  1. 9:34 I used to be like that for a time. I didn't do this kind of thing in dbd, I was just a massive turd to all the people around me, but it still stands. You're right, it's because I had a piss childhood, and then I lost sight of my empathy and morals. After a lot of work, glad to say it's no longer the case.

  2. here is the thing, hackers will not go after Otz or Hens due to the support they have behind the screens, if someone with 2k+ gets targeted BHVR would jump on it like there is no tomorrow, since it is about people that have just enough viewers to make a living out of without having enough viewers to put the game in a bad daylight, they will be easier targeted. it is sad that this issue has been in the game since pretty much the beginning of the game, and bhvr has done nothing to safeguard ip"s etc… it should not be up to us to buy vpn services to get rid of specific targeting…

  3. I guess it depends how much you care about those who are targeted by cheaters. If you made your living off of playing DBD and every day in every match you have cheaters who hold you hostage. You will slowly lose viewers which means less income to a point where you can no longer make a living. For the average player, we may never deal with cheaters and if do it is likely subtle cheaters. But for those streamers I feel like it matters a lot to them. I mean imagine if they targeted you as some sort of vendetta, that even if you had no reaction they didn’t stop. What would you do if they never stopped, these losers have no life. Sadly not all streamers can move onto another game and expect their viewers to stick around. For them the cheaters are taking over their lives.

  4. Pretty much what it boils down to where they are just miserable in real life and want to take out their anger at other people to make themselves feel better about themselves (for some reason or some how) because of their god complex of having control over people

  5. i think we need an abnormal behavior detection in the game, not straight up banning and reporting, but if an impossible situation occurs, everyone is notified that they can dc with no penalty

  6. I think Hens overreacted because he wants to help one of his friend. People have a weird level of ranking people irl. Sure i think what they do is stupid but they dont rape kids, they dont beat elderly ppl, they dont kill anyone. If you check comments its like they are the worst human on earth. Saying grown ass man is also overused. "Grown ass men" likes to wear diapers and be treated like babys,"grown ass man" plays pokemon…..cmon. Hens is talking to criminal while they are breaking the law at the compagny he works for. Lucky they dont fire him.

  7. If I was a cheater I would never cheat with a streamer because they have the video and can get me banned. I would cheat with the regular community with subtle cheats and it happens ALL the time. These guy just doesn't know what's going on in the community for the majority of us anymore, sad.

  8. I think for a lot of them it's an anger outlet, they aren't happy with their own lives and making other people miserable makes them feel better about themselves because they aren't on the receiving end of the negativity for once. Obviously I don't think they realise this themselves though.

  9. I did a small personal experiment to see how many cheaters I encounter as a mid range mmr survivor. In a sample size of about 200 games, I encountered 2 rage hacking survivors and 1 rage hacking killer. The subtle cheaters were what was way more interesting. I found around 6 total subtle cheating killers while using an iri key with blood amber to watch them counter my double backs through walls with no form of aura reading that could have revealed me. Now in truth their double backs could have just been remarkably well timed but they were usually as though we were at a loop that had no LoS blockers. I think it's most likely smart teenagers/sad adults with nothing better to do during their day.

  10. I would not be surprised if part of the Russian cheater thing is them getting paid to fuck with random people in America and Europe, considering both Russian and china are confirmed to pay people for social media posts just to make peoples day a little bit worse or sow a little more uncertainty. Also a lot of the REALLY blatant cheaters, especially the ones that target streamers is them basically trying to advertise the cheats to people.

  11. One thing I disagree about is the fact that normal players don’t encounter hackers. I have gotten 2 blatant hackers in the last month. Both times I was held hostage. I have videos and I’ve already reported them. But I’m not a streamer. I play this game a lot but not full time. Saying “normal people” playing this game won’t encounter hackers in 99% of their games is just wrong.

  12. Sad to see bhvr not improving eac since it is possible proved by creators of old dbd who made old dbd being possible to be played peer to peer and whit dedicated servers
