  1. (Shaun, director of photography/colorist on The Trapper): At this time, we’re at 217k views and over 1,700 comments, nearly all of which are overwhelmingly positive.

On behalf of the production team and cast, I want to thank this amazing community of fans. You all took time out of your day to watch our film and then to leave comments.

We knew this labor of love and sweat, would fly or die at the mercy of the gaming community. We did everything we could within the our time and budget constraints, to do our very best to meet what we knew would be your high expectations. So, to sit here today reading all your comments is quite frankly overwhelming.

We’ve been reading and responding as much as we can but they’re coming in so fast, it’s hard to keep up. Just know, that when you leave a comment, we’re reading it, even if we’re not able to reply to them all.

Yes, we’d like to do more and as many of you guessed by the tease at the end of the film, The Huntress could be next. So, watch this space and once again, thank you for your support. It means everything to us.

    Peace out ✌️

  2. You guys did a great job, actors did a good job convincing me they were scared/in pain and doing what they could just to survive, you could tell the trapper didn't want to go through with it as is the lore but that the entity was punishing him and forcing him and that whilst he didn't want it, he was fighting a losing fight trying to resist. The lighting was great, it felt dark but without concealing the details in the set or the actor's expressions and on top of all that you guys did a great job on keeping true to the game.

  4. in any case, if on the one hand this live action video is interesting, on the other hand I sincerely hope that a director doesn't take it into consideration or that they never make a horror film dedicated to The Trapper, if this means editing scenes/plot on the video game mechanisms of "Dead by dayilight", as it would represent a non-sense and forcing of the plot; if they really have to create a project or live action about "The Trapper", the killing method, it should be inspired by "Friday the 13th" and "Jason Voorhees" or genre; so I wonder whether Hollywood or the cinema spectator feels the need to see The Trapper, as a variant of Jason Voorhees?!

  5. loved that so much the game accuracy to the amazing acting, how good and realistic the trapper looked also the actors for meg and claudette. Thankyou so much for making this all of the small details like dwight biting his nails like his animation is awesome and I absoultely loved the hidden lore such as the last seen where we see him resist but the entitiy takes back control. Puts a different view point on the concept
    loved it so much
would love to see more of the DBD live adaptation ( liked the hint to huntress)

  7. I swear, you did exactly what high-grossing companies failed to do- make a film/adaptation actually edge-of-seat tense. The casting is incredible, the outfits are on point, and the scenes are slow and steady, building so much tension within each section. I cannot wait until you decide to do the other roster of killers like Wraith or Hillbilly. Keep up this amazing work. 🤩😎
