  1. I've always believed developers should embrace modders they give games life especially when the game stops getting support.

    Umvc3 is great example of it.
    The mods brought it back to the spotlight and now made it to evo 2023.

  2. I think a lot of developers are against mods/user created content because it's their hard work being "taken advantage of". Look at DotA; Blizzard made Warcraft III, a bunch of modders made DotA, some of them broke off to make LoL, another one got picked up by Valve to make DotA 2, both of those are multi-million international juggernauts…. and Heroes of the Storm died almost immediately after launch.

    When WCIII Reforged got released, they were very quick to make it a point where anything you made belonged to them because they didn't want to lose such an opportunity again.

  3. I was thinking about this whole nerfing killer this weekend. My question is are the devs trying to indirectly remove stress for killers. Think it this way that when dbd first came out during 2015-2016 idk the correct date people got into this cause of the scares and thrill that used to give. New dlcs came out new perks came out and people started to change become toxic and competitive in a game like dead by daylight. We as killers have come back to that play style like how it was back in the day. So my question again are the devs trying to remove stress for killers by just chilling out being wholesome and lively, cause survivors do the same thing in their own way by t bagging, flash lighting, gen rushing. Like imagine seeing Michael Myers getting stunned by a pallet irl how funny that looks.

  4. Left 4 dead (was my favorite game for years) was a counter strike game mode / mod first. Modded are dope to bad the big companies are trying to phase them out
