In this video I’ll do a side-by-side comparison of generator regression speeds between default survivor repair speed, base gen regression, Call of Brine, and Overcharge.

  1. It’s not just survivors complaining killer mains are complaining as well. Cried so much about dead hard that it got nerfed into the ground. I like the changes I didn’t rely on DS or DH in matches so those changes don’t affect me. Survivors and killers equally complain about the game and always feel like they’re being cheated. This meta will test out skill and show who really can play the game. No matter the changes you’ll still get those desperate no skill killers that camp and tunnel and you’ll still get those raggedy survivors who don’t do gens.

  2. @everyone saying "oh well this just shows us that ruin is trash", please remember that this is not showcasing Ruin's strength. Its strength is not in regression speed, it's in how easy it is to apply it. For CoB and Overcharge, the killer has to go and kick the gen, something that is very time-consuming, and the survivors have to not touch it. With ruin, all they have to do is not be touching the gen. At any point. Well, until the hex is cleansed.

  3. Choy catching whining entitled survivor mains in 8K 120FPS, this is pathetic, even I didn't realize how little of an effect Overcharge was actually having, think you could do a slowdown/regression stack video next to see if it's truly as bad as people are making it out as?

  4. Overcharge + Call of brine is the fastest, Overcharge is better in the long run while only call of brine regresses faster initially, but then reverts to base regression speed.

So Overcharge + Call of brine is a pretty decent combo overall since overcharge maintains that fast regression while call of brine ramps it faster than if it was just overcharge alone.

  5. TIL that overcharge stays at x2 regression speed forever. I thought it was like CoB where after the 30 seconds it would revert to normal regression. Guess this video shows otherwise.

  6. I've only gone up gen rush builds and seeing this just make me feel like just why do I kick gems. Side note I dont have the killers after Nemesis so I don't have all the perks and I don't think I'll buy them.

  7. I wonder if OC+CoB worth stacking now. It's only 30 seconds in the long run but I guess the fact that the perk is gone after one minute also says something. Not sure anymore. Maybe I'll run OC on it's own instead.

  8. The absolute hilarious thing is, they didn't think the nerf down to 100% was enough, they had to nerf it further by leaving it a hex that auto cleanses after the FIRST death. 100% regression is HILARIOUSly bad, so lets include an auto shut off of something that is easily cleansed in the first place, and usually was within the first couple of minutes of the match. I know they wanted to remove ruin as a meta, but did they have to completely roflstomp it into the ground and make it the single most useless perk in the game? I get more value out of the crows perk.

  9. Glad to see ruin nerfed to the ground. The fact that anyone would consider it justifiable at 200% is laughable. Didn't need it, but Otz showed just how skewed and OP it was in contrast to any other regression perk. I don't know of another perk that could single handedly carry a killer like ruin.

  10. Personally i still think that pain resonance is the best gen regression perk. It takes 15% of the total progress instead of current progress like pop does. Even better it doesn't require you to go to much out of your way to do so !

  11. I think you should've tried thanatophobia with max pentimento stacks vs overcharge and call of brine. I would like to see the difference in seconds between the two to actually see if gen regression is better than slower repair speed.

  12. Ruin getting nerfed atleast makes some sense, 200% regression doesn't seem that bad but you're guaranteed value if anyone leaves their gen. You can comfortably run the perk solo too assuming you can guard the bones/don't get screwed by map rng.

Overcharge + COB though? yea 600% is pretty good, but you need to manually kick the gen, ontop of cob only lasting a minute just for the entire ramp up curve to get negated by a blendy tapping the gen. The only time overcharge's skill check actually poses a challenge is against some spicy doc builds or if survivor tries to tap a regressing gen in the killer's face. Feels bad man.

  13. The issue is that killers are using overcharge, brine, thana and eruption. They also patrol and kick gens much more now, cutting down extra regression. This new meta is painful as survivor

  14. I'd really like to see where Pop Goes The Weasel would be. This was really considered THE gen regression perk. Survivors hated it and killers loved it. But if we look here it's likely slower than Call of Brine yet now it's nerfed. If you think about it, Hex: Ruin is worse than base regression because you don't get the new immediate regression from kicking it and it now deactivates making you down a perk all game.

  15. Well here's the truth and it's sad but yet making me feel like survivors will still get rush us even if they ignore the gen that's been kick but they be hiding waiting for it to just tap it πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

This next part half of it might not be related to anything but it just has to be said

U see why killers need to regression and the hand holding on the fact they Nerf or buff some of the regression perks idk what to say or feel all ik is that as long as the survivors most meta perks are changed and hopefully they try other ways now it should be fine but that doesn't mean we will still tunnel u out or camp u cause knowing the people with kindred if u think we don't have reason for what killers do then u play too much survivors to not understand killers at all again u want your fun and so do the killers we won't let u always have your ways so be salty and mad all u want for the killers playing the game their own way we not listening too what u want them too do especially now with some of the things being basekit if I'm not truly understanding anything then just like how most survivors doesn't want too understand then I don't have too I just know what I'm always seeing from other people videos and streams mostly videos as they break down everything as they play and talk about certain things explaining it that is someone that understands especially if they played the game since it's been released

  16. This shows how inbalanced the game still is vs killers.
If i as a killer need to have a perk to have a chance to win the game is not balanced.

A well balanced game dont has a "Meta" every strategy is good to Go.

  17. Why is survivor base repair speed 400% that makes no sense why bhvr? And gen Regression is Maximum 400 % with 2 perk combined. When a killer kicks a gen he should be rewarded with better regression.
Passive regression is bs but having a perk that buffs gen regression should be almost equal to repair speed.

  18. Survivor is struggling because of boosted MMR. It took zero skill playing survivor and there were games you never got chased. Killers are doing well now but it will change when everyone is were they should. We're not as good as we think I went from 80-50 percent winning as killer when MMR hit my survivor 50-75 now that survivor needs marginal skills and you can't be carried anymore a lot of people are struggling like old days not all rank 1 player are equal. Game is still survivor sided if you're a good player if you're not well then it's tough. Eventually you will start playing people your level and it will be better

  19. I think it’s 400% regression with Call of Brine and Overcharge. 200% with Call of Brine from the start. Then in 30 seconds the additional 75% regression from overcharge will become 200%

  20. Alright… I never used gen regression/slowdown because there's alot stronger/more fun strats that killers have and I dont find myself needing extra time.

But to anybody who needs to cripple gens so they have time dont go down as tonight's biggest loser, i gotchu.

Call of brine is the best regression in the game rn, instant 200% regression… you can use it on multiple gens at once and, its secondary effect is basically a sudo surveillance… so 100% ditch pop and go call of brine… even overcharge cant handle itself

  21. Hope your having an amazing day send my love big hugs to reeny πŸ€—πŸ’• also played about 3 half hours of solo survivor been having a blast it's actually scary and you have to work for your escapes truly feels like your surviving now.
But definitely think some perks can be alittle tough to deal with hopefully they will be waiting but also ontop of these potential issues. πŸ½πŸ’•
