  1. Yeah skull got butcher

    Tracking has been nerfed

    Chase and looping nerfed

They didn't even give her a chance,

Honestly getting scanned is just a healthy problem but being injured doesn't mean shit anymore

  2. I don't get how you feel off with the we're gonna live forever change

You get more healing speed 150% instead of 100%

Endurance is effect is on a 30 cooldown instead of a protection hit requirement

So basically the first person you pick up will always have endurance, instead of just no endurance because you never took a protection,

Only nerf i see is those situations that are

You pick up someone healthy, they get endurance

You get hit so thats a protection hit

You pick someone else right after, and they get endurance as well

2 survivors have to be downed and be nearly fully recovered, and you have to be basically healthy for this exclusive situation to happen, guess there's the made for this potential combo for this situation so you can do it injured.

This situation can't be done anymore with the new change of were gonna live forever, but it makes the another combo more possible

We're gonna live forever, we'll make it, made for this combo

Of healing someone off the ground for 350% healing speed, stack with a med kit 400% healing speed, 4 second heal is now more possible with the buff.

  3. I really hope they revert the SM changes if not she is legit just a worse trapper at this point instead of nerfing the actual issues with the kit the just butchered her everywhere

  4. I think Crowed Control is fine. It isna Hex after all. Its gona act more loke Devour Hope in the way that when survivors notice you have it, they'll go out of their way to cleanse it.

I think all hexes should be this strong for the trade off of permanently losing it for the trial.

    OR

Have some kind of bonus effect that actives when they're cleansed. Example. When Huntress Lullaby is cleansed, all skill checks are either faster Or smaller.

    Other notes.

They gutted Skull Merchant in response to survivors complaining constantly.

I think they should have removed the Hindered on Skull Merchant, give big buff to Killer Instinct Duration and adjust add ons accordingly.

Overall, this is a heavy survivor sided patch. Nerf more slow down while also buffing gen rushing (and stealth)? Why????

  5. I expected the haste nerf, but removing scan lines too? Yikes, she seems like a legion with extra steps now. It doesn't say whether that affects haste with claw traps though, so hopefully she still has at least that

  6. As a Twins main I think the small nerfs they got are fine. Some perks are really weird. Crowd Controll was already good and now it´s too strong in my opinion and if someone runs it with Blood Favour it will be a horrible time for survivors and because of this and other Hex perks being stronger, Pentimento might become problematic tbh.

  7. I said this to friends of mine, never expect BHVR to score continuous back to back perfect patches, I knew for a fact when you put 'skull merchant' in anything, its going to be something bad, because BHVR seemingly have no idea what to do with her.

I don't have enough experience with skull merchant to give an in depth reasoning, but even I can see that nerfing her with literally zero compensation is completely and utterly tone deaf and focusing more on the people who bitched rather than the people on both sides that wanted the killer to be fair for both ends, you are literally now shooting yourself in the foot if you play SM.

Unknowns changes baffle me not in a sense that they are bad, but the justification for the changes are very poorly worded. Because people will still run the vanishing box and blurry photo even if its partially base kit, cause sometimes its actually better than the original.

Decreasing its movement speed sooner is worded so oddly, when the very reason why its being nerfed is because most high tier unknown players would UVX Bait on pallets to force survivors to try and go for another run around, which always gets them hit, leaving little to no room for counter play.

Had they said that, the reason for the nerf would make sense, but the way its worded is really odd?

  8. I may have not been the biggest fan of going against Skull Merchant, but yeah that is an absolutely horrible nerf. There’s no way that can make it to live servers. She’ll be the first F tier killer if so.

  9. Sorry that the plushie didnt work out :/ rly hoped we could meet that goal but ill support it in the future, if youll go for another shot!

now the patch notes tl;dr from me:

SM complete overkill, Billy reasonable and unknown is… fine i guess? cant rly tell how much this changes in the grand scheme.

perk changes are rly cool and sometimes confusing (zanshin was totally fine? who complained about this? DMS change is… wild?). Teamwork perks not completly useless (but probably not good either).

  10. I never hear killer mains complain a perk of theirs is too strong can’t say the same about surv mains. Either way these updates won’t last 😂so no need to even change our go to builds.

  11. These changes are horrible I think it’s time to quit the only perk that countered aura spamming abilities is gone, dead hard gone DS gone. You just get tunnelled with no way to stop it. Yeah after this update I think I’m done.

  12. im an aura reading enjoyer it helps me find my next target fast and begin chase instead of running 4 slowdown and looking for half n hour to find someone then just tunnelling someone i find because blood and sound.

zenshin was supposed to be an info perk and predator. so they made them do those things better. predator they could've done more with making scratch marks bigger appear more often maybe they change color based on how long ago they were left, maybe you see scratch marks through walls. those would've been more interesting ideas but its not the end of the world for sure its just a meh perk now.

  13. Honestly Skull Merchant never bothered me much. Merchant can be annoying but so can any other Killer, it is the PLAYER that determines how proficient they are at the killer. The only thing that really bugs me about Skull Merchant is her physical design. She is supposed to be a millionaire that hunts people for sport in secluded area's and you are telling me she wears henchmen clothes and kills people with a Predator wrist blade. It most certainly wasn't cheap to transport those people to those secluded area's, but she is cheap when it comes to her clothes, she couldn't wear something more frightening or technologically more advanced.

  14. Not only is this Skully nerf just a ridiculous kneecapping, it doesn't even fix anything. Survivors complain she just presses M2 at a loop to shut the area down, but the nerf doesn't even really fix that playstyle. Anyone who plays her will still do that anyways, it's just gonna take longer to down the survivor. I thought they were REWORKING her. Maybe nerf M2 at loop and in exchange give her a unique selling point, because unless the survivors are simply unobservant and run into scanlines outside of chase she's just Clown with extra steps. But no, they're just making her an empty slot.

  15. So as someone who recently played with Distortion when the dracula perks came out… The Distortion Change was not necessary because good lord, Immediately I ran out of tokens because I was next to a chest and the Killer had Weave Attunement and Dracula's Chest Perk.

The change to Distortion was SUPER unnecessary.

  16. I took an sad, Skull Merchant is my favorite female Killer. Knight will always be my top male Killer. I tested her in Lights Out, it wasn't good. They better fix her. Survivors need to learn her counterplay instead of complaining. And before anyone accused me of being only a killer main, I play both sides. I don't like what they did to my girl, this will only cause SM players to play harder and be more ruthless.

  17. They nerfed Distortion a little too heavily, there's multiple aura reading perks for killers + the maps are becoming smaller. This is going to be really rough to deal with once this patch goes live.

  18. Hate the mori changes, they were fun and silly and now you can only get one per match, hate the skerchant change for obvious reasons, this whole thing seems to be a very mixed bag. I love aura reading but this is overkill
