It’s because it only “hits” the survivor when the ball thing explodes, a direct hit is supposed to give them hindered according to the power
Another underwhelming original chapter. Buildup to this chapter was scary with the killer crawling around. But we get a killer that doesn’t crawl & for some reason has an axe, despite have 3 tentacles that would be a perfect m1. New map is garden of joy with a theater instead of a house. New survivor looks like the same character model as yun-Jin Lee. Looks like an 8 year old design this killer
Think I'm falling out of love w/ DBD. Wanted to like this killer so much, since it seemed to be the closest to 'The Thing' out of all the other releases so far, but it just feels very low-effort in terms of design. Could have been a great opportunity to finally make a doppelganger killer, where he mimics survivors only to leap out as a deformed monster. I dunno. This just seems like another combination of other killer powers (Hag & Singularity w/ damage instead of cams). Hope y'all have fun w the new chapter tho. Peace
