the game for years and still haven't been changed so people naturally ran out of patience a long-ass time ago.
Still annoys the shit out of me when a blatantly good change is blasted for some esoteric bullshit like when mangled effect add-ons got changed to be until healed instead of a timer, causing people to bitch that they nerfed Vigil like anyone really gave a shit about that.
