  1. I don't play dbd anymore. Even before I only truly had fun once I made it to red ranks. It seemed back then the game would give me helpful teammates and the killer would usually be on par with my skill level. Since they changed how multiplayer works it seems like I never have helpful teammates and the killers are usually always better than I ever was. All that said the game is still fun to watch, especially when you play it!

  2. I play DBD for one day a week for a few hours. I did used to play it more. I play survivor Solo queue. Whenever they create new Killer perks, or new Killers, they always seem to be balanced around the almighty SWF. Solo queue isn't even a thought for them. Every buff or nerf they implement is the result of the Killer vs SWF dynamic.
So the experience as a Solo survivor seems to be getting crappier. And I really miss the old Rank system. Can't stand the SBMM. Face-camping on the first hook ( at 4-5 gens ) is downright common because Killers want their "4k". So they face-camp/tunnel the first person out asap and run NOED.
I'm tired of being matched with little asshat 2-3 man SWF's who leave me to die on my first hook after I've done my best as a team player for an entire match. Even sometimes carrying the team. Devs could offer high BP bonuses for end game saves, or anything like that but they designed a system that basically judges your skill almost entirely by escapes which is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. I think you uploaded a video not too long ago about crappy team mates who left you to die on your first hook even though they had hook states left and you ran the Killer for half the game.
    This selfishness is increasing.
More on the old Rank system, it gave me something to strive for. A goal. And the monthly reset might have knocked me back to purple, but it was a lesser hurdle to overcome. I found at Red ranks I was placed with competent players. Now with SBMM? Selfish little assholes, OR, you get 2 experienced people, one mediocre and one absolute potato whose been playing for a week (because that's "balanced" apparently?). In Solo queue, the potato can lose the match for everyone. It's like the Devs never play their own game.
Uh.. what else. They made Keys absolutely useless. No one uses them anymore. There used to be an excitement as a Solo player that you actually had a greater chance of escape if you brought a key. And it was a real sense of accomplishment if in an impossible situation (say, 2 people are dead, 2 gens up) that you might be able to save your team mate if you just found them. I it was stressful but exhilarating to creep around desperately trying to find them and gesture madly to follow you.
With the hatch changes and so many high mobility Killers, a hatch escape if you are the last survivor now is a snowflake's chance in Hell. And getting the doors is even less likely. So what's the point of trying as the last one standing?
Yeah they basically have made the Solo queue experience kind of miserable. So now I play it on Saturdays and have a few drinks. Then it's not so bad lmao. Sorry for the wall of text.

  3. Oh- but I watch you to vicariously live through seeing my main (Bill) teabag and be absolutely obnoxious to Killers and still escape.
Almost every single Killer I face now is a sweatlord with bad manners and no sense of sportsmanship so it feels therapeutic for me LOL.

  4. HECK YEAH I want a series about all the totems on each map! Maybe you could call it:
    Totem Takedown
    Hex By Hex
    Dead By Totem-Light
    Dead By Hex-Light
    Boon Breakdown
    Mapping Out the Skulls
    From Totem to Totem
    Lord of the Boons
    Cleansing the Map
Dulls, Hexes, & Boons Oh My!
    Across the Map
    Hidden Hexes
    Totem Time
    Hex Hour
    Boon Bash
    Where's Ruin Again?
    How to Train Your Totem
    Hex Hunt
    Mapping With Mogsy

    Hope these help!

  5. Look I haven't enjoyed dbd in awhile. it's hard give feedback or critique on the game without every comment being lol salty killer/survivor. Everything immediately becomes a shouting match between the sides. My biggest complaint comes down to, player behavior on BOTH sides neither seems to care if anyone else is having fun playing the game.

  6. Great to see more videos! Having the breakdowns would be great! As far as the state of DBD. I’ve never played a game where I love it as much as I hate it. I’m a survivor main, rarely swf, and I’m either getting tunneled all the time or I have really crappy teammates. I really only play when there’s a rift with challenges.

  7. Your statements around 15:2015:30 accurately depict it for me. I watch you, OhTofu, Coconut and Reds. I don't enjoy playing anymore tbh, I stopped playing on console about 3-4 months ago. Had all characters purchased up to before Pinhead basically. The game just gets to be severely unfun if you try to just play and put in some time. You get to high ranks where everything is try hard and the same perks over and over. I happily enjoy the content I watch though.
The video idea for totem guides isn't a bad one either, when I played I know I still struggled finding them lol.
