In this Dead By Daylight video we SEO with some Texas Chain Saw Massacre and then we go to Scott Jundβs house to see if Monto or Noob3 are still lurking around. After getting bored we call Zubat, Otz and Tru3Ta1ent to see if they want to go eat ice cream at Farmer Johnβs Magic Hans Guy Ice Cream Factory full of hens333 and Ayrun and JRM and you get the idea Iβm bored now MrBeast 69 forever.

Funny enough I (and my fellow killer) went against an 8-man SWF, was twice as brutal as standard.
Nintendo, hire this man… Wait, wrong person π
2v8 and chaos shuffle were good for me because the perks were less opressive. No super gen defense or super second chance squads. People are not that good in the game so getting cheesed got super rare. 2v8 made killers being able to play with friends so learning nurse without commiting a crime was possible.
Once i made a dbd tournament and perks had "points" cost to equip so i could balance the points like you said. Everything was good and super tight to watch
The currency system should be a ranked mode thing rather than base game so that if people wanna try something they can't on currency system they still can in some way
Choy my man. Stop bringing currency thing in every single video. Thats so horrible. Im sorry to say that. Its just my opinion. Limiting killers and survivors in competetive game destroys the fun for both side. And yes im say competitive and not party game because mmr existing. And this game have not enough players to have multiple game mode such as rank and normal. So… limiting people in the only gamemode its just not gonna work. Despite this, i agree with any other point you madeβ€οΈ
I feel like they should add an arcade mode of sorts, rotating game modes every week so it stays sorta fresh and the queue times for the normal mode donβt get messed up
Assuming you have done this already, but if you havenβt. Send your currency system to a fog whisperer or a big content creator. Iβm a huge fan of it
Another complication point on this currency system is that some perks are only strong/bad on specific killers. Like lethal pursuer on nurse/blight or jolt on m2 killers. So perks should cost different amounts of points depending on wich killer you are putting them on
Currency system at this point is now classic Choy meme. As great as it would be, sadly it is like beating a dead horse over and over again. Unfortunately, I don't think BHVR even considers doing that.
let's say if DbD puts the pick 10 system in the 2v8 mode or a separate mode altogether. I'm pretty sure DbD will screw up the 2v8 pick 10 system. I think they should put it as a separate game mode.
I agree with the currency system. But Nurse still needs to be nerfed. Empty build she is still too much. She either needs to get her lunge after blinking shortened, or have to wait a second after blinkg to swing.
Choy: 2v8 is fun
Me: meanwhile 3 gens get popped when i get a down lol
I would like to see a mode where the survivors have no offerings, the killer can select the map and there are no add-ons or items. For perks, players are locked to the character's teachable perks, plus a static new perk. For killers, a perk that decreases repair speeds by 60%, decreasing by 1% every second that procs at the start of the match. For survivors, a perk that allows them to pick themselves up and unhook themselves after being on the hook for 60 seconds, regardless of stage. I have a theory that these are part of the issue with the game. And of course, no SBMM but playtime based matchmaking (the more you played the game, the role and the killer, the higher the rating). This is just a theory based on the success of 2v8 and Chaos Shuffle.
as someone who never loses dbd matches, regardless of loadouts on either side. this video was entirely irrelevant. also catering to noobs based on their inability to play the game well has never benefited the players. taking suggestions from gamers regarding game balance is 100% lose lose every time without exception.
8:07 you no want hoes?!
I like βLights Outβ the best.
Iβm fully convinced that the only reason there is 8 generators instead of 10 is that all of the bhvr employees are actually garbage at survivor, so they found the most enjoyable ratio for them at 8 gens instead of the much more reasonable 10
What I enjoy the most is that Billy is now more manageable & fair
also late fish
go back to old graphics, bring back the old atmosphere of maps, revert the matchmaking to the old one and keep all the quality of life changes and keep every game mode, dbd is saved
bro im 2 minutes in just say the point system man. i know its coming and the buildup is still going. the pressure is gonna blow!
Just make your currency cost based on pick rate for perks / addon and on kill rate for the killer (And obviously make it affected by MMR so nurse is not free)
All I want behavior to do is fix their stupid ass hit validation servers. Times where it's supposed to hit doesn't hit, times where it's not supposed to hit, it hits. Fix map balance. Times where there's way too many dead zones and way too connecting loops. 8 years and most of this hasn't been addressed
they will never fix this game. sad but true
It still sounds like a good idea but might not vibe with everyone.
Maybe a different way to see it, color coded to mix and match. Don't scare them with numbers. π
I would at least like to play any killer in 2v8 especially Michael or ghostface
the spice melange!
I like currency system, sometimes want to try some weak perks, but with how much sweat the game rn and some of these perks are very very situational makes me not want to.
but if i can equip 5-6 mid/weak perks i will.
For me 2v8 should not be permenant.
if theres other mode should be 'ranked' for comps and 'quick play' for casuals.
Notice me choypie
My Killer Mentality for SBMM Mode: "If the survivors aren't going to hold back on their builds or tactics… Why should I?"
Honestly, it's all part of the game, and what the devs gave us, so there's no reason to hold back on tactics or builds. Anyone who does is either experimenting, trying to throw the other side off, or ignorant. Whereas anyone who goes all out is where the real challenge of the game presents itself. It's not fair, but it's also unrestrained and vicious, and if you can't bring yourself to being just as dirty as the other side, then you're playing the wrong game. Like it or not, DbD is a Competitive game! Deciding to play casual or experimental is welcome and, more often than not, fun, but it won't get you anywhere in the grand scheme of things. At least not fast.
Killers who complain about survivors tactics/perks just need to learn to be more ruthless with their own builds and tactics. Survivors who complain about Killers builds and Tactics, simply need to learn to accept them and adjust their own. Complaining about what the Devs give each side is a waste of time if you don't consider your own sides contributions to the fray.
DBD is a school of hard knocks: If you don't learn to adapt, you're gonna suffer, and there's nothing you can do about it, until you do!
I agree that its because it doesnt let the player use the strongest thing imaginable
The idea is for the points is fun but you will punish every swf team just because they are swf??? Not every swf is godlike comp team you know.
Because it caters to bad players such as yourself.
I think the problem with balance at this point is that most everything that feels unfun or oppressive usually comes from a combination of perks, and not an individual one (maybe distortion but ykn)… nobody really complains about slowdowns until you start stacking them, or like weave/franklins and enduring/spirit fury all being perks clearly meant to combo with each other, their parts are a lot less annoying to deal with than the whole. This and the fact that a lot of perks have alternatives with functionally similar effects… stacking healing on survivor or even just trying to account for how many different aura reveal perks and addons you may have to consider has made the ability to predict and play around each other's perks way muddier, which I think was a huge part of the skill and fun of the game.
Currency system supremacy stand UP!!!
"Thats why currency system-" ALRIGHT I GET IT
I hate the idea of a currency build system
I don't want any new system or perks to come to the 2v8 game mode. It futher complicates it and isn't needed. The killers with their abilities and innate perks is great and should be the way they continue. Same with the classes.
why are Survivors so salty all the time. i litterally got my no kills this one match and they just unloaded on my calling me names saying i should KMS just being horrid people. i was using Myers and trying out a new build and it wasnt very good. but damn they were so mean i dont even want to play anymore lol
I guess it's a hot take to hate the 2v8 mode.
Counterargument: Lights Out should've been in a similar boat as 2v8 and Chaos Shuffle, but it wasn't as well received (although people did like it a bit as a novelty). Nobody had any perks in Lights Out, so your opponents definitely weren't bringing overpowered stuff. Even so, it just wasn't as popular.
I think what makes 2v8 and Chaos Shuffle well-liked is that they're more chaotic!
Bro thinks the black ops load out system could help DBD and as someone with just a small fraction of your play time its kinda scary the dumb ideas I hear you people come up with DBD needs a ranked mode where yes you can limit/block certain perks/ad ons from being on certain killers/survivors or maps w.e the core game doesn't have to change all that much I feel like 1v4 should always be survivors against the odds and a scary experience as in your always in fear of dying thats the DBD I fell in love with that is the fun its ridiculous as the game becomes more and more survivor sided I keep hearing more and more how the game isn't fun smh wake you people are killing the game we all love just relax nothing is perfect….
While it sounds good on paper, in practice it would be a nightmare to balance.
To make it work they have to:
β Consider the strength of each killer, and give them the amount of points they need/deserve.
β Concider that perks may work on certain killers better than others. They would have to increase the prices of some perks because of that one killer or balance a price of EACH perk on EACH killer.
For example:
I'm all ears β busted on the Nurse, okay on any other killer.
Unforseen β a really good perk on the most of killers, but isn't very good on loud characters like The Knight for example, or Chucky with a whole laughing thing while undetectable.
BBQ and Chilli β really good on high mobility killers, isn't that great on others.
And I'm not even talking about the fact that this system would simply kill all the fun in making builds, because
"These two perks are too strong, play with something else!"
"Nuh uh! Rapid Brutality is too good on The Singularity! Play with three perks because of it!"
2v8 is very new. We need to give it time to truly see if it's still got the appeal once the honeymoon period is over.
I understand you're proud of your currency idea, but I stand by my past criticisms that it would only stagnate the game. You've made many videos on this, at this point it just feels like you're clawing for any shred of evidence or confirmation bias that it would work. Let it go brother.
No hate intended, it's an interesting idea none the less and it's good to see people looking at solutions to issues rather than just clowning on the devs.
