"All the magic of high fantasy …. look at me fixing this generator" ๐
Mike's corpse blindness spread to living creatures as well; I love it.
'doesn't look wholesome' ๐๐๐
Is Mike going to play a necromancy school wizard in the future? Hmm!
Yo I love Mike but why let the guy with no vision and legendary corpse blindness play killer
14:10 A Hook Horror Cameo.
I find this idea extremely weird, not just because theyโre putting DnD into DBD, but because Vecna seems like the kind of character who would overthrow the Entity, not serve it.
Iโm here for Andy immediately changing sides
We got Vecna from Stranger Things in DBD before GTA 6 ๐ฃ๐ฅ๐ฅ
I don't play Dead by Daylight, but I did keep up with it for a time, the killer brother and sister being the last one I heard about. I can't help but think that this is just Vecna taking a vacation from his usual schemes and plots for power to just meet The Entity and use its demi-plane to torture some souls he has captured or test some of his most noteworthy cultists.
Thanks for the upload and content. I enjoyed the video.
No idea why they chose people that do not play DBD to showcase this. This wouldn't entice me to try it out if I was a new player, it just looks clunky, confusing and boring. As someone who has been playing for months it's just painful anf frustrating to watch. They seem to not have an understanding of even the basic mechanics, and one of the players actively dislikes the game. Not sure why they decided to go this way when showcasing new content for a game that has been out for years
Huh, I might actually pick this DLC up. I very rarely play DbD, I'm with Andy, I like the idea but not so much the execution, basically just play every once in awhile with a few friends, but would love to have a sprinkle of DnD fun in it.
For a hot Minute I thought that's dehydrated Ganon. ๐
When a Survivor has a scratch on their picture, that means they are injured.
The devs, probably: "Look at our spooky game!"
Mike and Andy: just having the chillest time
Vecna was a really cool idea. But switching between spells is clunky, and recovery after casting them is so long they're basically useless, especially fly. The skeletons are trivial to avoid, mage hand doesn't last long enough to mean anything except maybe if you're stopping a god pallet. His most practical ability is the painfully slow moving sphere.
Very cool to see you play this! I like seeing D&D stuff showing up in more mainstream places, and all the interest and content being created for it right now.
You mentioned Stranger Things – I know there are Vecna campaigns available in D&D, so I'm not entirely sure if the characterwas created for Stranger Things or not. I suspect it's probably older, but I'm not entirely sure. I've played some 1st, 3rd, and 5th editions over the years but there are people way better versed in the worlds and lore than I am.
You're right Andy, they could have reskinned the generators for this level to be arcane batteries, or even just make them look a bit magitech.
Oxboxtra is the absolute best
I love you guys so much, and understand you are game reviewers. It's still kinda hard to watch you guys play without perks equipped ๐ซฃ I wonder if this explains why Andy had a bad DbD experience.
Thank you for trying new things ๐๐๐๐๐
Who played the killer in this? Clumsy the Clown?
Damn, people still play this crappy game? ๐ฎ
Personally, I cannot see the appeal of these sorts of games. But hey! I know they have a passionate playerbase. Enjoy?
When Andy had DBD as his "couldn't ever get into it" game I was so sad.
I am glad to see some of the squad at least giving this killer another go.
Dont forget, the entity chose generators for their trials. So that poor elf had to learn generator repair, 10 minutes at a time in an endless cycle.
Whose idea was it to add Vecna to this game? Clumsy the Clown?
Mike just face camped Andy to death. And Andy didnt realize he could unhook himself because of how close Mike was standing to the hook. ๐ ๐
In the immortal words of the blue alien from Avatar, "YOU ARE LIKE BABY! Making noise! No know what to do!"
If Andy discovered looping….
At last Mike put Andy in his placeโฆ though on a hook through the shoulder is a little extreme!
Better idea than generators, just doing a magic ritual to a deity's idol, can still go wrong and explode, still have to crouch and fiddle with stuff, is totally liable to open a portal to escape, thank me later Behaviour Interactive.
Can't believe we're getting 20 minutes and not the usual hour and a half
You guys should watch some otz videos before trying this lol, its painful to watch how new to the core concepts of the game you all are ๐
I presume this was a "ooooh, dnd relevant release. Quick! To the content mobile!" Situation? Honestly this game is tolerable with the full crew, but lacklustre with only Andy and Mike. No shade on Mike or Andy.
More oxboxtra dbd please!
funny how Mike ran past Andy while we was on the generator
those bots look annoying to play against
"Oop was that you doing a generator?"
Andy standing in front of a generator "…no"
God dbd already feels and looks so dated. Like, it looks and plays like a game from 2012 or something.
What the… two hands and binocular vision? This is Diet Coke Vecna!
๐ถ The Vecna Bus is coming
And everybody's running.
The generator's boken?
What were the devs smokin'? ๐ถ
Ah, a whole @4:20 minutes before the Bard talks about engaging in foreplay with a Dragon. It's a record. Congratulations. ๐๐
There's rat down there? Games are back!
Feels like one of those crossover events from a gacha app. Content that just doesn't really make any sense, and doesn't fit the game. I'm quite confused about what the devs think D&D even is, or why fans like it.
I love you guys but I do recommend you research some DBD content creators that can teach you how to play and learn some basics like using perks as you've missed a good portion of the content without.
The answer is Charles/Chucky from Child's Play. Fully recommend the Chucky show on NOW TV / Sky.
Although the Vecna does have a wider range of magic, Chucky did specialise.
Maybe they'll do a Stranger Things skin for the Vecna.
I thought Mike's lack of focus was due to running streams while playing, but no, he just doesn't pay attention when playing any games apparently.
