In July of 2020 Billy received one of the biggest nerfs a killer has ever seen. Dropping him down from the 3rd best killer, to the very middle of the pack. He has since had very minor tweaks until today… It’s official, in the 7.5.0 Alan Wake Patch, Billy is back!… And potentially better than ever.
Billy’s had a whole host of changes to his basekit, addons & the addition of overdrive in place of the horrific overheat system. These make him feel amazing to play and most importantly way more beginner friendly. Which was one of Billy’s worst Aspects.
In this video I go over all his changes in depth, highlighting the key numbers with comparisons. I also take a deep dive into all his addons changes making which accumulate in 4 matches of builds I recommend trying out.

Btw, is speed when it's overdrive without engravins higher than double engravings before? By my calculations, when it's overdrive your speed's 13 m/s whereas with double engravings it's 12.5 m/s
