  1. I think the whole premise is that the unknown takes the form of what the victims imagine it to be. First it whispers to them, and as the victims mind races to comprehend it, it forms to their fears. It never says what drawing olivia drew, but it embodies all of her theories that she was bringing up.

  2. Imagine having such bad luck that the folklore you choose to research for school is real and now you end up getting haunted by the creature which leads you to be getting taken by the entity.

    I blame the school

  3. It seems to me that the Unknown doesn’t exist until someone attempts to define it. I think that’s why the entity snatched it as soon as it manifested in Olivia’s bathroom and why it seemed to be inactive for large stretches of time.

  4. So it attacks people trying to know what it is and in game you can counter his power by look at it, I think this creature is the stronger the less we know about it, and it hates people tryng to investigate what it is
I aslo think it uses a human carcass as a body to never let people see it's true form

  5. To be honest, after watching the new killer's abilities and several gameplay clips from various streamers on the PTB, I am very disappointed with this chapter…

At the beginning, with the various versions of information and trailers, the urban legends and analog horror atmosphere shown in the trailers raised my expectations for this killer to the highest point. But in the end, what did we get? A killer who spits poison, carries a fire axe, and has teleportation abilities. It's a complete waste of the terrifying atmosphere shown in the trailer, the chilling appearance of the killer, and the amazing details of the map.

I really hope Behavior considers completely reworking this killer's abilities. Although this killer's ability to down survivors is not bad in actual gameplay, it's just not in line with the information originally released… I hope the development team can remake this killer so that he can have abilities that match the original trailer.

  6. So basically for what i understand the unknown is like incorporeal and only takes form when given description, which makes me think did the entity really snatched it whole? Or just the part that olivia gave form to?

  7. This makes me wonder whether or not Olivia will become a survivor in the future. I can imagine how she would become obsessed with experiencing things like this. She might even seek out the fog herself.

  8. So unknown was also a victim, probably that's not unknown true form if it can mimic her voice perfectly and then the voice cracks as if it was attacked then I think his distorted his voice and body by the thing

  9. I read it as the unknown being an alien. Not extraterrestrial doh, extra dimensional. IMO it explains a lot of the behaviors and missing info gaps we get from his lore.

Starting with his Mori. He doesn't suck up their innards or anything through his tentacles, he disperses them into actual essence. Blood mist or whatever, and slurps that up. To me, that reeks of the psychic powers we see other dimension monster have in movies where the concept is applicable.

Same thing for how it attacks people. The trigger is to think about it, try to comprehend it. Doing so sends a sort of homing signal out into the proverbial void for it to pick up on and come after you through. From there it does more psychic nonsense to adapt its form accordingly before going in for the kill.

It also helps explain why it has the dialogue it does. It's not like Fiddlesticks from league where he's just repeating shit he' heard, he has a very clear purpose with his words. The actual communication is still very rudimentary though, as its predominantly relying on buzzwords that it noticed summoning other humans (asking for help, offering stuff, etc)

  11. i love how the unknown sees itself as badass. And has very mocking voicelines (Gotcha, IS this yours, I the nameless legend,I see you,The World at my feet) It also directly talks to us and the entity
