I've got just a few hundred hours in the game and I've finally realized after making it to survivor rank 2 quickly? That what makes a good survivor ISN'T looping (That's extra credit), but what does is knowing exactly the area the pallets are gonna be at (Whether you loop or not), and generator efficiency. I say to new players, stop trying to loop and start trying to learn the pallet layouts (: Also, play both sides evenly and you'll get a much better picture of "Mind Games". Clutch survivor perks are best, and generator defense killer perks are the best (Legit on this one, almost every other perk is for fun when you play killer). Just made it to rank 3 on killer and its been super fun. Quick tip! The first two gens are free (If you catch my drift on this one), focus on destroying pallets for your first two gens if you can keep a constant chase (This will help during late game, one or two gens left). Also focus on getting EVERYONE on the hook, most times it's actually best to skip survivors who are the strongest on their team (Save em for last, without pallets they're done anyway), and it's also best to skip survivors who've been hooked more than once when others haven't been hooked at all. In fact, I've learned a lot of this from just watch TrueTalent over here. Thank for the content and tips brotha (:
I think the reason they slug for the 4k then give hatch is so that the survivor knows they're being given the hatch and not just getting it because they managed to outwit the killer. I suppose it's a bit odd but I do do it sometimes.
