Hey everyone, today we’re looking at 10 survivor builds. These are some of my favourite ones that I’ve used throughout the year, and ones that feature perks that have been added this past year too. Let’s get into it.

Chapter 23 has been announced! It’s Ringu, a licensed chapter releasing in March of 2022. For now we have no further details.

Music used from YouTube Audio Library:
The Emperor’s Army – Jeremy Blake
Clean and Dance – An Jone

Hope you enjoy!

  1. Agent of the Entity build:
Bond (to locate your teammates so you can limit their progress or lead the Killer to them)
Flashbang (to blind your teammates and alert the Killer to their location)
Repressed Alliance (to block gens so your teammates can't do them, works better with 3 gen setup)
Technician (tier 1 specifically, since that provides a bigger gen regression per failed skill check. also makes it so you can work on gens indefinitely to charge Flashbang and Repressed Alliance, while damaging their progression)

NOTE – Bond or other perks can be swapped out for perks like Deception (to alert a Killer to a location or even a hiding teammate), Red Herring (to alert the Killer to a gen that's being worked on), Inner Healing (your teammates likely won't be healing you once they smell the sussiness, also destroying totems stops Boons and helps Hex: Pentimento. It may interfere with Hex: No One Escapes Death and Hex: Plaything though), Self-Care (sort of time inefficient, but an option for healing since your team may turn against you), Diversion (not as good as other troll perks because you risk being caught by the Killer trying to charge it and as an agent, the Killer doesn't know your allegiance to the Entity, but can be useful for selling out your team), Empathy (not as good as Bond, but it can serve a similar purpose), Left Behind (after you've gotten your team killed and its time to make your escape, this can be pretty handy), Object of Obsession (for master agents only, your presence will lead the Killer to a location, making sure your team is there when the Killer finds you. can turn against you, best paired with Bond), and Self-Preservation (since in an optimal scenario you'll be leading the Killer to your teammates, allows you to escape just in case they try to slug).

  2. My custom build
    Windows of opportunity
    Visionary
    Small game
    Bond
I call it the "Aura abuser"

I don't really have to explain why I love this build so much.
Windows let's me get an edge on chases, plan my routes accordingly for maximum area awareness and escape potential.
Then visionary gives me the aura of gens nearby so I always know where objectives are. Small game is for totems, this is great for me cuz some killers are hex pricks so this gives me an edge. And lastly bond to let me see my team mates.
You see why It an aura abuser, this gives me a visual of pretty much all I need (would add object of obsession but I'm not a masochist)

Should probably call it a daredevil loadout cuz this basically gives you sight beyond sight, wait, yeah I got it! I'm calling this the "sight beyond sight" build

  3. For Survivors, there’s an OP gen build that includes Streetwise (or Blast Mine), Built to Last, Prove Thyself, and Repressed Alliance along with a purple toolbox with both charge addons. The speeds when people are repairing with you is so ridiculous

  5. If you want a good No Mither build… No Mither, Dead Hard, Spine Chill, Lucky Break. Since you don't leave blood, you are basically invisible for the first 60 seconds of the trial and can go where ever you want which is a big plus for NM since you want to avoid being the first one found.

  6. The 'Splatter the pain' Build

    Shadow Step
    – removes your blood trail and scratch marks and your aura wont be revealed to the killer

Circle of Healing (or Self Care)
    – heal yourself but you need to bless a totem
    (for Circle if Healing)
    – heal yourself but you dont need to bless a totem
    (for Self-Care)

    Bite the Bullet
    – healing sounds are reduced and when failing a skill check it will not notify the killer

    Iron Will
    – grunts of pain are reduced to 100%

  7. One I've been wanting to try out when I get the perks unlocked is a bit of a GTFO build

Windows of opportunity to see resources
    Overcome to run away
Lithe for when you're already injured and can't use overcome
And Vigil to recover from exhaustion faster

Basically, whenever you're not in a chase or safe behind a wall while being chased, walk so you can just lithe/overcome away

  8. My favorite build to run on my Jeff is The "Screw Ya Hooks" build. Basically just making it as hard as possible for the killer to hook you and it can just be annoying for them.
-Boil over, Deliverance, Breakdown, and either Saboteur or Ds
A toolbox and hook offering can also be used!

  9. I had a game recently where I was running Autodidact and on my first chance to heal someone else I got four skill checks pretty quickly. I was running (tier 1 sadly) Solidarity as well so by the time I was done I was near half healed myself. I then ran off to the Claude in the Basement who was about to hit stage two, used Balanced Landing on the stairs to get that make in time for the safe before she actually did hit stage two. Then once we were out of the basement and I healed her I got my fifth skill check pretty fast then another to top her off really quickly. I just wish Autodidact increased the odds of getting a skill check, at least by a little. There have been a lot of times I'm sitting at three or more tokens and I never get another skill check for the rest of the game.

I wish Distortion had some means of regaining tokens, maybe start with three and gain un up to a max of five for every time you unhook someone. It'd still problly not see much use could make it a bit more viable.

    Thanks for the video.

  10. I love that Jill is in DbD but her perks are not great not even good. Blast Mine should be reworked and renamed to Master of Unlocking. The perk works after completing 2 or 3 gens you can unlock exit gates at a increased speed or unlock the hatch without a key. Keys have become useless and escaping from a hatch is less likely to happen. Counter force should also increase speed of blessing a totem but no longer reveals the farthest totem and no longer gets a stacking bonus.

  11. Crazy idea, what about a series where you rank how well survivors would do in each of the licensed killers respective universes (e.g. how well ash would do in resident evil or elodie in the hellraiser universe)
