The next Dead by Daylight chapter “Project W” actually sucks and the new killer Albert Wesker looks very generic and bland.
Considering that this is a big collaboration with the Resident Evil franchise, what we are getting with this chapter is actually very disappointing.

Albert Wesker, Ada Wong, and Rebecca Chambers are all coming to DBD. Albert Wesker’s in-game name is “The Mastermind”.

Watching this is 2x speed makes it a little more funny and a little less pathetic because it’s just funny that you don’t play res but drool over Ada who has no personality except she’s a spy and Leon likes her, unlike Rebecca who is way way better. 🤣 The argument here was I don’t like him because I don’t play resident evil, but I love behavior and they’re concrete building built on a sand foundation of a game, a more human killer with simper human abilities who has been a villain since the first game na lol let’s just put me x in the game so her can punch ppl because if my killers aren’t 7’6 I’m not scared, lol but I want a killer exactly like nemesis but without a gimmick who only appeared in the second scenario of one single game in the franchise, also a knife lol like the legion!! Kinda like Myers, or clown, or ghostface, totally no killers in dbd that Inspire or are downright copy and paste ideas from other killers lmao. If you’re gonna complain about a chapter let’s just go back to the last like 3 chapters with, a original chapter for the anniversary which a awful map who’s power is just a better onyrio, then we have sadako who’s hype was killed by behavior leading to the lowest used license in the game, then Mr NFT pinhead with awful animations and only gimmick was his voice lines, then mekalia mains who brung in the boon meta, the first res chapter which broke the game for months, gave us arguably the worst map in the game, charging full price for unfinished cosmetics, even the artist with another unbalanced map with the most boring gameplay cycle in the game just holding W, after playing resident evil 5 for the first time like 2 years ago I can def say I’m excited to play this chapter.

  20. Mr. X sadly wouldn’t work in DBD. He has no abilities other than being able to punch, and until late game when he’s corrupted by the T virus does he get a rush and jump ability. But nemesis is more popular than Mr. X and I think it was a better call then if they went Mr. X. Wesker is also popular if your familiar with the franchise. A lot of people haven’t played the games and only got into it from the remakes and think the older games are hard af or even boring (and if you think so your dumb lol). But everyone knows that DBD licensed killers get more playtime and hype than original killers and as a DBD fan, I haven’t been feeling the last few original killers, everyone after the blight seems uninteresting. On top of that the community is toxic and players are cry babies about “gen rushing”, which idk how it’s a thing when you are literally supposed to do that as an objective. I got side tracked, but I think it’s a good call on their part to have wesker come and for the survivors. I hope the game becomes fun again and doesn’t get annoying with people disconnecting or buggy gameplay.

  23. Here's a more basic description of his power for you bud:

    -charge up a kind of leap like Demogorgon and pounce over pallets and vaults, hitting a survivor with this will cause infection which causes hindered that will grow overtime. Back to the pounce, if a Survivor is hit by the pounce they will be slammed into a wall by Wesker, if there is no wall to hit, he will throw the Survivor at a wall causing them to lose a health state. Back to the infection, at full infection, hitting a survivor with your pounce instantly picks them up. First aid sprays can be found around the map and will cure you of the infection.

    TL:DR: he can jump a long distance while infecting and yeeting survivors, becoming a much more effective Nemesis.

    If you don't understand a lick of what I'm saying, please do research. his add-on list is something to look for.

    Also you can't just say that one character is more iconic than the other if you haven't played the games. In comparison to Mr. X, Wesker has been in many more games and was the pivotal antagonist of RE5, which is their bestselling game. Making him alot more iconic to resident evil fans, many of which started playing this game as to see the original RE chapter, garnering their highest player numbers at any given time. With the quality this chapter seems to have so far, many RE fans will come back to this game.

  24. I more or less share your idea upon Wesker, and trust me, people are angry against me calling me a smartass, but the truth Wesker sucks ass and won't add anything to Dbd. By the way, I never heard of mister x but I like him even more than that guy. Thanks for speaking for everybody, it's important to let our thoughts flow out, also I kinda like your sense of humor, it's hilarious

  27. Alright I do believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion so I respect yours even if I disagree. But there is no way Mr. X is the most popular RE Character the only thing that made him insanely popular was the fact that his AI was well implemented. Also the faces for the Franchise on the villains side are Wesker and Nemesis even from people that don't know RE know atleast one or the other, considering Wesker is in most of the games in general.

  31. I think Mr X would be too similar to nemesis’s play style and I think that Albert Wesker gives more room for more of an exotic play style that isn’t too similar to another killer, and I like the idea of him having voice lines just like pin head
