If we don't all agree on one solution for a fix, twins are gonna get slammed in release with nerfs. We all need to think of one solution for this problem and hope behavior listens before making twins the least picked killer again.
My idea is that victor will latch onto the survivor on both health states when injuring or downing, and when injuring a survivor with victor Charlotte will gain 10% haste until he is crushed (injuring someone would not remove the haste), this lets survivors healing being the counter-play (again) but also gives survivors the decision to chose between letting Charlotte keep her 10% haste or letting her have victor again.
Pretty easy fix, allow survivors to kick Victor without crushing him. Kicks him back for like half the time of a stun. Copy Paste to Chucky after a dash while you’re at it.
Loop victor around a small rock(peoples issue is they try to loop victor like hes a normal killer, small trees and rocks work VERY well vs him), drag him away across the map so charlotte has to walk all the way across the map to pick you (wasting more time) this change is not a big deal people are blowing it up for 0 reason, nurse can literally go through walls lets fix that first yeah? put our focus on more important and problematic things in the game than what will be a mid tier killer. Love the videos but thats my 2 cents on the topic.

The fact it took them multiple years to make this change and it makes them worst is worrying. Its almost feels like homework they forgot to do and did it last minute.
I think that the "slapped-on Haste" is actually pretty good for Twins, as it allows Charlotte to get to the downed Survivor and secure the hook, instead of thinking "someone will get 'em", and rely on slugging, which is a stronger strategy for Twins than a simple hook confirm, but not as healthy for the game.
The thing about twins old design is it felt like you were getting punished for playing the game well. You injure a survivor? Victor gets kicked. You down a survivor? Victor gets kicked. You miss a survivor? Victor gets kicked. You land your lunge slightly elevated? You get kicked. The new rework fixes that but now makes it an unfun game for survivors. How exactly can they balance that
Imagine investing resources to re-work a killer and turns out, you're so incompetent that all the work you put in doesn't even end up making the live client.
There needs to be some counterpleas in the form of the survivors for it to balance out. Maybe make it so you cannot "hold" victor's pounce + reduce the size of the hitbox? Basically turn Victor's pounce attack into a Huntress hatchet – you can ready it up but then you have to launch there and then or suffer a small cooldown. Allows survivors to dodge/gain distance for quick launches/cancelling your launch.
But how else would they make their golden 60% kill rate on Twins if not for that change? After all new players must still be able to 4k survivors on the first try.
That dumb 60% balance change that some higher up is definietly pushing is the reason of so many bad killer designs and reworks recently. That's the reason why every killer gets a haste, that's the reason why the nerfed Blight only to keep buffing him. That's why they had to make Billy dumb easy with post rework buffs. That's very likely the reason why they removed flashlight interactions, even on Nurse. I just can't wait for Nurse buffs, because she's stable sitting on like 56% kill rate from what I recall, because she's hard for new players to kill with – I guess they might remove her fatigue? Or add more blinks? That will definietly end up being fun to verse and not breaking the game.
If that Twins change will go to live, I won't have any hope that they will keep making the game better – it's just statistics to them and player experience is secondary (if not lower). Broken killers like these Twins are definietly not fun to play as if you don't like having stuff handed to you (like how they did with Billy's chainsaw turnrate and window) and obviously are miserable to play against.
tthink the best we're ever gonna get iz that they run back most of theze changez and just keep the QoL stuff like switching faster, maybe also slap that haste effect on charlotte while victor iz attached.
we actually do play twinz a bit, and personally, we're stupid, we're crazy; we think the only way to ever make this killer concept WORK and not just be tolerable iz to go all out with them being two killerz. like instead of victor being just a freaky projectile, give him an M1, let him interact with objectivez, get a terror radius, everything. actually have their deal be that you control two killerz and can switch between them az needed. of course victor couldn't stay a 150% movespeed lil goblin, they would prolly have to tone him all the way down to 110 if they let him actually do thingz like hook ppl cuz hiz pounce iz so strong. (btw, our answer for how he actually carriez ppl iz kinda stupid, itz for real just lifting wut chuckster over there getz with the ghost carrying the survz and him, but for victor it would be like, the ghost of madeleine deshayes for the sake of being a lore character, and also we just like the idea narratively of her finally being able to hold him separate from charlotte)
but the issue would still stand of charlotte iz utterly dripless, even if victor iz 110 and she'z 115, even if just being able to split between two fully functioning killerz iz good on itz own, it would still feel a little odd to have her do literally nothing while solo. in lore she'z a little street rat thief that literally vizibly hoardz trinketz she findz in her cozmeticz, so while we don't fully have ideaz for wut she can do, our leadz so far would be either sum kinda stealth capabilitiez or have her uze trash from her stash to like. set up tracking thingz? like thoze hanging ssound makerz from chainsaw massacre??? maybe like, snarez or sumthing??? iunno. she lackz gameplay personality on her own, like yeah she wantz to protect victor but lorewize he wuz dead for most of her life, she had skillz of her own and she should prolly get a power of her own separate from him, one more strategic than victor'z angry in your face kinda power. but so far we got nuthin, and thatz all just pipe dream stuff anyway, we should save our effort for conceptualizing whole chapterz that wont happen instead.
This is on brand. Remember, The Twins release was the most scuffed, jank, half baked killer release we've ever seen. Only makes sense their rework would be equally rushed, untested, and brainless. The person or persons who suggested this be their changes never played the killer. Not once.

I like the twins. They do need some sanding around the edges, but this cannot make it to live servers as is. I could see the swapping time, but victor killing people so fast is a problem. I don't care if it's supposed to be 5 seconds between hits, it should be like 7, or they can enter deep wound instead. Because this is NOT what should happen to the twins. What's the point in playing charlie if Victor just dog walks survivors in 10 seconds, at that point her only use is picking up survivors.

a lot of this is solved by giving a huge cooldown on victor after a successful attack, maybe even removing the kick invuln
