  1. Every match I play these days, the survivor builds are always Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Boil Over. It makes it easy to anticipate and counter, though. But yeah, it can be a giant PITA sometimes.

  2. Comparing a situational DH to -10% and kicking possibly multiple people off a gen for 25 secs is actually crazy🤣 there’s perks that’s actually can prevent DH if it was truly that detrimental. However it’s not. It’s just the only survivor perk that’s good enough to complain about.Eruption has no counter play outside of being an actual swf. Plus to the people who complain about DH you will just be 99%sprint bursted have your swing get weaved and just brought to a pallet that will be pre dropped 😂 stop asking for nerfs on others and start asking for buffs on your side 😂

  4. Edit: to say this is a long read about changes to dh and eruption nothing too crazy.

    Like everything in this game, it depends. Dh has more counters than eruption. Some killer powers and add ons can put survivors into mend which counters dh, tunneling off hook counters dh cause you put them straight into mend, deadzones counter dh cause in this situation you can wait it out, if you’re close enough you can bait out dh before they get to a pallet/window or even sometimes just not swing at the pallet if you know they have dh and swing right before the animation is over so they get hit before or as they drop the pallet you can even body block the pallet if they’re too far from it after the animation. Eruption’s only counter is having comms, or just not work on the gen when you think your team is gonna go down (which still gives eruption some value cause you waste time). That situation where dh is hard to counter is only scenario based, and you will not get value from the perk every single loop even from good survivors. For example that loop at the end was shown “an uncounterable dh” which you could have 1. Short swing so you don’t hit them or hit the wall and then body block the pallet. 2. Eat the pallet but don’t break it since that is an unsafe loop which can be won with simple red glow mind games, you also keep your blood lust build up when you don’t break the pallet so you can wait a couple sec more and guarantee the hit with bloodlust + mindgame. 3. Run stbfl and eat all the dhs in the world and stack up. 4. Mind game the pallet side of the unsafe loop long enough to see an opening or get bloodlust so that he can’t get enough distance to use dh in that manner. Dh has more ways to be countered, if you’re solo q, if you’re solo q you better pray that the killer doesn’t have eruption. Nerfs for both perks I say is make dh a one time use perk so if you bait it out one time then that perk is gone forever, it also means survivors can stack exhaustions but you won’t have to deal with dh every loop 3 times per person, you will have 4 dhs but if you see them use an exhaustion perk before dh like lithe, balanced, or overcome, then you know they won’t have dh that chase, but if you don’t see it then just bait or eat the dh that one time and it’ll be gone forever for that survivor. For eruption, I would have the gens within 32 meters (same as jolt) make survivors scream, and become incapacitated for 25sec (same time) with a 1 min cooldown but no 10% blow up or regression. If killer wants that they can equip Jolt. This reduced the gen kicking meta and promotes more chases with passive slow down, but you don’t have to worry about getting hit by it every single time a killer patrols a 3 gen and kicks all of them, now a survivor can run away and take the 32 meter range away from the gens or it might be on cool down by the time the killer gets back if they decide to slug. I just came up with these changes from the top of my head so they’re not perfect but still better than what we got rn imo, you’re welcome to disagree.

  5. I don't get how people complain about dh being uncounterable. The game has always been like this. You get a down, last gen pops, downed survivor has adrenaline and escapes the situation. But no one talks about that. Killers no ed, pretty uncounterable, nothing you can do there.
    Sure you can loop but the killers much faster and you don't know the killer has it until you're hooked. Iron Maiden bubba, only way to not get downed is to jump in locker from chainsaw but oops now you're exposed and 1 shot. No one talks about this shit. But notice how they are situational… like dh. Stop being entitled and complaining like a bitch.
