  1. I can definetly see it going both ways in terms of how much fogwise will be used in the meta.
    On one had it's totally based on rng of getting a skillchecks and having the skill to consistently hit it on the great area, on top of that it prob won't be used in swf team with comms since usually the communication between each other is enough to basically know where the killer is at all times.
    On the other hand, it still can be heavily used when it comes to solo surivors and can easily have builds made around it to improve its usage, like other perks that give benefits for great check and perks the increase the rate of skill checks.
    For now we'll just have to hope for the best and wait to see how common it becomes once the chapter releases to the public.

  2. Myers just needs a buff to enhance his efficiency to get out of tier 1 and not run out of stalking juice with a bit better stealth that can’t be negated by aura perks from survivors. He should be the ultimate stealth killer that can only be tracked by eyesight imo.

  4. Hi Stalky Boi I have an amazing idea for a Myers buff.

    Personally I think Myers is due for a rework now that he's the only stealth killer in the game who's power and stealth becomes useless/unusable at a certain point of the match. And Myers is supposed to be a stealth killer so I'm not a fan of the way tier 2 works and haven't been since release. First since people enjoy using the mirrors, The Shape (much like The Pig) should have access to no terror radius or red stain. Remove tiers all together. Instead, he gets two modes stealth and stalk (The names could be changed to something more creative or just left simple, this is merely just the design. BHVR are more skilled when it comes to aesthetics than I am). While in stealth he moves at basic M1 speed, has a regular lunge, no terror radius or red stain. He also has a faster base vault speed than other killers (so he performs feats we have seen in the films). Stalk will act similar to how it does now with the only difference being there is no longer a limit to how much people can be stalked (and maybe have the range improved). Though something must be implemented to prevent you from just tunnelling one survivor. For example, when you have stalked a survivor to a certain point they will be locked and you have to go to someone else. Once you have used your power and it runs out you will be able to stalk them again.

    The Shape feels very underpowered to play when you no longer have an ability to use his power and can't truly rely on stealth without the use of ad-ons. When he has fully stalked enough to trigger his power, he will get a small percentage faster (say anywhere from 4% to 8%), perform actions faster (like a base kit bamboozle and brutal strength speed buff, possibly stun recovery as well but you could add a penalty like a 2s decrease on your power duration when hit by a pallet), have a slightly longer lunge (say 10% to 20% more distance) and have the same ability to insta-down you or kill you with the use of an ad-on that will immediately end the power once a survivor has been killed. His red stain could be present so that survivors can better locate him while he is using his power or that could still be gone to make him one of the most un-predictable killers. His iconic music will play but I suggest a twist here, instead of the regular radius I think it would be innovating to have a map wide terror radius (like the legion pin) for extra scares and unpredictability (like in the flims you never know where he will come from or who he will target). To compensate for these changes BHVR could make it take longer to fill his power so it still feels rewarding and fair to both sides (anywhere from 15% to 25% extra stalking needed). A decent duration for this given how gifted some survivors are would be anywhere from the original 60s to 90s (with the use of add-ons or they could increase the base duration). His more powerful ad-on combos would have to be tweaked because an infinite power Shape that can kill instead of insta-down wouldn't be very fun to play against with these changes and that never pleases the entity. It will also bring him more in line with Ghost Face as he's able to get constant use out of his power and is able to perform very effective mind games by using his power in loops to remove his red stain.

    These changes will make The Shape a more viable killer at high MMR's without making him too strong to break the game's balance. It will also reduce his reliance on ad-ons to feel powerful. I know Halloween/DBD fans would appreciate these changes and even veteran DBD players would feel their heart pace when that music plays and The Shape surveys! (I couldn’t resist.)

I find it bizarre that MM is the worst "stealth" killer in game but the best out of it (if we exclude his portrayal in halloween ends) I think his power should just be stalking and getting tier 3. Tier 1 and 2 should just get combined. Make myers have a permanent ghost face stealth that survs can't break you out of it. No red stain, no terror radius, regular speed, lunge and other basic M1 qualities but I do think he should be able to vault faster at base too like he does now. As for tier 3 this is where it gets interesting. When myers activates his rage instead of a regular terror radius I suggest a map wide one with the same iconic music. His red stain could appear here since it might be too strong without it. I also think he should get more buffs to further show just how brutal myers can be. He should get a little faster say anywhere from 2% to 5%, have the same ability to insta down you, gains temporary base kit bamboozle, brutal strength and possibly enduring (if enduring is included you could add a 2s penalty to his power duration upon being stunned, they will not stack with the actual perks and you will only receive the vault speed from the temporary bamboozle). Finally he should also get a longer lunge in his power (say anywhere from 10% to 20%). So that you always have a chance to use his power I think you should always be able to stalk survs too. I think it's tragic that he's the only killer in game who's power and stealth becomes useless at a certain point in game. So survs now will have infinite juice, however to counter killers that would just tunnel one surv for the power I think he should need to stalk a minimum of 2 survivors to get his power and you can only get a certain amount of juice from one surv at a time. As soon as his power ends all the survs will have their juice re-filled. His add-ons would need some serious changes after this but personally this is what I want from myers. Perma stealth till he rages and you always have the ability to rage. No more games where the juice runs out.

  6. the world is ruining myers for me, the movie sucked the boogeyman isn the boogeyman anymore, plus dbd is making him even in the game less scary I'm starting to say goodbye to my boogeyman I'm very upset for it. but it is what it is its just a character but the shape wont ever be seen the same again. thanks to those who ruin joy to others.

  7. If we're being real, if you're going against a 4 person SWF with coms, they usually always know where you're at anyways. This seems like a solo que perk and I'm thinking won't be a big deal.

    Though I am hoping for a Myers rework or something to bring his power into 2022. Power creep has not been kind to him at all.

  8. Me as a Michael Myers main I think from the videos that I seen last night of that perk it’s going to be the downfall of Michael Myers. The whole thing is to be stealthy and creepy and sneak up. If they can see you there goes that whole aspect of the game

I used to run mindbreaker because otherwise I would just get destroyed by press E to win gamers. every game I wished that I didn't have to spend a perk slot just to have a fighting chance, which was made even worse by the old progression system requiring barbeque and chilly just to make it bearable. so I either had to have a gameplay disadvantage, make the grind worse, or have only 2 perk slots. if fogwise becomes even remotely common I fear that I'll need to go back to having one less perk slot just to not start with a big gameplay disadvantage.

  11. I legit don't see how it's a problem ONLY for Myers. if you don't plan on going pass T1 you're most likely running a Scratch Mirror build and will be undetected the whole time and the perk is useless against you. if you do go pass T1 then you're just a regular killer.

I've already tested this with a few friends in the PTB, it's pretty cancer but what makes it even worse and more consistent is when you combine it with smth like Hyperfocus or Steak Out, to get many more skill checks or to just have your good skill checks turned into great skill checks. It was horrible to deal with because my friend could always see me and pretty consistently too, I didn't manage to sneak up on him once that round.
    I seriously have no idea what they're thinking when making these perks lol

  13. Fogwise, hyperfocus, stake out, sprint burst is a build I saw in the ptb and I could never find them as by the time I can even think about going to the gen they are working on they are already gone and working on the next one lol

  14. What I use so that Myers basically has undetectable whenever he wants is trail of torment. People don’t realize that it’s so scary not knowing where Tier 3 Myers is at all times. Just by him kicking a gen it changes the game

  15. Sneaking up on survivors working on gens is usually the way how myers get stalk. Now imagine if you find the perfect spot where you just see enough for stalking and they don't see you but they're running this perk, saw your aura and moved away, that for sure would suck.
