While I'm not a fan at all of face camping right off the rip at the start of a match or outside of end game collapse situations I really don't feel this is a good change, just less reason to play killer now since in currently stated format is would work if you happen to run above the hooked person.

So for the anti face camping, that has me worried, if i hook a survivor next to a nearly popped gen when just 1 or 2 gens are left should i just go across the map and wait where gens are already done? I love it when i join a game and 3 gens pop within the first few minutes so i kinda set up traps to hook survivors near gens where i can monitor them and watch for other players but now that seems to be out the window, love that stuff like boil over and top of the staircase on macmillan where even with iron grasp you can't pick up survivors which leads to spots people run where they know you can't hook them won't get addressed but hey let's continue to buff survivors gameplay to continue to make it harder and harder on killers. Maps with 100s of vaults and pallets, areas where survivors can go where you can't get them, let's nerf one mechanic killers can use in heavily one sided circumstances like gen rushing pre lobby players. In this game, to be a good killer you have to be great but to be a great survivor you have to be eh. They ever stop to think face camping is done when you are put up against gen rushing lobbies that leaves you little to nothing that you can do with most killers that isn't nurse or blight.

  3. Tbh you can technically still guard generators by putting them on the way to generators rather than on them. I’m sure when she comes out her few mains will find good ways figure out her drones. But it’s weird because her whole thing is surveillance yet they limit how much she can track people

  4. I can imagine that in the second phase of unhooking yourself they will like possibly use the entity legs as an unhook like a parkour type move lol but I'm curious to see that unhooking in phase two in action

    Let's hope that the skull merchant rework will satisfy some players knowing how half the community is I mean yes she needed more things to do with her drone I will admit that we all thought the drones would do more now we will get that I just hope once the ptb starts people will slowly learn skull merchant more

    Yea I mean we have a lot more changes to the killers trapper huntress trickster legion like wow there going to be a lot of work cut out on streaming dbd lol can't wait to see this in action but mainly we will be seeing skull merchant at least for a little bit until understanding all the changes with her

  5. I just hope SM can combat coordinated swfs and not struggle hard. I also hope her power feels stimulating and like she always has tools for various situations. I dislike boring killers like Huntress and Artist and others who do one thing and one thing only.

  6. As a p42 merchant the changes sounds good. But im worried about claptrap mechanic. Drones no longer have active mode only silent and scout. Which means we can not activate them remotely anymore. We can only recall them now.

    When it comes to loops, survivors will no longer be exposed. Instead if you run it healthy and get scanned 3 times you get claptrap and injured. If run injured you get deep wound with claptrap.

    The best place to put drones now will be in loops but that might make her still have a 3 gen just weaker. Because instead of on gens you probably can place them around the 3 gens.😂

    Idk. We'll have to see when live because i do want her to be a chasing tracking killer.

  7. I'm a little nervous about the anti-camp unhook mechanic, I wish they went into more detail there. Does your Terror Radius affect the distance? How many meters does it ACTUALLY apply to? I'm sure we'll see more as time goes on, but considering this is BHVR my guard is up

  8. Still doesn't see a nerf mention for made for this (I still don't see how it is fair you mess up get hit and gain a benefit for as long as you are injured, and it stakes with other perks. I am excited for the new changes.

  9. the other floor near a hook shouldnt count if youre below the hook, and nurse should have a larger area because she can teleport. a whole floor is basically a mile away unless there are stairs right by the hook
